At least try to criticize Nintendo.

At least try to criticize Nintendo.

What a poor attempt to try to make Nintendo seem like they're just as bad, if not, worse that the condition every other gaming publishers are facing. But you gotta love Reddit, Twitter, and YouTube. Yap nonsense about Nintendo, get profit out of it. How sad...

Would you care about Dead or Alive if it kept the fanservice, has crossplay, and rollback?

I can't help but think thay DOA is that one fight game franchise most of the FGC works make jokes at. If it isn't Smash or MK, it would be DOA. The word gets around that it's nothing more than a gooner game with the fighting mechanics really aren't that great compared to Tekken or Soulcalibur around those times.

That was then, but nowadays, I am seeing some people show interest in the franchise, but talk about the lack of crossplay and rollback prevents them from giving the games a try and yeah, that's extremely fair. Not having those things in the big '26 is a mind-boggling move from KT.

But the question I always wanted to know is if there will be interest if the next game does feature crossplay, rollback, while keeping the fanservice in check as well as having little amount of costumes to purchase rather than the large amount we see nowadays. I want to say this could help make DOA have a healthy playerbase, but I feel this game would still be labeled as a gooner game and avoided by a lot of the community, but I don't know.

[Long Post] Nin10doland and the Meaning of this Subreddit

Not long ago, a user in this sub posted a video of Landon's (Nin10doland) thoughts on this subreddit from his 2nd channel where he rants about people in the Nintendo community over Toxic Positivity VS Acceptable Negativity. I have seen some comments about him being correct about this subreddit shutting down anyone "rightfully" critiquing Nintendo and to that, I really want to take a look at the video myself to see what he is on about.

Starting off immediately, he rants about people calling him out for his Nintendo Directs Are Not For Me Anymore and It's Okay video. He keeps stating that it's his opinion, but the biggest issue about that claim is that it seems like he's expecting people to just only reading the title of his video and comment positively about it, when in the video, he stated that 80% of the recent Nintendo Direct are all third party games and that's considered to be a problem to him as he also states that Nintendo fans watches a Nintendo Direct to see Nintendo games. Then states that most Nintendo fans own other consoles so there's no need to show off old games. My issue with this is that there's no way he could prove that most Nintendo fans own other systems and the Wii U suffered heavily from the lack of third-party support, so it makes sense why a great amount of Nintendo fans are happy with the Direct. He's just upset that he didn't get what he wanted; a plethora of Nintendo games.

The second point he makes is about this subreddit. He claims that all we ever do is post videos about someone making a false statement about Nintendo and label them as being "slightly negative", making it means that he did not take the time to watch these videos nor did he took the time to understand that most of the thumbnails are AI-generated, which is more concerning. What he doesn't understand is that the people that gets posted here ARE what he rants about; those who are spreading toxic negativity. He knows that there are grifters out there that are misinforming about Nintendo, but he doesn't bother to hear these guys out first and point out what they're wrong about like what most of the comments from the posts are doing. Yes, there are users who are saying, "They're right" or "They're just giving fair criticism" are downvoted because just like Landon, they do not take the time to watch these guys and only go with their title, just like they do with Landon's videos.

Final point is him getting upset that a user made this post: "Nin10doland Wants Splatoon to be Mario". My issue with this is that his recent video from his 2nd channel, he was very vague about why he didn't like what he saw from Splatoon Raiders then asked what that post is even talking about. When I actually check the "Nintendo Just Broke My Heart..." video out, right at 2:14, he literally said "There's no platforming, there's no levels to complete or anything..." Even right at 3:04, "...or play through a level where you have to platform or do challenges in order to get to the end." 5:56, "Man, can we get a big Hero Mode, single player, platforming, action-adventure game?" My guy, these are the reasons why that post was made and why the comments in your video was criticizing you for; you can't stop talking about wanting a platformer. It's no wonder why some people are calling you a grifter because you're complaining over a game that wasn't meant to be, and now you're making all of these speculations about the Ocarina of Time remake having more content or knowing what the gameplay will look like but then try to twist it around by saying Nintendo games nowadays lack quality because you wanted more content, which is fair to want more, but wrong to reason why you think these games lack quality.

