At this point, just give the Raimi Spider-Man games license to a game publisher again
I absolutely love the Raimi Spider-Man universe, and I just watched a video about the canceled Spider-Man 4 game. Obviously, the game never happened because the movie itself got canceled, but apparently Spider-Man 4 was supposed to be published by Radical Entertainment, the same studio behind Prototype.
And honestly, some of the beta concepts for the game look lowkey really cool.
Now that we’ve had genuinely great swinging physics in Spider-Man games since 2018 thanks to Insomniac, and they made it even better in 2023, I genuinely think the best move would be to just give the Raimi Spider-Man game license to a good game publisher.
Because if we’re probably never getting another movie with Tobey, MJ, and the rest of the Raimi cast, at least give us a game.
And I honestly think it could be a massive success. You already have some of the scrapped concepts from Spider-Man 4, like Vulture and his daughter, which could give you a pretty interesting plot for Peter.
Imagine they just announce Hunt for Ben Solo at D23 this week…
The internet would explode if the cancellation alone caused this many rants. Imagine how insane the hype get if they actually announce that.
Will we ever get a proper Dante’s Inferno movie?
I know there are amazing directors out there who could truly capture the essence of The Divine Comedy, especially Inferno, and turn it into an incredible blockbuster with the right budget.
Honestly, I think it could even be modernized. Imagine Dante as a character living in the present day who loses Beatrice for whatever reason and ends up descending into Hell to find her. That could make the story more accessible to mainstream audiences than setting it entirely in the Middle Ages.
Or they could keep it completely faithful to the original. Either way, I’d love to see a proper big budget adaptation. I feel like the concept has so much potential if it’s handled by the right filmmaker.
After the crazy start of the new Spider-Man trilogy with BND, where do you think the story goes next?
I watched Spider-Man: Brand New Day on release day yesterday, and I was completely happy. It was such a great movie. It was everything I wanted from Brand New Day and more, and I ain’t even joking.
The ending was pretty open. I mean, Peter is obviously going to be busy with Doomsday and Secret Wars first, but what do you think Spider-Man 4 will look like? Where do you think the story goes from there?
Do you think the way they handled Peter and MJ in Brand New Day was good so Peter can move on and find a new girl, or should they keep rebuilding Peter and MJ? And what about Ned?
Do you think we’ll finally get an Osborn in the future? Or maybe a Spider-Man and Punisher team-up movie like Deadpool & Wolverine? Maybe they’ll introduce Miles? Or Venom? Or even Man-Spider as a mutation hahaha
What movies do you consider absolute masterpieces?
I’m talking about those movies that completely pull you into their world and keep you hooked from beginning to end.
For me, The Shawshank Redemption is one of them. I watched it for the first time recently, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it until late that night.
Another one is Chinatown with Jack Nicholson. It’s one of those movies where you’re constantly asking yourself, “What’s going to happen next? Where is this all leading?”
What are some movies that gave you that same feeling?
Charles Soule’s Comments About His Upcoming The Fall of Kylo Ren Comic Series Are Very Interesting…
(It could mean that our support would show Disney that we want more Ben Solo/Kylo Ren) Maybe Adam Driver is still involved in the production of these comics somehow
Which of these 2 sabers fits cal the best ?
Hot take: This is the best blue lightsabers have ever looked (So crisp)
Do you think any of Luke’s Jedi students survived the night the temple was destroyed, and could we see them in future Star Wars projects?
The biggest question is that we still don’t know how many students Luke actually had. In the flashbacks, we only see a handful of dead students, and the three who followed Ben Solo were eventually killed by Ben and the Knights of Ren.
That makes me think there could have been other students who survived the attack and went into hiding during the reign of the First Order, similar to how some Jedi survived Order 66.
The recent Starfighter leaks also mention a Jedi Temple, and some rumors suggest it might not even belong to Rey. If that’s true, could surviving students from Luke’s academy be connected to it?
My Theories About Star Wars: Starfighter After the New Leaks
I’ve been thinking about the recent leaks, and here are a few of my theories.
Timeline
I think the idea of the movie taking place 5 years after Episode IX was probably just an early pitch that eventually changed. My guess is that things shifted once Dave Filoni became more involved with the project.
I have a feeling the movie could actually take place around 50- 100 years after Episode IX. That brings me to my next point.
Cade
The new leak says Ryan Gosling’s character is named Cade. On top of that, the officially released images make him look surprisingly similar to Cade Skywalker from Star Wars: Legacy (Legends).
If that’s intentional, I think it would be a smart move. Setting the story much further into the future would let Lucasfilm move away from the sequel era while still keeping a Skywalker at the center of the story. A fresh start with a new generation.
What’s also interesting is that Cade Skywalker eventually walked away from the Jedi path and became more of a Han Solo-type smuggler. If the rumors about Gosling’s character being a Han Solo-style lead are true, that lines up surprisingly well with Cade’s Legends storyline.
The Jedi Order
Another reason I don’t buy the “5 years later” gap is the Jedi Order itself.
I just don’t see Rey rebuilding a fully functioning Jedi Order with trained Jedi, a temple, and an organized structure in only five years. That feels way too soon. Even Luke’s Order in canon was relatively small before it fell.
If the movie is set many decades or even a century later, it would make much more sense. We could finally see what Rey’s Jedi Order eventually became after generations of growth, rather than seeing it in its earliest stages.
Obviously this is all just speculation, but I think a setting much farther in the future actually fits the leaks better than the reported 5 year gap.
I wish we would also get a series from this Visions story
Since I first watched The Duel I instantly fell in love with the idea of a Ronin who is neither good nor truly evil and who seems to hunt Dark Side users or Sith and collect their kyber crystals it is such a cool concept and I would love to see more of it
What is your fav saber here?
They should’ve kept him alive just for Adam Driver’s “Dad” line and that facial acting alone
He’s an amazing actor
Is the X-Wing book series worth reading? (especially if I prefer Force focused stories)
I’m really getting into (post Endor) Legends novels right now and just finished the Thrawn Trilogy. I loved it and I’m trying to figure out where to go next in the timeline, especially with all the different series like X-Wing, Jedi Academy, etc.
