My Mom Has Made Me Hate All Women

I’ve been dealing with this overwhelming mix of sadness and anger, which mainly comes from how my mom acts (especially towards my dad). For years, watching the way my mom treats my dad has caused me the most resentment and anger in my life. My mom constantly belittles, insults, and ignores me and my dad. She gets angry at us over minor issues and completely shuts us down whenever we speak to her. My dad is also constantly blamed for things that are not his fault. My mom also has no problem in criticizing my dad in my presence. My mom‘s change in mood also makes everyone in the entire house feel as if we must tread very very lightly around her. Whenever we to explain our takes on an issue or offer her some criticism, she ignores it and sometimes labels it as misogyny. Living around her feels like not trying to step on a land mine and it has filled me with so much resentment. It has also gotten to the point where it has affected how I view almost all women. Social media has not helped either. Once the feelings hate were already there in my mind, I found myself paying attention to posts and vids that seem to confirm them. It has made it even harder to separate my mom's behavior from my perception of most women. I am kind of scared of posting this because I’m worried people will call me an incel/misogynist or how “it’s valid for her cause she’s a woman“ (that is an actual argument I’ve seen online). Despite that, I felt the urge to write this because I’m tired of carrying it around in silence.

Just need someone to talk to

I am a student (M18) and I am struggling with a lot of pressure and have not been able to tell anyone about it. I am not in any immediate danger but I feel exhausted, panicked and hopeless about the future. I just need to talk to someone, DMs are open
