Is your driving instructor supposed to teach you everything for the test?
I failed my driving test again in Drogheda and realised that a lot of the driving decisions I got failed for were things I regularly did during practice with my instructor but never received any advice about.
I’m wondering, is a driving instructor supposed to teach you everything you need to know to pass the test?
Cant stop rewatching monk
Yesterday I finished rewatching all 8 seasons of Monk for the third time.
It’s one of my favourite series, and I’m honestly so sad that it’s over again.
Are there any other shows similar to Monk that you’d recommend?
Am I right to say the cast all seem like musty people?
Why do I not see any sale on shein?
Non of the products are reduced?
His into kills me
I liked his content and informations but omg his introductions / sponsor at the start of every video is so annoying.
It actually makes me so annoyed which causes me to get off his videos most of the time.
Edit: I change my mind. He is a monster hiding behind his education to project an image of credibility and integrity that doesn’t necessarily reflect who he is as a person. Ewww

When did you realise your parents were actually making the situation worse?
I’m 26F now
sometimes I actually laugh when I think about how much worse my parents made certain situations.
It’s hard to explain because it wasn’t one specific event. It was a culmination of more than 15 years of countless incidents, poor decisions, and multiple factors that all built on each other.
Now as an adult I can’t imagine being anything but protective and responsible for children.
When did you realise your parents were actually making things worse rather than better?
Having a useless driving sponsor
I started practicing driving in January and I always try to be appreciative of the time it takes to teach a new driving learner permit as a sponsor. However my sponsor which is my sister has been a fuckking nightmare from day one.
She has not taught me any fuckking shitt. Instead, most driving involve shouting, swearing, and telling me I’m “doing it wrong” without explaining what I should be doing differently. When I first started driving I taught I was really bad at driving and that is why she is angry. Come 7 months later after completing the 12 lessons, I am independently managing the car and nothing about how she screams at me has changed. I am able to handle a lot of torments from her however I swear she has increased my blood pressure soo much and I am only (26).
For example the first time I came across a bus pulling in at the bus stop. She quickly shouted that I am not spouse to be behind the bus when it’s at the bus stop. So I told her it’s my first time trying to overtake a vehicle. It’s funny considering how she knows she has been the only person I have practiced driving with and I have to tell her to calm down and it’s my first time experiencing this situation.
It’s like she is not happy to teach me and she gets very angry whether I am doing the right or wrong things. Our dad taught her how to drive and learn the basics however she didn’t even teach me any of that, so I honestly learned so much slower then I should have because she always said I am doing things wrong.
If I honestly had enough money I would have never asked her to teach me however it’s financially not possible for me especially considering the new standards the examiners have for students to pass and the waiting time.
What was the one situation that made you realise you’d used up one of your nine lives?”
Mine is when my brother who was only 8years old and I was 19. None of us know how to swim.
We were at a beach on a cliff, he told me to look at “something in the water”, when I looked down at the beach he pushed me into the water.
The water was about 2.5 meter deep, I am 5ft.
When I felt the bottom of the beach I used my legs to push myself up, however when I got back up I quickly screamed and I sank again and there was nothing close to me to grab and hold on to.
I quickly learned that there was no one to help me so I quickly decided a plan to push myself up closer to the cliff I fell from anytime I sank.
I was lucky to have the energy to push myself back up 5 times to grip onto something.
I remember taking the biggest deep breath every time I went up.
I forgave my brother even the moment I was sinking because I knew he didn’t understand what he just did.
What are your biggest regrets in life?
Mine is not known how low the career I picked will pay me.
If I knew I would have changed career.
What useful advice can you actually give to someone?
I would love you hear from everyone.
I did it at 11pm for the first time today it felt amazing
My Drogheda driving test result
I can’t believe this.
In my defence it was my first test and I booked it through cancellation and I didn’t get to practice the test area.
Road signs driving test
Does anyone know if the driving examiner will ask to name road signs?
I was looking at the test marking sheet and no where does it mention being asked to identify road signs.

Is dry steering allowed during driving test? Especially during turnabout.
