This is under out back deck that faces west. Not pictured is the “back”, a retaining wall that allows some mud in, then the retaining wall on the right side which is quite a bit more mud proof.

It’s brick with clay underneath which matches the patio I’m standing on. But every time I move something in this corner, dozens of mosquitoes scatter everywhere. The rest of our yard and patio drain pretty effectively so it’s pretty frustrating having this one section.

Harland Bartholomew, more than practically anyone in St Louis history, is responsible for the destruction of the city core, implementing some of the most racist and elitist policy frameworks that our communities are still reeling from today. I have a contractor that quadrupled their soft quote and I want to be sure before I call them out on pricing.

We formerly had bead board on these walls. We didn't have to go down to the lathe, there was a solid scratch coat on most of the wall. I'm not sure they even did a brown coat, all the work was completed in one day.

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but I think this has to be said.
