Kindle for 10 years old
I want my son (10) to read more and I was thinking to get him a Kindle.
I was wondering which model should I get it? The Colorsoft or regular?

I’ve met some friends over the weekend who I haven’t seen for a year or two.
Catching up with their life and just listening to their empty talk made me realize that I like my quiet and simple life.
This reunion gave me a headache.
I had to listen to them but they were not much interest about how I’m even doing.
I think I just realized that I like distance even more and don’t want to be in their circle.
I love my life and I prefer to spend my time with my kid much more than some adult friends.
My son will be 10 and wants a BD party at a wibit park.
Water is deep as it is an ex quarry, so life jacket is a mandatory.
I feel one parent should be in water with each kid.
Everyone who entry the park needs ticket, so the total price will be a lot for a few kids and parents. No drop off as I as a host can’t be follow all the kids, specially if they split up.
How would you handle a party like this?
How many kids should be invited?
How should pay the parent/parents/ possible siblings tickets? Just the ticket is $50 per person.
Food? Pizza can’t be ordered to this place due its location, food truck is on site.
Snacks and drinks allowed to bring into the park.
Cake or cupcakes are questionable as they don’t offer to keep it in a fridge.
Reservation for shelter is extra $200-400.
I just don’t see this venue as sustainable place for a kids birthday party money wise. Tickets, food trucks food can add up really quickly if I invite 4-6 friends and their parents as well.
My son will be 10 soon and I have no idea at all. He doesn't want anything specific....so I have no clue at all.
Any tips will be appreciated.
App never worked, now I can't sign into my account at all, GFiber support is useless.
It is time to go back to AT&T fiber.
My son (10) is growing up fast, I remember the day he was born, all the fun, things we did together and now he just wants to stay home on the weekends.
I offer him many activities and things to do but he says mostly no.
I thought this will happen a few years later but here we are.
How about your 10 year old, does he want to do things with you or mostly with his friends and classmates?
I’m a customer who ordered furniture from an online retailer, but had to cancel my order.
The retailer canceled the order and started the refund process.
They use Shopify for their payment process.
The purchase amount was close to 15K.
Refund was issued more than 10 days ago and I still haven’t got my refund.
Retailer can’t do anything as they already send the refund.
As a consumer what can I do?
I have a great dentist, who referred me to a prosthodontist, who referred me to an orthodontist first.
I’m 50 and having 11 crown/bridges on the upper lever, PFM.
Because of that crown my lower 6 teeth (in the middle) worn down and caused changing my bite.
Now I have over bite and the 6 worn teeth.
I’ve been wearing Invisalign for over a year.
Prosthodontist also referred to a periodontist who recommended crown lengthening due the inflammation on the upper.
Prosthodontist treatment plan is crow lengthening, remove the upper 11 crown and bridges, place temporary crowns, keep using Invisalign. Then everything is done get 11 and 6 crowns at the same time.
The 17 crowns, temporary crowns and other treatments are way too expensive that I can afford even if we spread it out.
I can’t afford financially having that much to spend. I know my finances well, just went through on something which cashed me out completely. I’m spending for basic everyday stuffs only, nothing I can’t back anymore.
So it’s
I could get back to Europe where I’m from and get full mouth crowns on both upper and lower for a much affordable price.
Can’t decide if that’s a good idea or not, but I don’t know if there is any option here in the US to get affordable dental care.
Went through an amicable divorce, we have a child together. 50/50 custody.
Ex has a boyfriend and it looks like I’m not welcome to be there at some kid “events”.
First my son baptism ceremony (wasn’t even told when it will be and I wasn’t invited) and now summer camp closing ceremony. She clearly told me told me she doesn’t want me to be there, because it is her day anyway.
What’s next?
What kind of mother is that? I don’t care if her boyfriend is there, I should be there for my son not for them.
I’ve switched from AT&T last December, everything worked great. But in the last 3-4 months I’ve got spam calls daily, like 5-10. It is really annoying and nothing I can do about it.
I never had this issue with AT&T.
Any idea how to stop them?
Blocking and reporting doesn’t seem to help at all.
I’ve been at Wet ‘’ Wild many times but never on the 4th.
Is to going to be really crowded or just like a regular Saturday?
I'm dealing with a merchant who is not responding to my request. I have two orders, not shipped and still under production or maybe not yet. Their policy is clear, it can be canceled before shipping or return it after receiving. I've contacted to cancel, but they don't do anything and seem like they stopped to respond to my emails.
I paid for these orders with my Citi Double Cash (total close to 15K).
I never had any dispute charge with this card or Citi.
What's is your experience with Citi dispute charge?
After divorce did you get invited by your ex for your kid’s baptism ceremony if yourself are not religious?
My ex asked me if I have anything against my son to be baptized. I said no.
I’m not against any religion but I’m not religious at all.
I thought I’ll invite to the ceremony but I wasn’t, didn’t even know when it will be.
I don’t know what to think about but I’m f…..g mad. 😡
I’ divorced and always used to have family HDHP with HSA account. Our contribution was always as a family contribution.
Now I’m single but my son who is still a minor on my HDHP.
My question can I still contribute as much as a family allowed or just as much as a single taxpayer?
This year I’ll claim him on my tax return but next year his mom will, but probably he will stay on my health insurance plan next year too.
I’m at a year and 3 months now since I have Invisalign.
Orthodontist is happy with the progress but the prosthodentis not much.
The original plan was to have Invisalign to help overbite, crossbite and move some teeth so prosthodontics can put 6 crown, but it turns out those 6 crown can cause more problems in tbe future. I already have 11 teeth crowned and to plan have more 6.
Now I have to see a perio to deal with some gum issue and plan needs to be changed and probably have more work done, also might have to use brackets.
At this point I’m thinking to get crown on all 24 or 28 and just get over it once.
I'm just wondering if someone needs full mouth crown (upper and lower) how dentist prep for this? Do they in sections or can be done in one sitting?
I already have crown/bridge (on 11 teeth), so that needs to be removed, but wondering if dentist do the rest on the same appointment.
Does anyone know if I can go to the Westgate Post Office and apply for child passport without appointment?
I'm thinking to get a full mouth zirconia crown for both upper and lower. I'm 50 and just can't pay the full price in the USA.
I'm thinking to get it done in Europe and visit family as well.
What was your experience doing dental work overseas? Did you need some "dental preparation" beforehand , just to make sure everything goes well?
How long did it take the from the first dentist visit to the finish?
Any advice would be appreciated!
I have porcelain crown for 25 years on my upper front and it started to wear down my lower front teeth (the 6 middle).
My dentist recommended to go to a prosthodontics, who recommended first to have Invisalign ( to fix overbite and cross bite also have gaps so she can put crowns on them) with an orthodontist.
I’m almost done with the Invisalign and the prosthodontics just check out the process this week and mention that her recommendation will be 3/4 crowns (central and lateral incisors) and probably 1-1 full crowns on the two canines. First she wanted just veneers, but told her I don’t want veneers.
My primary dentist mentioned he would do full crowns on all 6 teeth.
Whose recommendation should I go?
