so I just saw First Shadow and am going back in Oct because holy hell. I have so many questions.

my biggest is about the spider legs that come out of Henry’s back. My first thought was projection behind him, considering that he turns around at the end and there is no visible bulge on his back. But there is a part where they curl around his chest, and that seems incredibly difficult to do only through lighting tricks. My best hypothes is that he has some sort of physical pack on that he drops into an open trap behind him before turning? I have no idea. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance!

hey!! so i was listening to ‘let the sunshine in’ from hair and the two parts ”we starve, looking at each other short of breath” and “singing space songs on my spiderweb sitar” gave me CHILLS. don’t know how to describe it but im looking for songs with this kind of morbid vibe rhythmically? it was so haunting and those two lines just got me. the music under the vocals just had this kind of dread to them. no clue if that made any sense but if you have a song that sounds like this, let me know!!

the story!!

this is very flexible, but the idea is a story in a fantasy world featuring either your average school to train spellcasters, or one a little more in depth. as an animal lover and equestrian, I had a school idea of a school that either trains equestrians or dragon riders, and (fourth wing style) the dragon/horse you bond connects to the kind of magic you gain.
