I had been meaning to do this for awhile because I could never keep track of good start times for overnights to finish next day (when to start when you need it by 3pm vs 7pm).

I had been dabbling with a blog for some creative release and decided to start keeping my smoke notes there. Here is one from last weekend on a pork shoulder I did overnight starting at 225 while I slept and cranking up in the am.

It has been nearly a month since my original post, so I wanted to provide an update for everyone who has been following this situation.

📜 UPDATE

I am currently working with the social media escalation team that reached out to me through Reddit. They informed me that they were reviewing archived promotional materials from the time I enrolled and that if the branded-device restriction was not disclosed in those materials, my promotional discount may be restored (or an equivalent alternative may be offered).

My case has now been escalated to leadership and I am waiting for a final decision.

Central, KY with what I think is a bermuda/fescue lawn.

Been here since 22, regularly do a 4 step granular, with a hose end weed app late spring ish, looking to take things to the next level though and I don't really know where to go from here.

I mow on setting 4 out of 6 with my ego mower with a big league stripe kit but can't really seem to get decent stripes outside of early spring green season.

​

I have a lot of brown in my yard and while we had a dry spell we have had some decent rains the last few weeks.

​

I also notice a ton of small white bugs jumping when I mow so I threw down and apication of bug be gone a week ago before a good rain.

​

Any ideal next steps. What should I adjust. My neighbors yards are pretty poor so mine definitely stands out on the block, but I want to take it to the next level.

Hey all I'm trying to change this aerator screen out on my downstairs bathroom. The upstairs bathroom just popped out but I'm having trouble with this one. Anything I need to do or just use more Force to pop it out?

Also what size o-ring should I get to replace this one it's not coming out and it's pretty grimy.

Got it gents, it was just so calciumed up I had to brute push it and almost break the old aerator. Thanks for whoever shared the tip to push it bottomnup through threads. New aerator is in and its golden.

Edit 5/29/26: Update: I toggled it again and cleared cache this AM and it has re-synched. Hopefully just a blip.

I woke up this morning to all my RCS chats being inactive and this message.

I have toggled it back off and on but still it shows the same. My service is not lapsed I have been paid up for years.

I've got a pork shoulder 6 and 1/2 pounder that I put on last night around 11:00 before I went to bed and I'm feeling really good about resting in the cooler right now.

I couldn't really get it above 197 today but pulled it about 11:00 a.m. it was so probe tender. Throwing these guys on now and got about an hour and a half left before we serve about 2:30 2:45.

I know they are undergoing some website maintenance, but was curious if others were seeing this, especially those who prepay with points frequently.