My issue with Landon is that he gets upset over those who are critiquing his videos and callomg those people as toxic positivity when that isn't the case at all. He says stuff like not expecting 3D Mario, Directs not being for him anymore, or have said multiple times that he should stay away from social media, but he then comes back to still talk about 3D Mario, talk about how he miss Directs from the Switch 1 era, seeing some negative comment about him or the community on Twitter then makes a rant video about it. This is why I can't take what he says about all of this stuff seriously anymore. He comes off as being a hypocrite, a man child who doesn't get what he wanted, then blames the community for his so-called "opinion" when it's constant whining and doom-posting about Nintendo and the community.

Overall, this is the r/nintendogrifting subreddit where we point out and criticize Nintendo grifters or anyone who are misinforming about Nintendo as if they know what goes on over at the company. Nin10doland, while not entirely a grifter, does fall into the trap of thinking he knows Nintendo's strategy of revealing games as well thinking what a Nintendo game should have in terms of quality, according to him. If it's a Nintendo game that he doesn't care for, he gets pissed off and says that Nintendo isn't doing well, that there's no big first party games; even showing that he really does not care for third party games. Then gets upset at those who are questioning his attitude about all of this news or those telling him that all he wants is 3D Mario, which the truer it gets because he can't stop bringing it up and keeps acknowledging the old video he made. HOWEVER, I do believe that he genuinely cares about Nintendo. When he sees a Nintendo game that he likes, he will make videos talking about them being excided over them.

The focus on puzzles is making me dislike DC1.

This game's story and gameplay is pretty good, although a little bullet sponge-y on the dinosaurs themselves, but my god, the pacing of the game is HAMMERED with so many freaking puzzles that I don't understand the reasoning for this. I know puzzles are a RE staple and this game takes heavy inspiration from that franchise, but Jesus Christ, these puzzles are making me go insane. The fact that about over half of the doors in the facility are locked and are needed the right key cards and DDKs along with having to solve the codes or input code numbers just drives me up the wall.

And throughout most of my playthrough, I'm asking myself, "Where's the dinos?!" I legit was waiting for the raptors to jump out of nowhere, getting into rooms, or anything to scare the plauer, but they seem to almost always be around hallways and I am not a fan. But I feel that most of it had to do with the heavy amount of puzzles that just slows the pacing down REALLY badly.

I get that the Ibis Island Research Facility is supposed to be well guarded and top secret but god damn. The game doesn't give you time to breath from all of these things you have to remember, write down, and all that jazz. Might be a no from me dude.

I hate that these games are just too slow for me to enjoy.

I loke a good zombie shooter, and I have been warned many times that Resident Evil isn't that kind of game for me, but I wanted to at least give the franchose a try and I was recommended to give RE2R and 7 a try. To put it short, I didn't enjoy how slow paced both these games are.

And I get it, they're survival horrors; that's the point, but it's such a shame that I'm missing out on good stories but looking st some of the cutscense, thr characters and plot all interest me so much that I can't watch anymore because I really wanna experience it. However, I just can't get used to the slow paced gunplay and the amount of puzzles everywhere, having to backtrack and everything. I love a good puzzle, but I feel RE does it a little took much for me to enjoy because I have to backtrack so much. As for gunplay, I'm too used to go guns blazing in other shooters, but RE, again, isn't that kind of game, but I really wish it was. Having to use my ammo responsibly, mainly just aiming for head just feels tedious for me that I can't gelp but waste bullets.

Overall, this is a me problem and a franchise that isn't for me. It's just that I hate being so interest in the world of RE that I find myself trying to give these games another chance but couldn't. How does someone lile me who is very trigger happy and linear gameplay enjoy Resident Evil?

Anyone still getting the new game despite all of the genAI talk?

GenAI sucks, don't get me wrong, but I really like Crazy Taxi and this new one looks really good that I do wanna purchase it and have fun. Just that all of this genAI talk about the game have made someone like me, feel like if I do get it, those who are super against AI are gonna get on to me and I dunno if that's just something I have to deal with or does it really make me that bad of a person to "support" AI.

For me, I could care less about them use of it. I just don't think that's gonna go away. They used it and that's that. What really decides it for me is the price. If it's priced anywhere about $30 or $40, I'm waiting for a sale. Crazy Taxi is not a game they should sell at full price.

