Bulking Gains

Before and after pictures of my bulk.

It's around 5 years in between the pictures.

I did not bulk all the time but intermittently.

But definitely, I managed to increased by food intake a lot more. At one point of time, I am eating almost 4000-5000 calories a day for a previous of 2 months but has since cut down

Still, diet wise I am eating a lot more than when I started off as my appetite has grown and I don't struggle to eat anymore. I am now at the point where I need to tell myself not to overeat ;)

My diet when bulking

  1. Breakfast
  2. Branch
  3. Lunch (large)
  4. Meal before gym
  5. Dinner (Large)
  6. Supper

Bulking weight gain

Here's a post of me before and after I bulk up.

The first pic was 2 Years and 7 Months ago and the current pic is now.

In between the pics, I have gained more than 20kg.

So how did I gain weight? Basically I just eat a lot. Also because as I went through puberty, my appetite increased and I am always hungry lol.

I also gym 4 times a week. I will eat a very filling meal one hour before gym and a large meal immediately after. And also take supper on gym days. So it's basically lots of eating on gym days, filling myself up. I also used to be active in cardio before I bulk up but not now anymore. Now is just lifting and eating and rest and eat again.

For information, the shirt and pants in both photos are actually not the same pair. It's just the same design because it's my school uniform.

I have in fact outgrown 3 pairs of uniform since the first picture and the shirt and pants in the current picture are actually 4 size bigger.

I have also grown in height as I am also going thru puberty while bulking.

Anyway I am happy with my gains and I am still continue bulking to get bigger.

M/24/3.5 Years/60kg to 85kg/178cm Bulking Transformation

(Background)

Previously I was lanky and athletic and I do lots of cardio like badminton, running, soccer and gym occasionally.

However I had always dreamed of experiencing a change in physique from lanky to strong and big but did not take any action due to various reasons.

The moment came around 3 years ago when I suffered an ankle sprain which out me out of action from badminton and cardio.

Due to the not doing cardio for a few months, I gained some weight (around 4kg) because of inactivity and I actually liked my heavier self.

That gain actually encouraged me and so I decided why not bulk up even more and get really big?

From then on, I started lifting weight more often and eating huge portions and have more frequent meals.

Very soon, I begin to pile on weight.

(Diet)

For diet wise, I alternative between bulking and maintenance. So it's like 2 months bulk, 3 months maintain etc.

Most of the days i did not count my calories because it's too troublesome to do so but I just know I eat A LOT.

And since I was studying for the last 3 years, I got lots of time to eat so I can always grab myself something to eat in between lectures.

I also eat supper before sleep almost every day.

It also helps that my current GF is a small eater so I will always help her finish her portion of food she cannot finish eating.

But that is fine because it's win-win, since I am bulking and I love to eat and my appetite has also increased by a lot compared to when I started and I get hungry really easily now.

I really enjoy bulking because it gives me the excuse to like a pig.😭

I actually tracked my calories everyday for the last 2 weeks, since I am now in bulking phrase just to get an estimate of how much calories I eat every day in a week when I am in bulking mode so yeah, below is typically how much calories I eat when bulking:

Wed: 5536 calories

Thu: 4708 calories

Fri: 5447 calories

Sat: 4834 calories

Sun: 4411 calories

Mon: 4455 calories

Tue: 4589 calories

Wed: 3018 calories

Thu: 4321 calories

Fri: 4672 calories

Sat: 3733 calories

Sun: 2344 calories

Monday: 3580 calories

Tuesday: 4553 calories

\* These are more conservative estimates because I may not be able to get the exact calories amount as I used fitness pal or Chat GPT to obtain the calories of the food I take. So it may not be 100% accurate but more or less there.

(Training)

For exercise, I lift weights about 3-4 times every week. Since I am into gaining size rather than muscle definition, I am not so strict on exercise.

I will eat a huge meal around 1 hour before gym and another huge meal immediately after gym. Yeah, I eat much more on gym days;)

Typically i do as below:

Day 1:

Overhead Shoulder press 4 sets/12 reps

Triceps pulldown 4 sets/15 reps

Lateral raises side and rear 4 sets/15 reps

Pull ups 20

Day 2

Chess press 4 sets/10 reps

Pull ups 20-25 per

Day 3

Overhead Shoulder press 4 sets/12 reps

Triceps pulldown 4 sets/15 reps

Lateral raises side and rear 4 sets/15 reps

Pull ups 25

Squats: 3 sets/10 reps

(Other exercise - as and when I feel like)

Biceps curl

Dips

Barbell rows

I also totally gave up on cardio and so currently only lift weight.

(Current Situation)

Fast forward 3 years and here I am now. I have gained 25kg. Bigger and stronger than ever.

Probably some of you would surely have noticed I gain some fats, which I obviously did and advise me to cut or get leaner but hey, my goal is to get bigger as I was previously skinny

Remember: More Gains=More Assets=More Money 💰

PS: Still eating like a pig 🐷 and in the progress of getting bigger

Chest gains - Small win

Just sharing my small victory.

I realized my chest is starting to take shape after starting to go to the gym and eat more.

I am not yet big or muscular or whatsoever but at least is a good start.

