Contemporary Bedroom Interior | SketchUp + D5 Render

Hey everyone! Sharing a bedroom project I recently designed and visualized.

I wanted to play around with the contrast between the traditional damask wallpaper and more contemporary elements like the walnut joinery, rounded furniture, and built-in cabinetry. The main goal was to keep the room warm and comfortable without making it feel too traditional.

I worked on the interior design, material palette, furniture and built-in elements, and then brought everything together in 3D using SketchUp + D5 Render. And for mood board I have used chatgpt go.

Would love to hear what you think — especially about the material choices, composition, and overall feel of the room. Always happy to get some honest feedback and see what I could improve.

I’m currently open to architectural and interior 3D design and visualization commissions.Dm for more

Thanks for taking a look!

Just moved to Goa for work — looking for a reliable second-hand bike under ₹50k

Hey everyone! I’m a fresh B.Arch graduate and recently moved to Goa for work. I’ve joined as a junior architect at a firm in Parra, Mapusa.

I’m from another state and need a bike for daily commuting. My budget is strictly around ₹50k, so I know I’m looking at older/pre-owned bikes.

I’m not too particular about the model — reliability, reasonable maintenance and good condition matter more to me. This is my first time buying a used bike in Goa, so I’d really appreciate some local advice on which models to look for, what areas/dealers are trustworthy, and what I should check before buying.

If anyone has bought a used bike around this budget recently, I’d love to hear what worked for you and what you’d avoid.

Nellore has changed a lot in the last few years. What do you think homes here should look like now?

I’m a Nellore native and an architect working mainly in architectural and interior design, along with 3D visualisation.

I’ve been seeing a lot of new homes and developments coming up around Nellore, and it got me thinking about how residential design here is changing.

Sharing a few of my recent visualisations — not as a “this is how it should be” kind of thing, but more to get a conversation going.

With changing lifestyles, smaller plots, new materials and a growing interest in contemporary design, what do you think works best for Nellore?

Would you still prefer a more traditional home, a completely modern one, or a mix of both?

Would genuinely love to hear what people here think.

Do you need something like this in your home, or is it just nice to look at?

Just curious how people here feel about this kind of interior.

Warm wood, softer colours and a lot of curves something a little different from the usual Indian apartment interiors.

Would you actually want to live in a space like this?

Warm Organic Interior | SketchUp + D5 Render

A recent interior I worked on, going for a warm and slightly retro feel.

Kept the modelling fairly clean and spent more time on the materials and lighting

Is this Organic Modern, Japandi, or 70s Contemporary? What would you call this style?

Was playing around with this kind of interior and ended up here.

Nothing too crazy, just trying to get the materials and light feeling right.

Thought I’d share the result.

Are 3D visualisers still relevant in architecture now that AI can generate renders in seconds?

Genuinely curious what other architects and visualisers think about this.

I work in architectural and interior 3D visualisation, and obviously AI has changed the game pretty quickly. You can now take a rough idea, throw a prompt at a model and get something that looks impressive in seconds.

So it got me thinking where does that leave the traditional 3D visualiser?

Personally, I don't think the job is disappearing. I think the role is changing.

A good render isn't just about making an image look beautiful. There’s still a lot that goes into understanding the actual design proportions, materials, furniture, lighting, camera composition, spatial relationships, what can actually be built, and sometimes even figuring out why something doesn't look right.

AI can give you 20 interesting possibilities very quickly, but if you're working from an actual architectural project with drawings, dimensions, client requirements and design decisions, someone still has to understand the space and make sure the visualisation actually represents it.

At the same time, I'd be lying if I said AI hasn't made me question how much of the traditional workflow will remain.

Maybe the future isn't 3D visualiser vs AI.

Maybe it's 3D visualiser + AI where the person who understands architecture and visualisation uses AI to explore ideas faster, iterate more and spend less time on the repetitive parts.

I'm curious though:

If you're an architect, designer or visualiser would you still hire a 3D artist today when AI can produce a convincing image almost instantly?

And if yes, what would you expect that person to bring to the table that AI can't?

Architects who moved into 3D visualisation — how has it worked out for you?

Hey everyone,

I’m an architect based in Goa, and over the last few years I’ve found myself working more and more on 3D architectural visualisation, interiors and design, alongside architecture.

I actually enjoy the visualisation side quite a lot — modelling the space, working through materials and lighting, figuring out how a design should feel, etc. I also work across interiors and landscape depending on the project.

I’m curious about other architects here who have gone down a similar route.

Did you end up specialising in visualisation, or do you still try to keep one foot in architectural practice?

And how do you find the balance between designing architecture and producing visuals of architecture?

Would be interested to hear how others have approached it, especially those who started out in practice and gradually moved towards 3D/visualisation.

For those working in Goa real estate — what are buyers actually looking for right now?

I’m an architect working in 3D architectural/interior visualisation, and I’ve been following the development happening around Goa for a while.

I’m curious to hear from people actually working in the local real-estate market:

Are buyers currently more interested in ready-to-move-in homes, new villas, apartments, plots, or renovation projects?

And for new developments, how important are things like interior design, landscaping and realistic visualisation when you're presenting a property to a potential buyer?

Would be interesting to hear what people are seeing on the ground — especially from developers, agents and people who have recently bought or sold property in Goa.

Architect + 3D visualiser from Goa — looking for freelance work

I’m an architect based in Goa, working mainly in 3D architectural visualisation, interiors and design.

I’m looking to take up some freelance work at the moment — could be a complete project, a few renders, modelling, interior work, drawings, or helping out another architect/designer with an ongoing project.

I also work with landscape visualisation, so I’m fairly comfortable moving between architecture, interiors and landscape.

I’m not really looking for a particular type of project. If you have something interesting going on and need someone on the design/visualisation side, feel free to reach out.

I can send over my portfolio and we can take it from there.

Is 3ds Max + Corona/V-Ray still worth learning with AI advancing so fast?

Hey everyone, I’m a little confused about which direction to take, so I’d really appreciate some honest advice.

I started with SketchUp + Twinmotion, then moved to Enscape, and now I’m mainly using D5 Render for my visualizations. I’m thinking about learning 3ds Max + Corona/V-Ray, but at the same time AI is moving so fast that I’m wondering if I should spend that time learning AI tools instead.

My main goal is simple: I want to start earning from 3D visualization. Do you guys think archviz is still a good field to get into, or is AI going to make it much harder to earn from 3D visualization?

Would love to hear from people who are actually working in the industry — especially what you would do if you were starting again today.