Sorry not sorry.

I love COD in general, but man, as an old COD head, it's very annoying people around my age are acting like they know better on what COD is supposed be. I grew up with this series and I ain't stopping. MW4 looks fun and I'm ready for more info!

I hate having to use this meme, but every argument on the internet IS basically this!

Microsoft should learn from Nintendo, not Sony.

Hello.

Like it or not, Nintendo game's output and quality has always been great and they have only 7 studios. But a lot of them work together and their biggest studio controls their flagships games.

I think Microsoft has a lot of great talents in their studios, but mainly working alone on their own stuff. I believe they should learn from Nintendo and merge a lot of their studios and have their cooperating more.

Have a bigger more professional studio overseen their biggest franchises and coordinating the work of the smaller teams.

If X game needs something that X team knows how to do. Have that team doing it.

Would probably help them a lot not overspending on games and also increasing quality and output.

I don't get it.

So Treyarch added Black Ops Classic and suddenly every old COD fan is jumping for joy, saying COD is back is all of that stuff, but what I don't get is why is everyone praising this and shiting on how fast COD has gotten when these same people shitted on MW19 and MW23 for being slower paced. Plus, why does the community want this franchise to go backwards to the more sluggish pace of COD from 2007?

I play COD to this day because they innovate their gameplay with new techniques and movements that makes the game flow smoothly, fast, and overall a funner experience. When COD try to go backwards, Cold War for example, it was neat to have that classic COD feel to it, but it really felt outdated as I was too used to how the modern games play.

That's not to say I hate old COD, I still enjoy them to this day, but I prefer COD to evolve instead of sticking to being stuck in the 7th generation era. Games have to innovate and add new features for consumers to keep playing as well as bring in a new audience. So why is this community so hard pressed on wanting the franchise to back back to being a shooter from the last nearly 2 decades?

Is it just me or people using the word "soul" to replace "nostalgia" nowadays?

"Remember when games back then had soul?" I can't help but feel that they don't wanna admit it's just nostalgia talking because nostalgia got overused so much that it's now been used as a counter-argument of those wanting to gloat about how better gaming was in the past. So they would use "soul" because it's a much stronger word to describe rather than "nostalgic".

Forza Horizon 6's Touge made me realize that Nakazato was right.

I'm getting slaughtered in Togue races from players who are not drifting. Read the forums as well ss the subreddit and everyone is saying the same thing, "Well, of course grip is better. You lose a lot of speed drifting."

I was surprised that I wasn't the only one who was curious. Initial D pretty much made me think drifting is good, but what Nakazato said was true. Lol

Everyone remembers Live 14 was bad, but imo, Live 07 is definitely the worst basketball game ever made.

I just recently played this on the PS3 and my god, this is definitely the worst basketball game I have ever played. Live 14 looks bad, but it was much more functional compared to Live 07. Live 07 definitely is the example of EA wanting to make the game look pretty and call it a day, but I argue that it looks worse than 2K7. Bugs and glitches all over the court with players jittering around, frozen, and clippimg through each other and even the rim. The ball easily gets knocked over and players are trying their best to pick it up but it'll phase through their hands...

What is this game?

I paid $3 for this copy and somehow, I feel like I got robbed. How the fuck did this game even released?! I think this was the game that really damaged the Live franchise while Elite and Live 14 were the final nail in the coffin. I'm more shocked that they didn't end Live after this one because this is just a really bad basketball game and a bad video game, period...

Do skins really bother you guys that much?

I have friends who play COD and are happy that they get to play as Robocop, the Ninja Turtles, even Beavis & Butthead as it what keeps them playing the game and funny to see these characters holding weapons. I never really cared for 95% of the skins and it never irks me when I see someone using them, but for some reason, this community will never stop talking about how much skins "ruined" Call of Duty, and it has been just as bad as those who keep saying SBMM also "ruined" COD when both of these are far from the truth.

Why do skins bother you guys so much? I see the whole, "milsim/realisim" thing being thrown around but COD's multiplayer never was realistic, nor heavily themed around milsim when you have games from the past decade having silly and weird looking skins for the weapons as well as having football, rainbow, and weed skins for your soldier in Ghosts. Not to mention that you can play as a cowboy, a crow, a CLOWN, as well as a GINGERBREAD MAN, in Advnace Warfare.

