Then not knowing about the Apple II or even SNES/Genesis Madden makes me feel so old...
For years, I never was interested in simulation sports games and have avoided Madden for a very long time, but this time, after trying a trial out, I decided to purchase Madden 26 for the first time and I thought it was fun. Now, I still don't enjoy simulation sports games as I am someone who loves NFL Blitz or Tecmo Bowl, but this game has an Arcade setting as well as letting me mess with the sliders, I find myself enjoying the game a lot more than I thought.
I have heard about this series and how much people don't enjoy the games nowadays and we'll, I picked this game up for $14 mainly because I was curious and I don't think it's that bad. I only play Exhibition with my favorite team, so I guess that's not a problem as I only care for one mode. Maybe the others are pretty mediocre, but Exhibition is very fun. Maybe it's my first Madden, so I wouldn't understand unless I play the older ones, but I am mainly in it for the Exhibition. I am curious about picking up College Football 26 and see if that's any fun as well.
But I dunno, as my first Madden, it plays fine.
Was curious to watch this show as I saw both David and Tamela Mann starring and that makes me very excited. 4 episodes in and I'm just...what the heck are we doing here?
How are we 4 episodes in and have all of the characters standing in one place all day? Sure, in episode 3, we see Vinny's room, but most of this show so far has only been the main lobby, and it's been joke after joke, dragging the jokes longer than they needed and it feels like the plot is very slowly moving forward and it's starting to get boring. Not sure what Tyler Perry was thinking when making the pilot and episode start out like this.
Does it get better? What episode does Mr. Brown and Cora start to appear in? The theme song is very catchy, but this show so far is kinda buns...
I shot the ball right when the buzzer beat and I didn't get my 2 points...
I don't get what's going on. My friends and I wanted to play with a bunch of the fouls off and the one that's ruining our fun are the constant Reach-In Fouls. We checked to see it's at 0, yet the game still picks it up when we try to attempt steals. We even tried to test if maximizing Steals and Steal Success would help and it would for a bit but then we would still get Reach-In Fouls throughout the game. Is there another slider that might be causing this to happen or is it bugged?
Last time I watched House of Payne was nearly 12 or 13 years ago, so it's pretty nostalgic to see the show again (as well as the Meet the Browns sitcom) after so long, but what I didn't know is that there's also The Paynes where Curtis and Ella moved to Florida but then I found that they continued House of Payne after a long hiatus and it seems like The Paynes are back in Atlanta? Trying to find out if The Paynes takes part in the HoP canon or is it like an alternative story? Pretty confused if it's worth watching or not.
