Or maybe they ran out of gas or broke down or something

Need help with my first project

I'm looking to create my first Arduino project but I'm not sure what to start with.

My project will be a tool for ice hockey scorekeepers that I'm calling a "Scorekeeper Alert Light and Time Out Timer".

Basically it will have a light (probably a red LED strip inside a diffused 3D printed enclosure) that scorekeepers can use to alert the on-ice officials whenever there is a problem (incorrect lineup, problem with players in the penalty box, etc). I also want it to have a 2 digit 7 segment display to be used as a timer for time outs. It'll have 3 buttons to start 30/60/90 second timers, and I want it to sound a buzzer and activate the light when it hits 0.

Now I'm pretty handy, I can solder, 3d print stuff and code so I shouldn't need any or much help with the part where I actually build the thing. I'd like to know what you'd all recommend for what type of Arduino I should use, any specific 7 segment displays, the other electronics I need like the buzzer, if I need an expansion board, stuff like that. I know almost nothing about Arduino's. Thanks in advance for any help y'all can provide me

Pixel Buds Pro 2 buzzing and stopped working

Has this happened to anyone before? My earbuds today started buzzing in the right ear until I put them back in the case. Then it took me 15 minutes to get them to reconnect to my phone to play music again. Hasn't happened again in the past couple hours. Noise cancellation still worked, just wouldn't fully connect to my phone and play music for a while

Today I was given my 3rd pair of new gloves in 2 weeks

I got 2 pairs of new gloves a couple weeks ago bc my old ones had developed a couple holes. So I decided one would be for dirty work and one would be for carrying stuff. And then today for whatever reason my boss got even more new gloves, this time they're the heavy duty construction gloves. Getting absolutely spoiled over here

I had the most prestigious honor today

One of my favorite parts of the job, painting the rink. As a goalie I love doing the creases, and as a ref I love doing the faceoff dots. I don't get to do the crease very often though, I usually have to choose between doing the dots or crease bc they get painted at the same time, this time I picked the crease

As a fan of the Amerks and Ducks, and my personal number being 24, I felt obligated to get a pair of gloves and pants used by Wahlberg today

I bought the gloves and a laundry bag for myself at the Rochester Americans garage sale today, my girlfriend got me the pants as an early birthday gift

Despite the long wait, I'm pretty stoked about this coming back

No dings on the corners, edges or surface, just a minor amount of fray on corners (982/1000 or better on each corner). Centering took the hit at: 53L/47R, 52T/48B on the front and 40L/60R, 50T/50B on the back

Just got the grading results back on this absolutely beautiful card

0 corner, edge or surface dings. Only imperfection is the centering: 53L/47R, 52T/48B on the front and 40L/60R, 50T/50B on the back

Troy Terry just cost me 4 straight 1st round picks

I offered Troy Terry $9.8M without realizing he was an RFA 🙃

How would I go about creating the intricate designs on the bowl of the Stanley Cup? I'm using Alibre software

I created the base, bands, shoulder and collar last night. I'm gonna make the bowl tonight, would like some advice on how to model the fine details. This model will be for 3D printing at full scale

Are the Heatwave Visual Skynet Z87+ safety glasses worth the price? How's the fit and feel compared to Lazerface?

I'm looking at getting some good quality safety glasses for work since my workplace only wants to get us cheap $5 safety glasses that break at even the smallest drop. I'm curious about the comparison to Lazerface since those are my go to every day sunglasses, and I like the idea of the LPF system that Skynet has, the $115 price tag includes the full LPF replacement package

His top speed was 27.9 mph. Apples averaged a first ball speed of 12 mph (he launches the ball high and bounces it) and I average 18 mph with a top speed today of 22 mph. Woody averaged 23 mph by the end of our 3 games
