I’m working on my first one-shot comic. What do you guys think?

It’s far from finished, but this is what I have so far. The working title is “Pursuit.”

Hey, i’m working on my first one-shot. The working title is “PURSUIT”

It’s far from finished, but this is what I have done. Let me know what you think! What does my art style say about me?

Hey, this is that one-shot I was asking about making. “PURSUIT”

I asked a little while ago about left to right vs right to left. You guys helped clear things up, so I figured I’d show you my progress. Please let me know what you think!

At what point do you stop being a beginner?

I’ve been drawing for a few years, and only recently,(8 months), started taking it seriously, i.e. studying, getting feedback from others, etc.

I think I’ve made progress, and am starting to make stuff that I feel is genuinely good, but I also still feel like a beginner.

At what point do you “graduate?”

This feels like a Zach bit.

My buddy asked me to draw a banana peeling a monkey, and halfway through I realized that Zach would absolutely torment my precious little tiny tot Tomar™️ with some impossible hypothetical about it.

Is it stupid to make a “right to left” read comic as a westerner?

I really only read manga, and so I think in “right to left” when storyboarding. I have a hard time doing it any other way. Is that wrong? I don’t really have a manga style, although many of my influences are Japanese.

I just don’t know whether I am overthinking it, or if it would be confusing for readers. Advice is appreciated, thank you.

Is my art style suitable for manga?

I’ve been studying and drawing a lot lately, and although I’m still a pretty new artist, (2 years), I’m getting to a point where I make stuff that I and others seem to enjoy.

I’m not sure I want to dip into the world of being a mangaka, but it would be fun to make something small, or even a one shot. I’d love to get some feedback and hear what you guys think.

Most of this stuff is not formatted for manga, but they are pretty good representations of my style. I’m open to criticism! Thanks!

I’m looking for feedback on my art style.

These are some of my most recent works, the last one is one is from a few months ago.

My philosophy on my art is that it should quickly communicate what I want the viewer to experience, while still being enjoyable to linger on and look for details.

I tend towards heavy lines, strong silhouettes, and strong contrast between light and shadow.

I have a natural bend to draw strange, grotesque, funny, silly, and creepy things, although I try to change it up pretty regularly so I don’t get locked into one frame of mind.

I have not been drawing for very long,(about 2 years), and I understand that I have a lot of room to grow, especially in technique, but I could use some feedback and advice.

Thank you!
