Sure, you might find schmucks like me that make presets or utility cards or extensions that add some temporary flavor but in the end it's just not the same as it was. It's not because your imagination fizzled out or because the llm chat got worse, or even because you're not using the right tools etc.

I think it's because the truth was it was never good. It was new, fresh, and exciting as an emerging technology but with great limitations. But no matter how much instruction we give it, it will never write with feeling an emotion like a real author. And the longer we use it, the more many of us realize that.

It's fine as a one on one chat if you accept it as face value that you're chatting with ai. But as an immersive story it just doesn't compete with the soul of Bradbury, the humor of Vonnegut, or the suspense of Poe.

I may try to modify Leonardo a bit as one last effort of creativity in hopes he may help you find new life in ai rp, but I just can't find the thrill any more.

Edit: I have been made aware that some people's setups are ignoring character notes especially if the new card is exported then imported so if this is an issue redownload the file (now available as .png or .json), a fix has been implemented so the preset is written at the bottom of the description field instead of charscter notes so it will be written/read every time in all formats and versions no matter what. Note, that the preset is in the json but not being read by some setups etc. This fix will solve all issues.

Every time I open an app or browser my NordVPN is always "connecting" and I have to select a new location so it will reconnect. Is there a reason it's not staying connected?

Is the thrill gone? Has ai chat peaked? Was it ever good? LLM rp chat is like heroin. You keep chasing the high you got from the first few months but it never happens again.

My last post was poorly worder. My bad. I have no issue with supporting legit creators that do actual work, but we need to stop encouraging people that use ai to write generic slop then ask for donations. It only inspires more slop, not quality content.

Final Release: Introducing Leonardo. The creator card that creates it's very own preset for each card it creates, and also features a randomizer function to create a random world/scenario card. Here is an example of what it does, and what random can do.

So, if GLM 5.2 could stop displaying reasoning and thinking that would be great. My settings have displaying reasoning off, and my preset reiterates it, yet here we are.
