Has YoLink bricked any of their products by discontinuing support for them?

I want to buy leak sensors and the YoLink valve controller would be even better than just an alarm, but after D-Link discontinued support for the sensors I owned and bricked them, I'm hesitant to jump into another platform dependent on a company's servers to function.

Help me choose a Mk IV 22/45 to match the can

My LGS cut me a great deal on a CGS Hydra SS. I've been wanting a Mk IV 22/45 for a while, and would use it as a more or less permanent host for this can (I have other .22 cans as well).

All my other guns are "tacticool" (black, FDE, etc) and I want something more fun and whimsical for a change.

Tell me your favorite color combos to go with a can like this, or better yet, show me (please).

I really like the look of the TK Tandemized Mk IVs with red accessories, but am told by friends to stick with Volquartsen for my upgrades, and feel like there's a better color than a black/red combo to match the can.

I prefer the Halo charging grip to Volquartsen's anyway, so I'll probably at least add that. Also, a pox on all the accessory manufacturers for not making lefty thumb ledges.

Just a little something I was thinking about while watching someone buy an HK45.

(It was me. I was the someone.)

Also, needing a new piston for my Osprey because HK uses 16x1LH is annoying.

MOS slide on a non-MOS frame?

I've got a 43X with a Crimson Trace 443LG on it, but didn't get the MOS at the time (mistake, I know).

I shoot GSSF with it, and it's annoying to take the CT off for every match, not to mention a carry piece without a red dot on it is a timewarp back to the 90s.

I'm thinking of killing two birds with one stone by buying a 43x MOS and swapping the slides, so I'll have a bone stock 43x for GSSF, and a carry ready pistol.

From what I understand, there are no differences between the two slides, correct?

Sell my FNP and buy an FNX, or keep both?

I've got an FNP45 Tactical that I adore, but I want the ability to buy more magazines (not to mention the ability to buy replacement parts). I don't need the money and my safe isn't overflowing yet, so I don't have an urgent need to get rid of the FNP. My inclination as a result is to just keep it and add to the collection rather than swap one out for the other, but I also don't *need* to hold onto a gun that I'm unlikely to ever shoot again (why would I once I have the FNX) unless it had some collector's value. So, I guess the question is, what are the odds that a used FNP45 Tactical would ever become a collector's item?

Cerakote FFL in the DMV?

Does anyone have an FFL in the DMV area (or nearby) that does Cerakote work? I want to have one of my suppressors done.

Is there any site like River of Guns that's better updated?

It seems River of Guns doesn't check most forums and stores these days, and I'd love to find a similar aggregator if anyone knows of one.

Has anyone replaced the USB ports with USB-C?

Related to my last post about the USB ports disconnecting, has anyone replaced their USB port module next to the AC adapter with one or two USB-C ports?

USB Port frequently disconnects in Gen 2

This is an issue I have in my 2017 and my friend has in her 2018. We have both used a variety of cables and different phones.

While Android Auto is running, the phone will disconnect for a few seconds at a time, seemingly at random. I just want to know if there's a way to make this minor (and occasionally greater, when using navigation and close to a turn) annoyance finally stop.
