Electronic ear protection with music

I've got Daisy the calming band and on top of that I've put electronic ear protection (that I normally wear to the shooting range) and I'm playing relaxation music through it. Seems to be working pretty well!

They're festive, man!

We thought it would be festive if they were appropriately sized.

They're festive, man! That's a festival!

M/50/5'9.5 [198lbs>161lbs=37lbs lost] | 5 months | Still a few more lbs to go

For the last 8 years, I hit the gym consistently but dreaded looking in the mirror. Bad eating habits caught up to me, pushing me to 198 lbs. I’m down to 161 lbs and sitting around 12-13% body fat. I might not be quite as lean as I was in my 20's, but I’m stronger, healthier, and gunning for 10% body fat.

All natural. No roids. No TRT. Just consistency and determination.

Turned [50] this year and got up to 198lbs. Heaviest I've been in a long time.

Told myself I needed to get back in shape like I was back in my 20's (pic where i'm lifting my shirt to show off my abs). Started in February at 198lbs and pretty out of shape. Now down to 161lbs and still want to get down to 10% body fat. Still working on it. Almost there.

In the episode before the finale, Tom says, he's not bald, he just cut it this way. I think LD would says Tom's not part of the bald community.

Is Tom part of the bald community? I think LD would beg to differ. Edit: Forgot to mention Tom is the head judge on the show Top Chef.

Almost got scammed. Close call.

I own a small business and happened to be at home resting from a lower back injury when I received a call from the GM, who rarely ever calls. He tells me that the local electric company contacted him and told us that our electric was scheduled to be cut today unless they receive payment. They left a number for me to return their call. I explained that my account is not past due. I have 5 separate utility bills and all of them are current. They said that my last payment didn't post correctly and it was a glitch in their system but if I don't pay today, they'd be out there to shut off the electric. I have an extended stay hotel with over 100 guests, including long-term guests with families, so I was panicking for my guests. They can't be without power. Long story short, they clone the number of the local electric company when they call so it seems legit. I was very close to making payment when my GM called and said after thinking about it, it seems like a scam. Make sure you call the number you have on you bill to verify if you receive any threats about cutting your electric off. Has anyone gotten any similar calls? Be careful out there.

Anyone mad because their baby jerks back n forth at low speeds?

I have had this bike for nearly 2 years and I was just living with it. But I asked Gemini and it literally resolved the issue! NO MORE JERKINESS AT LOW SPEEDS!!!

This is what you do:

To force your 2021 Goldwing DCT to relearn its clutch bite points, you need to trigger the PCM Clutch Initialize Learning Procedure.

Before you start, ensure the bike is parked on the center stand on a level surface, the engine is fully warmed up to normal operating temperature, and the transmission is in Neutral.

Step-by-Step DCT Reset Procedure

  1. Turn Ignition ON: Turn the ignition switch to ON (do not start the engine).
  2. Hold and Toggle: Press and hold the D switch on the right handlebar. Turn the ignition switch OFF, then turn it back ON while continuing to hold the D switch.
  3. Enter the Code: Release the D switch. Within 5 seconds, press the following sequence exactly: D → D → N → D → N.
  4. Check the Dash: Look at the gear indicator on your display. The D and S characters should turn on or flash together.
  5. Start the Engine: Start the engine and let it idle. Do not touch the throttle.
  6. Let it Learn: The D and S indicators will flash slowly. As the computer forces the clutches to find their bite points, you will hear the engine RPM dip slightly and hear the transmission clicking.
  7. Finish: After a minute or two, the D and S lights will turn off, and the normal N (Neutral) indicator will reappear. Turn the ignition OFF to save the calibration.

Troubleshooting the Reset

  • If the lights blink rapidly: The bike's engine oil temperature is either too cold or too hot. Ride the bike for 10 minutes to normalize the temperature and try again.
  • If it fails to initiate: Ensure your side stand is completely retracted. The procedure will fail if the kickstand safety switch is engaged.
