Rats are gonna have to actually PvP now LMFAO xD

I'm so glad we got PvE so rats have to engage in PvP xD

I hate when they wait patiently and sneak around unseen using the game's stealth mechanics and then shoot people, getting away smoothly as intended

No way this will be possible when PvE comes out lmfao

God, is everyone but me an idiot or what?

Sidenote: I keep hearing people mention these things called "playstyles," what is that like when you play games while getting a haircut lol?

Kanjuro is the biggest POS in the whole series, I will never forgive him for this

He did this for literally no reason.

Fellas I think we need some official rules on what a soulslike is

This is a post from a circlejerk group so don't take it too serious lol but this is about Arc Raiders lol

"Hey Stan, I need a ride to the dealership, my truck's making this noise...

UOOOOOGGGGGGGGGHHHHNNNNNLILILILILILILILILILILILI"

this is what it feels like to call random people in Metal Gear lol

If you see a guy named MobileFlame walking through Narsh screaming and asking for friends, don't shoot him

It's me. I will not shoot you back and you will not get good loot from me, I promise. I'm just looking for buddies.

People should go back to using emoticons instead of emojis.

Chatbots (and corporations) often use emojis to show their "emotion," I would encourage living, actual humans with blood in their bodies to use emoticons instead.

Haha you're so right 😅

VS

xD

Is using xD old and cringe?

Sure, but its very real and takes more effort than 🤣

Emoticons also have more room for personalization.

I can drop a ;] ;) ToT TT~TT whatever and still get my point across.

I think that emojis are cool or whatever but whenever I see an emoticon, I have 0 doubts about whether I'm speaking to a bot or not. I KNOW this is a 30 year old weenie going :^)

This game isn't "too hard" it's too boring.

Firstly, this is not a hate post, I just have something to say about the community and game itself surrounding this narrative I see that keeps coming up.

People love hard games. Soulslikes sell fine. TTRPGs are very popular. Turn based stuff like Divinity and Baldurs Gate is hella popular on high difficulty. People love Mario Maker levels. People love Roguelites and Roguelikes where you die constantly. They love MOBAs, and Shooters of all kinds, even some fighting games are doing quite well.

People don't like boring games. People don't like sitting in menus with nothing happening. People don't like finding loot that does nothing until you get 15 more of it. People don't like finding the same 4 weapons over and over. People don't like tiered loot with little changes between it (see Diablo 2 for beloved loot). People don't like dying in 2 shots and then taking another 5-10 minutes to load in. People don't like feeling like there's no progression after dozens of hours.

If you want to blame this game's current failing on difficulty, you're just jerking yourself off for still playing the game. This game isn't too hard, it's too boring.

How's this game for new players?

I recently got into extraction games with Marathon, Arc Raiders, and Mistfall Hunter.

I enjoy them a lot but I'm looking for another Extraction game playable on ps5 in first person and well...thats alive with players.

Is this beginner friendly?

This is your time to talk about your desires for the game and probably be heard.

I need everyone here to come to terms with this:

Nothing in this game MUST stay the same.

Nothing in this game is set in stone except the name and the gunplay.

Everything can change and a great deal of it should.

Embrace this, this is actually awesome and very cool.

Its not often we get to play something that is this modular and open to change.

We should be very open to any ideas that can enhance the experience for basically ANY PLAYERS THAT WANT TO BE HERE.

Because the reality is that BASICALLY NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY.

So yes if we need roguelite elements, pve, pvp, whatever we need should be embraced, spoken about, and spoken about often.

This is your time to talk about what you want and actually stand a chance of getting it, use it.

If Goku is universal why couldn't he beat Zamasu and why did he need help?

Common arguments people will make here are:

He was tired - but DBS Goku tired should be casually stronger than Buuhan who is supposedly universal still doable, this is the dimensional crusher right?

He doesn't have an attack with the AP for this - this is a flaw throughout Dragon Ball and opens more questions than answers

Ok post complete.

Thanks for coming to my "Goku can't be universal and the power system displayed in Dragon Ball Super doesn't support the idea that he is." Ted Talk

I just wanted to thank the mic boiz for being chill

Never really used mics with randoms in games before this one

It's been a great experience tbh, completely changed my time in trios.

Playing with people that know what they're doing and where to go only further facilitates me not knowing wtf is happening at times, and it's great. The few things I do know or keep track of, help everybody, and even though I'm often lagging behind, I still get kills, still scout, and no one's been rude even if I get downed, or if I make a mistake.

Literally didn't understand this sub at all until like 2 days ago, these people are psychotic.

u/C00KIEME4T — 2 months ago

I don't think the main sub understands how offputting their elitism is for new players

Basically every suggestion is met with

You don't know

You dont get it

Git gud

Who do you think you are

The game's fine

Quit playing

And unless you have hundreds of hours they literally don't care what you think. I don't really think they understand how shitty they make the community look and feel.

New players come in and basically get told to get fucked forever and all of your desires for the game are stupid.

And then they leave...

Like the community should be the thing making people stay when the game gets rough, but instead they're showing people the door.

I'm lost. Idk if I've ever seen this.

Its like they want the game to die

Cryo is absolutely horrifying

I play horror games often, and honestly Cryo is one of the most stressful and overwhelming experiences I've had in a long time gaming.

It is extremely oppressive, calling it a labyrinth is putting it lightly. This map is so cool and makes me really wowed at people that can memorize stuff like this because man this just blows my mind.

In VB I just follow whoever knows what they're doing and that's good enough for me for now until I know what the hell is going on. I've accepted that I probably won't see the Compiler any time soon but...maybe that's for the best.

Hopefully Season 3 gives us more of the Marathon ship
