Can i use data only plans?

I have wifi at home and office, i just need connectivity when i go out in weekends.

I know that 548 plan for 84days is cheaper option that vi offers.
But can i use data only plans without any base plans or else any better alternative plan?

Area- Near Cafe Coffee Day, D'silva Layout

Every week i got to see this message for sure - Wi-Fi Update: There is an issue affecting Airtel Wi-Fi in your area. We know you rely on it every day, we are working to bring it back in the next 5-6 hrs.

Cancelled Airtel Wi-Fi, got the SMS, but it’s still active

I'm trying to disconnect my Airtel broadband and could use some advice from anyone who has gone through this recently.

I called customer care to place a disconnection request. After a really long call ,they finally agreed to cancel the plan. I did get a text message with a Service Request (SR) number stating that my plan will be suspended within 7 working days.

The issue is, it’s currently day 2 and the Wi-Fi is still working perfectly fine. Also, when I open the Airtel Thanks app, there is absolutely no update or status showing that a cancellation request is in progress. The account just looks completely normal and active.

Is this standard procedure for Airtel? I'm worried they might just drag this out, not disconnect it, and then hand me a bill for the next cycle.

Should I just wait out the 7 working days, or is there something else I should be doing to make sure it actually gets cancelled? Any help would be appreciated!

Apple Mail app not showing unread count badge for custom folder (sorted by rules)

I'm having an issue with the Apple Mail app. I set up specific rules to filter incoming emails into a separate custom folder. While the emails are moving into the folder correctly, the total unread message count badge on my home screen icon isn't updating or reflecting those unread messages.

It seems the app only counts unread emails that stay in the main Inbox, completely ignoring the ones sorted by rules into my custom folder.

Has anyone found a workaround to display overall unread badge count? Any advice is appreciated!

When will AMex reopens in India

I want to enter the Amex ecosystem, but sadly I can’t see applications open for cards like the SmartEarn or MRCC. Any idea when Amex will resume card applications in India? It’s been a long time, and I’m losing hope.