What I am saying is that the skins have always been pretty silly. From having silly skins in weapons to having them on your soldier and operators. I just find it weird that people are making a big issue about it now, when we have had this over a decade ago and I don't see many people were having an issue with it.

Would you guys stop whining about the NintenDeen posts?

This is the r/nintendogrifting subreddit, where we point out and talk about grifters who are slandering Nintendo every way they can and NintenDeen is one of the very good examples of this. The NintenDeen comments I have read are mostly fair and no one is outright harassing or speak in appropriately about him, but we do have every right to call him out on mosy of his points about Nintendo.

I don't understand why some of you guys are annoyed over the Deen discussions when that's the point of this subreddit. If you're annoyed then just ignore them or leave the sub? Maybe some users here are new to the sub or wanna try to reduce or dismiss valid criticisms these grifters get as hating on them when most of us aren't doing that.

Shame that this game got such a bad rep from the community.

Might be reaching, but I feel Horizon 5 was doomed ever since it was revealed that Mexico was our next destination. From what I remember, this pissed off a lot of fans because Japan was begged and hyped up for a longtime and I believe many were fed up with not getting what they wanted. When the game released, everyone was complaining about how empty the map looks, yet go all nostalgia on Horizon 1 even though that game is very empty retrospectively.

I have had fun memories with 5 and I will have great memories with 6, but it sucks that 5 will forever be remembered as a mid Horizon game, even though we had great features like the Creative Lab, Realms, and the Rally Expansion. I get that after the fourth game, 5 feels more or less the same, but what makes 6 immediately better than 5? Because it's in Japan? I dunno.

What males a racing game arcade/simcade/simulation?

I've seen games like Grid, Project Gotham Racing, or Forza Horizon being thrown around as either arcade or simcade games while Motorsport and Gran Turismo gets called simcade or simulation. I always thought it depends on how accessible the games play as if anyone can pick up and play, as well as how will they punish the player from bumping into walls, going off road, or drifting corners.

I always thought PGR and Grid were more arcade with some sim elements to them, but doesn't make them simcade racers due to how easy they are to pick up and play, while Forza Horizon is simcade, leaning a bit to arcade as while it's a lot easier to control the vehicles, it isn't a walk in the park as there's enough simulation in there than can make vehicles slide when braking or loose control when making sharp turns. While Grid also punishes the player for losing traction and stability, I do find it more forgiving when a player attempts to brake as well the game being generous to recover from slipping unless you're playing Grid Autosport, to where I can say that game is more simcade than the other Grid games.

But I'm trying to find a good way to try to sort these games out but it seems like everyone has different opinions on what racing gamenis considered one of the three types.

For years, I never was interested in simulation sports games and have avoided Madden for a very long time, but this time, after trying a trial out, I decided to purchase Madden 26 for the first time and I thought it was fun. Now, I still don't enjoy simulation sports games as I am someone who loves NFL Blitz or Tecmo Bowl, but this game has an Arcade setting as well as letting me mess with the sliders, I find myself enjoying the game a lot more than I thought.

I have heard about this series and how much people don't enjoy the games nowadays and we'll, I picked this game up for $14 mainly because I was curious and I don't think it's that bad. I only play Exhibition with my favorite team, so I guess that's not a problem as I only care for one mode. Maybe the others are pretty mediocre, but Exhibition is very fun. Maybe it's my first Madden, so I wouldn't understand unless I play the older ones, but I am mainly in it for the Exhibition. I am curious about picking up College Football 26 and see if that's any fun as well.

But I dunno, as my first Madden, it plays fine.

Was curious to watch this show as I saw both David and Tamela Mann starring and that makes me very excited. 4 episodes in and I'm just...what the heck are we doing here?

How are we 4 episodes in and have all of the characters standing in one place all day? Sure, in episode 3, we see Vinny's room, but most of this show so far has only been the main lobby, and it's been joke after joke, dragging the jokes longer than they needed and it feels like the plot is very slowly moving forward and it's starting to get boring. Not sure what Tyler Perry was thinking when making the pilot and episode start out like this.

Does it get better? What episode does Mr. Brown and Cora start to appear in? The theme song is very catchy, but this show so far is kinda buns...
