I've played so much this kind of games that now I wanted to create my own🥹

Hi everyone!

I grew up playing a lot of WipEout, F-Zero, and Star Wars Pod Racing... I played these kinds of games on every console possible, and now I'm making my own! I'm merging my experience with these games and my experience as a game dev, while trying to give it my own twist to make it unique.

This is my first trailer I'd love to show it to you and know your opinions!

If you like it, checking out the Steam page and adding it to your Wishlist would mean A LOT to a guy who is making his dream come true.

Best timing ever, or the worst timing possible?

I've been working on a futuristic anti-gravity racer for quite a while now.

I grew up with WipeOut and F-Zero, and later got back into the genre through Redout. One of the reasons I started developing my own racer was because it felt like there weren't many active games in this space anymore.

Then, almost out of nowhere, Star Wars Galactic Racers gets announced while I'm still deep in development.

And here's the funny part: the first Star Wars Racers game is probably the game that inspired me the most. When I first played it, I absolutely loved the feeling of racing through those incredibly immersive tracks, and that experience had a huge influence on the direction of my own project.

So now part of me thinks it's terrible luck, because suddenly a huge franchise is entering a niche genre.

But another part of me thinks it's actually great news, because any game that brings attention back to anti-gravity racing could help grow interest in the genre as a whole.

As players (or fellow devs), what do you think?

When you're making or following a niche genre, is it better to be alone in the market, or to have a big game bring new attention to it?

For context, the game I'm working on is called RogueOut Racing.

I missed the golden era of precision arcade racers so much that I'm building my own!

Hey everyone!

I'm a solo dev and I'm finally fulfilling a lifelong dream: making a high-speed arcade racer. I grew up playing WipEout, F-Zero, and Star Wars Pod Racer, and I always wanted to create something that captured that same feeling of pure speed and precision.

After months of hard work, I finally launched the Steam page for my game, RogueOut Racing!

It’s an anti-gravity racer with a stylized cel-shaded look. I've focused a lot on the physics and handling to make the driving feel rewarding. You have to manage boosts, vehicle heat, and find the perfect racing lines. I also included local split-screen because I really miss couch multiplayer, and online leaderboards with ghosts to challenge other players' times.

Doing everything alone is tough, but seeing the game come together is amazing. I just wanted to share this milestone and my passion with you guys!

Working on a sci-fi arcade racer (RogueOut Racing) – Steam page just went live

Hey everyone,

I’m currently working on a sci-fi arcade racing game called RogueOut Racing 🚀 and I just launched the Steam page.

It’s a high-speed anti-gravity racer focused on precision driving, tight controls, and skill-based racing. The idea is to reward clean driving, learning tracks, and improving lap times down to milliseconds.

The game takes place in a stylized cel-shaded sci-fi universe with different futuristic environments. Tracks are designed as fast routes through large open spaces, mixing speed and flow with competitive structure.

There’s also a focus on boost management, energy/heat systems, and responsive vehicle handling, so every decision on the track matters.

You’ll be able to compete on global leaderboards, race ghost runs, and play local split-screen multiplayer.

If you’re into arcade racers, I’d really appreciate any feedback on the direction or the Steam page 🙏

Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4783060/RogueOut_Racing/

Is it worth at least 1, 2, or even 10 wishlists?

I’m building a high-speed sci-fi racer and just launched its Steam page!!!

Hey everyone!

I’m currently working on a sci-fi arcade racing game called RogueOut Racing 🚀 and I’ve just put the Steam page live.

It’s a high-speed anti-gravity racer focused on precision driving, tight control, and pure speed. The idea is to really push skill-based racing, where learning the tracks, optimizing your lines, and shaving off milliseconds actually matters.

Visually, I’m going for a stylized cel-shaded universe that mixes different futuristic environments. The tracks are built through large open spaces, so you get a sense of speed and freedom while still racing on structured, competitive routes.

I’m also building systems around boost management, heat/energy, and vehicle handling, so every decision on the track matters and rewards clean, precise driving.

There will be online leaderboards, ghost runs from other players, and local split-screen multiplayer, so you can always compete against times whether yours, your friends’, or the best players.

Each vehicle also has its own handling style, so players can pick what fits them best depending on the track and their driving approach.

I’d really appreciate any feedback on the Steam page, trailer, or overall direction of the game.

Thanks for checking it out 🙏

Hi everyone!

A few years ago I made a big mistake: I created a Steam page for a game way too early and made it public before I even had solid gameplay.

At the time I didn’t really know what I was doing, I just wanted to release a game. In the end, I wasn’t even happy with it myself, so I abandoned the project and spent the following years making smaller games.

Since last February, though, I’ve been working on something new. I’ve always wanted to make a racing game, and after 2-3 months of development I’ve come up with a sci-fi racing game that I’m actually really happy with. It’s still in development, but the feedback so far has been very positive.

It’s currently playable on itch.io (you can find it as “RogueOut Racing” if you want to check it out).

Right now the game includes:

3 tracks

An event system to test new features

An online leaderboard where you can race against other players’ ghosts and try to beat their times

So I feel like it’s at a good stage, and I’d like to bring it to Steam.

My question is: can I reuse the old Steam page? I never released the original game, I only uploaded some screenshots, a trailer, and the old title. (So I can still join the Steam Next Fest with it)

On one hand, I’d prefer not to waste the money I already spent on that page. On the other hand, I’m worried it might negatively affect the visibility or performance of the new game.

Does anyone have experience with this or know what the best approach would be?
