What song should I sing?

I need a song to do for a major event at a drama academy I’ve studied at. must be musical theatre and I have a pretty wide range (though anything below what a tenor would do is probably too low, and the highest song I can sing is Think of Me). my two immediate thoughts were If It’s True (Hadestown) and I’m Alive (Next to Normal) but I’d love suggestions! they must be PG.

Is anyone else unimpressed by Reeve Carney?

I saw Hadestown with Jordan Fisher a few years back and fell in love. listening to the cast album, I liked the music much less. I blamed it on the fact that maybe it was just the full experience that drew me in and the music alone wasn’t doing it. last night I went to Great Gatsby and Reeve Carney just totally took me out of it. his acting was nothing special and his voice was really irritating. I realized that he is Orpheus in the Hadestown cast album and that’s why it wasn’t hitting the same. I looked him up and was really surprised by how many leads he has gotten. does anyone else find his voice unpleasant or is this just a me thing?
