I want to talk about BF6 maps but everything that needs to be said is already said like 103204 times

Baffles the mind that 90% of the launch maps are either construction sites, meatgrinders, or colorless drabs

apart from Cairo and Iberian (and I believe the latter is not universally praised) I genuinely do not think there any serviceable launch maps, and I'm not really sold on half the post launch maps

I also do not believe Firestorm and Golmud were the best maps to import from earlier titles

I played all BF games on launch, apart from 2042 and 6 (started 6 2 months ago and played 2042 by Season 5 I believe, Spearhead season) and this is EASILY the worst launch map gallery we ever had, if "2042 had too much space" thing was an exaggeration

BF6 campaign is surprisingly bad

After shelling 100h on MP I thought hey, why not check out the Campaign for some skins and wow, its writing and worldbuilding is pretty bland. I can honestly understand building the game around vibes and MP, so its OK to have a shooting gallery-like Campaign I guess but wow is the worldbuilding lackluster.

I was expecting a bit of nuance with PAX-NATO dichotomy but Pax is like an unredeemable bad guy gallery? Dialogue is also horrible, game explains what little lore it has with out of place dialogue between characters etc etc. It also is very high on US-propaganda kool aid and I normally don't say stuff like this.

idk man I think NATO falling apart and Wagner-like fellers filling the gap in developing world was a really cool set up but the execution is really awful

back to MP I guess :)

[COD] Which CoD game for a LGBT+ buddy (homosexual male)?

Hi folks!

My buddy, who is a homosexual male, wants to hop back into shooters and is interested in CoD and asked me for my opinion. Knowing how he values supporting products and organisations that support his identity, I wanted to recommend a game that does just that!

so, the question is, which one is the gayest CoD game?

this can include homosexual leads, settings, characters etc - so I am guessing it is not WaW ahah. Also, hopefully one of the active ones, so not like AW and Ghost!

Fun fact: "Orospina", in Turkish, is like "Whorette/Bitchotto" in English

"Orospu" is a quite vulgar way to refer to the ladies of the night (you could get stabbed if you call someone a son of an orospu) so the name Orospina makes me giggle whenever the game engages with her

How much do top AMS Cafes make per month? (discussion and info/insight welcome)

I live close-ish to Cafe Hesp, and I'd say it is one of my favorite places in the city as its just super cozy and their limited albeit decent menu is quite tasty (they serve some mean fried chicken and huge-ass oysters)

in summer days they probably serve like 1000 people a day, 400 during colder days, but they also employ like at least 20 people a day I reckon during summer.

normally I kinda can get a sense of how much some places make across the globe but I just cant with top AMS cafes like Cafe Hesp. Think of the ones that are always full on weekends disregarding the weather and every day during summer.

I'd not be surprised if you told me either: my buddy owns/works in such a place and the owner(s) earn, after taxes and expenses, 7k/20k a month.

so, friends with HORECA experience, just how much to these top cafes make?

Turk here, you guys are pretty OK

I've been singing praises for the USMNT for some years now, 4 at least, and my points have been proven right

you guys adapt well and play decent football (wont say soccer sorry) - loved the post game interviews by the head honcho, doing what ours couldnt, especially when it comes to playing with 2 strikers

I do think you have a decent shot at semis, and I will be supporting you guys, its cool to see football (see above) taking root in US (36m viewers?? insane huh) and with Japan you guys are my favorite teams atm, its fun to watch USMNT

I feel like Bethesda is dragging the vibes down at this point with their inactivity

Every single event/show they refuse to reveal or talk about things people want yet nevertheless frustration/expectation builds up time after time, casting a shadow on titles that come after their mandatory FO76 and ESO trailers, and now the Doom stuff

a decent chunk of MS gamers are talking about this as opposed to what came after their section and to be honest as someone who wants to know more about F3R and TES6 I too don't remember much about the second half of the show

they should either give them their own space or just have them release a fucking teaser to wrap up this doomer cycle

What was RE fans' reactions to this game?

I'm playing it now and its pretty fine, although of course is a clear homage to RE4.

My understanding is TEW1-2 got released before REmakes and such so it must have felt like a nice blast from the past huh, at least thats how most God of War homages (Dante, Castlevania) felt like to me back in the day as an OG-GoW enjoyer

I'm 90% done with 1 and will play 2 before summer ends, I'm enjoying its vibes

Playing BF Conquest for like 16 years at this point and this is the first time I will most probably switch to a different game mode - Escalation is amazing!

Was never a Rush guy as I don't like it when modes allow for actions that cannot be undone, not saying its bad design but yeah was never a S&D nor Rush guy, so I always stuck with TDM/DOM for non-BF games and CNQ for BF but after seeing all the rage about Escalation on this sub I decided to give it a go and holy moly

its just really, really well done!!

I do not know if I can (nor whether should I) go back to CNQ, its just the better game mode I think and people revive/do objectives/repair etc way more in my experience, most probably due to the fact that mode communicates sense of urgency very well and its probably played by more immersed veterans
