I’ve taken 4 days of Follistim and Menopur and just had a check. They only see about 5 follicles in my right ovary and 3-4 in my left. The doctor said they’re still small and they could see more as they grow but I just feel defeated because on my first ultrasound when I started this process I had like 11 follicles in my right ovary and like 6 in my left. Now I’m wondering if it’s even worth it at this point.
I had my appointment today to see if I could get off my birth control and start the injections for an egg retrieval over the weekend. I just got a call that there is a cyst on my right ovary and my estrogen is 200. They said to keep taking the birth control and come in Monday to see if the cyst has shrunk and if my estrogen levels have come down. I’m really frustrated because I wanted to just get started and get the process done. Has this happened to anyone else? How long did it take for your levels to come down and the cyst to go away?

I’ve lost 70 pounds since April of last year, I got up to 12.5mg but I’m having a medical procedure in 3 weeks so I needed to go off the shots for a bit. My last shot was two weeks ago. I was really worried about gaining weight back, but so far I’ve been maintaining. As someone who has really struggled with weight the last 15 years, I’m EXTREMELY proud of myself. I’m maintaining at 160 pounds right now and I haven’t been this weight since I was a freshman in college about 15 years ago.
Side note: I literally don’t give a shit about weed and smoke a lot, but I live in a VERY legal state and I’m not complaining about my knee and CRPS and then talking about not seeing a doctor.
And laying on the ground with my dogs on my side is also hard because my hip digs into the ground now
I decided (and then got my husband on board) to freeze embryos. I just turned 32 and not sure if I want kids. I feel like I could possible decide to have children in my late 30s/early 40s so I want to take the biological clock pressure off myself. I’ve been a chronic weed user for a while (not looking for any comments about this, I’m aware and have my reasons) and I’m stopping now during the next few weeks. I’m worried for my mental health, (I already have an anxiety, adjustment disorder, ADHD and probably could get a PTSD or C-PTSD diagnosis from losing my 25 year old sister in a car accident last year) and for physical side effects. Any support is appreciated 🥰
Way less bombshells, less challenges, less dates, girls didn’t get the Heartrate challenge. This past season just seemed…bad. I know a big part of it was most couples wouldn’t explore, but they could’ve at least tried to make it a smidge more interesting.
