Childfree but I am starting to become DOG free as well even as an animal lover :(

I love dogs and I love kids but that doesn’t mean I’ll have either of the two. I’ve been starting to have bad encounters with dogs more this summer more then ever and it’s triggered a lot of bad memories in me.

Specifically Large Dogs and other kids have been scary to me growing up. I’ve been chased and rough housed by Large dogs growing up and I can remember those terrifying memories as clear as day.

As for other kids growing up, I’ve been bullied since kindergarten. I was eight when I got diagnosed with Autism/ADD/Anxiety and Insomnia. I’ve been with a specialist for a DECADE.

The only animals I’ll probably have are cats at best. I’ve had the best memories with cats growing up. I loved the feeding the stray cats at grandmas house since as a kindergartner.

Did anyone watch MTV's 16 and Pregnant and 'Teen Mom'?

The show 16 and Pregnant first came out in June 2009! I was born in 2007, so I did get to watch it before the show stopped airing! This show was responsible for lowering teen pregnancy rates. That show was one of the biggest influences on why I am childfree. Does anyone remember specific episodes?

What's the worst thing anyone has ever said or done to you because you're asexual?

I just want to know if I am not alone. I must don’t feel any romantic attraction nor sexual attraction. I am very scared because people are trying to set me up.

Some children and adults are just bad seeds.

I‘ve learned another thing today. Some people in our society are bad seeds. No matter how they are raised some people are just bad people. I’ve seen kids who had EVERYTHING. Yet they were so horrible.

We know that these children grow into adults. We literally don’t who know humans we birth come out as. You could do anything for your child and they may just turn out as a horrible person.

Sometimes the apple isn’t far from the tree. It may just be a cycle that’s repeated. A bad fruit can have bad seeds.

We put WAY more thought in our lives than the average person.

For many people, having kids is the default path. Deciding not to often involves a lot more reflection because you're going against that expectation. We make deliberate decision.

We consider that we would play a huge role in a whole new person’s life. The decision a parent makes can affect a child’s life. We know being a Parent is an 18-LIFE.

We don’t need to touch to stove to know it’s hot.

Everybody struggles but we have to make choices to avoid struggles. A baby will NOT fix whatever situation people are in. Babies believed to fix things is a big lie sold to people.

Parents complain all the time about children. We childfree people actually listened to them decided, we don’t want that struggle at all. We don’t have to be a mother or father to know what it’s like being one.

This also applies to marriage. If you seen how your parents treated each other or witnessed your friend’s marriage.

We observe and ask ourselves do we want to go through the exact same thing if not worse than they did. We said No.