Bulking Transformation from 60kg to 86kg

I previously made a post of my transformation but that post was with clothes.

I am making another post now adding some photo without clothes for a better comparison.

Starting Weight: 60kg

Current weight: 86kg

Height:.178cm

Current age: 24 Male

Timeframe: 3.5 years

(Background)

Previously I was lanky and athletic and I do lots of cardio like competitive badminton, running, soccer and also gym occasionally.

However I had always dreamed of experiencing a change in physique from lanky to big size but did not take any action due to various reasons.

The moment came around 3 years ago when I suffered an ankle sprain which put out me out of action from badminton and cardio.

Due to not doing cardio for a few months, I gained some weight (around 4kg) because of inactivity and I actually liked my heavier self.

And since I was studying for the last 3 years, I got lots of time to eat so I can always grab myself something to eat in between lectures. The breaks are long so I have time to eat a lot.

I also eat supper before sleep almost every day.

It also helps that my current GF is a small eater so I will always help her finish her portion of food she cannot finish eating, and my weight gain accelerated because of her ;)

But that is fine because it's win-win, since I am bulking and I love to eat and my appetite has also increased by a lot compared to when I started and I get hungry really easily now.

I really enjoy bulking because it gives me the excuse to like a pig.😭

(Training)

For exercise, I lift weights about 3-4 times every week. Since I am into gaining size rather than muscle definition, I am not so strict on which exercise to perform. I mainly focus on arms and chest.

I will eat a huge meal around 1 hour before gym and another even larger meal immediately after gym. Yeah, I eat much more on gym days;)

Typically i do as below:

Day 1:

Overhead Shoulder press 4 sets/12 reps

Triceps pulldown 4 sets/15 reps

Lateral raises side and rear 4 sets/15 reps

Pull ups 20-25 per

Day 3

Overhead Shoulder press 4 sets/12 reps

Triceps pulldown 4 sets/15 reps

Lateral raises side and rear 4 sets/15 reps

Pull ups 25

Squats: 3 sets/10 reps

(Other exercise - as and when I feel like)

Biceps curl

Dips

Barbell rows

I also totally gave up on cardio and so currently only lift weight.

(Current Situation)

Fast forward 3 years and here I am now. I have gained 25kg. Bigger and stronger than ever.

Diet wise, I don't really have to "bulk" anymore as my appetite naturally increases and I get hungry easily. So, I naturally eat much more than before, even during maintenance.

For Bulking months, I will eat till I am really full but it seems now that it takes more and more food to make me full.

Probably some of you would surely have noticed I gain some fats, which I obviously did and advise me to cut or get leaner but hey, I really don't mind. I am all for the GAINS.

Remember: More Gains=More Assets=More Money 💰 , just joking

PS: Still eating like a pig 🐷 now and in the progress of getting bigger

I will also make another before/after post when I gain even more size haha

24M Before/After (Shirtless)

Hi, this is an addition to my previous post of me before and after bulking.

This one is shirtless haha.

Copy of the previous content:

Before and after of me bulking up to get bigger and stronger.

What do you think of my transformation? Is it noticeable?

Basically I used to be lanky but athletic. I am active in cardio so my calories expenditure is high.

However 3 years ago I wanted to experience a change in physique from lanky to strong and big.

So I decided to start lifting weight more often. I basically stopped cardio and only lift weights.

I also eat a lot more food especially carbs such as rice and noodles.

Since I am also studying, I have lots of time to eat and I will always grab myself some food during the numerous breaks in between lectures. I also snack when I am studying.

Having a small eater GF also help me gained weight faster as I always help her to finish her food.

But I really don't mind as I am bulking to get bigger.

As such, my appetite also increased a lot. I am basically eating like a pig nowdays 😭

Fast forwards 3 years and here I am now. Bigger and stronger than ever.

I also took the before and after pictures here with the same shirt for a better comparison ;)

Ps: I still plan to get bigger and stronger. It's still a work in progress

[21]-[24] Skinny to Strong

Before and after of me bulking up to get bigger and stronger.

Not sure is this considered a "glow up"?

What do you think of my transformation? Is it noticeable?

Basically I used to be lanky but athletic. I also played badminton competitively so I need to stay lean and agile and fast.

However always wanted to experience a change in physique from lanky to strong and big.

The moment came 3 years ago when I suffered an ankle sprain which out me out of action from badminton and cardio.

So I decided it's now time to bulk up and get big and strong.

I started eating like alot and lift weights more often.

Since I am also studying, I have lots of time to eat and I will always grab myself some food during the numerous breaks in between lectures. I also snack when I am studying.

Having a small eater GF also help me gained weight faster as I always help her to finish her food.

But I really don't mind as I am bulking to get bigger and I think it's even better.

My GF will also encourage me to eat more so I am always so stuffed from eating too much after meals with her.

Fast forwards 3 years and here I am now. I have gained 26kg. Bigger and stronger than ever. My appetite has also increased by a lot compared to when I started and I get hungry really easily now. I am basically eating like a pig nowdays 😭

I am now much stronger but much heavier and less agile. Completely given up on cardio and badminton too

I also took the before and after pictures here with the same shirt for a better comparison ;)

Ps: I still plan to get bigger and stronger and become a beefcake.

It's still a work in progress
