I’m curious about the highest salary package you’ve personally seen or heard of in the Data Science field. It could be for a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, AI Engineer, or a similar role. If you’re comfortable sharing, mention the country, years of experience, company (optional), and the total compensation. I’m especially interested in real-world examples rather than job advertisements. It would also be interesting to know whether the person had a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD, and what skills or experience helped them reach that level.

So, in January I met this guy who’s a family friend. My family and I went to his house, and he’s usually very quiet and shy around people. When I first arrived, he barely spoke to me, but after about 30 minutes he suddenly started talking a lot.
After we left, he apparently told his mom that he wished he’d asked for my number. She asked him why he didn’t, and he said he was too shy.
Fast forward to March, when we met again. He talked to me a lot and maintained really good eye contact the entire time. One thing I’ve noticed is that whenever we’re in the same room, he never sits on the same couch as me. Instead, he’ll either sit opposite me or on a different couch. I’ve also noticed that whenever we make eye contact, we almost always end up smiling at each other.
We text occasionally, he usually texts but he’s very dry over text and doesn’t say much. In person, though, he’s much more talkative, he talks so much , but I get so nervous around him that I act like a complete idiot and just laugh or smile and agree with him , I’m afraid he will think that I’m uncomfortable or smth .Once he told me that he’d seen one of my Instagram stories and wanted to reply to it, but then decided not to because he thought it was better not to.
My friends have also caught him staring at me a few times when I’ve walked past him.
So… I’m really confused. Do you think he likes me, or am I just reading too much into it? I really like him, but I’d rather he made the first move. I just don’t know if these are actually signs that he’s interested.
Or idk if he’s just hesitating cuz he is 5 years older to me
