How can I deal with my gay flatmates?
Im 30yo gay refugee in the Netherlands living in LGBTQ unit in the asylum camp. We are 8 in one apartment and they are very kind and caring and let me use everything in the kitchen anytime.
Im the newest there and they are all sex workers and very loud and call each other with female names and behave and refer to themselves as women in sexual ways when we are alone to the point it become rebellious.
I am gay and you can pick up on that when you talk with me in person but I don’t like that my flatmates forcing using female pronouns/ names when they call me, it’s ok but really not my thing, I like being gay because I like the idea that im a man and have sex with a man. They do that to me in front of strangers that we meet in the camp and they seem to refuse to call me by my male name because of their “ you’re not better than us” mind set, I already made it clear to them that im verse not a top but still they have deep rooted self hate due to their arabic islamic culture and i have to deal with their projection. I appreciate you opinions🧡
