Tommorow at 1 pm Pakistan time I will receive my exam result.
The pressure is building up very quickly and aggressively. Today it has been extremely exhausting and agonizing. That lingering fear, that something may go very wrong tommorow, is killing me from inside. Many people have said to me to not overreact, not to cry, not to feel sad, as its just a grade. But, speaking is easy, I have cried, spent long hours studying, and some people atill have the absolute gall to say that I shouldn't feel sad if I get a bad grade. Im honestly tired, and I just want everything to end peacefully. Is there any amaal or duas I can do right now?
Want to ask something.
So right now, I use a 2% salicylic acid face wash and a moisturising face wash. Should I continue using both together or should I only use the salicylic acid one?
What the hell is even going on in the Subcontinent......
Neither men nor women are safe nowadays. Truly, a criminal has no gender and humanity.
Talk more about Rawalkot, it's high time now.
Horrific scenes coming out of Rawalkot. Instead of focusing on our neighbor's affairs, we should make ourselves more aware about the situation of our country. For how long will we see our brothers and sisters getting killed by this corrupt system and useless army, just for peacefully protesting?
Thoughts on hania amir's new insta post?
I personally think its just engagement bait. (btw memri tv banger goes hard🔥🔥)
Beauty is subjective, but I am yet to find the person who thinks I am beautiful.
Genuinely Sad
17M here.
My father always gets angry, starts swearing and scolding over the littlest of things. I am totally exhausted and frustrated now. I complain to my mother, cry in front of her but my crying is mocked as my mother says I am "acting like a girl", and that I'm supposed to tolerate all this. Every single time, there isn't a moment where my father isn't talking impolitely. I have tolerated it, but for how long? All this has completely messed up my mind and there is absolutely no one I can talk to about my emotions and thoughts. I have stopped telling anything personal to my parents, as I know it will be to no avail. What do I do?
Genuinely Saddened.

The night of the oppressed has arrived... The night of the oppressed has arrived...
The time of Asr has gone by, the camp of the Imam (AS) is engulfed in flames, the belongings of the family of the prophet have been looted, the veils of the mothers have been snatched, the women of the Ahlul Bayt have been dishonored, the headless bodies of the Imam and his companions, brothers, sons, have been trampled over, as even the toddlers mourn over them.
Kufa, Damascus, and the court of Yazid (LA) and Ibn Ziyad (LA), the heads of the martyrs, the women without their veils, even the head of the 6 month old Asghar, are paraded through every street. The family of the Prophet (SAW) has been dishonored, the beloved of the Prophet (SAW) has been killed by his own Ummah.
so, even if its just for today, remember the thirsty and hungry Hussein, Asghar, Akbar, Abbas, Sakina, Aun and Muhammad, Qasim, Muhammad and Ibrahim, when you drink water and eat food. Remember the mothers who had lost their everything, and try to kill the Yazid within yourself every day.

Something happened today and I want to ask a question.
As of right now, it is almost 1 pm on the 10th of muharram. At 12 o'clock, my family had decided to leave for the ashura procession. So, I said that we'll leave after I pray zuhrain. Hearing this, my father got a bit angry as if they stopped, the procession will have gotten very far away. But, I also didn't want to delay my prayer for the procession. I asked my father: "Is the ashura procession more important than prayer." To this he replied that the processions are more important to attend than prayer. Hearing this, I refused to come with them for the procession even though they were ready to compromise.
So, what I want to ask is:
Are these processions really more important than prayer? Are they really that important that I will have to pray at a later time instead of on time for these processions? Mind you, I'm struggling with my prayers and Im trying to pray on time so that I may become more steadfast in them.
The Sacred Caravan: Abu al-Fadl Abbas Ibn Ali.
کیا چین سے سوتے ہو دریا کے کنارے پر"
"چھوڑ آئے سکینہ کو ہو کس کے سہارے پر
Hazrat Abbas was the son of Imam Ali (AS) and Umm al-Banin and was the half brother of Imam Hussein (AS). Abu al-Fadl" is a title given to him which means "father of virtue". He was a very brave warrior like his father who also fought alongside him in the Battle of Siffin. He was also the Flag bearer for the Imam (AS)'s army in Karbala.
When the children could not bear the thirst anymore, and the cries of Al-Atash could be heard all around the Iraqi desert. Most of all, he could see the three year old daughter of the Imam, Sakina, not being able to bear the thirst. So, Abbas was only allowed to fetch water from the Euphrates, but not fight.
Abbas reached the river, got some water in his water-skin, but even then, he did not drink any water. As he was returning, the Umayyad army attacked him. They showered arrows at him. First, they severed his arm, then his other one, and then finally, his water-skin had also been pierced.
Water poured out as a severely injured Abbas called onto his Master, Hussein. He requested him not to show his body to Sakina as she would not be able to bear that pain. He then let out his dying wish, to see the Imam for one last time. His one eye was struck by an arrow, another blood-covered. The imam cleaned his eye so he could see. Then, Imam also requested him to call him brother for once, as Abbas called him master for all his life. To this he said: "Husayn my brother, my Imam".
Perhaps this is why on the 8th of Muharram, the Women chant:
"ہائے سکینہؑ، ہائے پیاس"
"O Sakina, the flag has reached the camp, but the flag bearer has not..."
