What do Trump supporters think of Trump's self dealing? Do you support the Trump DoJ making a billion dollar "settlement" with himself?

I notice that the conservatives are doing their best to ignore Trump's self dealing. If Biden did this, it would be the only thing they would be talking about.

Trump sues the IRS for ten billion dollars for leaking the tax returns he promised to release years ago. Then the Trump Justice Dept cuts a deal with Trump the plaintiff for 1.6 billion dollars.

Sweet.

There's no reason why other guitar makers should copy the design of the Fender Stratocaster.

I don't understand why other guitar makers should feel entitled to copy the Fender Stratocaster. There's no need to except for one reason: it's become the standard. That means it's worth something.

Which is why Fender should be entitled to licence their bodies the way they do with Warmoth.

In the 10/7/23 Hamas attack, is it known how many Israelis were killed by friendly fire?

I've been trying to find out how many Israelis were killed by friendly fire in the 10/7 attack and I'm having trouble finding any sort of figure. We know the response was delayed which makes the lack of information troubling.

Are there any estimates of how many Israelis were killed by Israeli forces?

Do you support the Hannibal Directive?

The Hannibal Directive (Hebrew: נוהל חניבעל, romanizedNóhal Khanibaál), also translated as Hannibal Procedure or Hannibal Protocol, is the name of a controversial procedure used by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to prevent the capture of Israeli soldiers by enemy forces. Author Eyal Weizman has described a 2014 Israeli policy stating that "the kidnapping must be stopped by all means, even at the price of striking and harming our own forces."^([2]) It was introduced in 1986, after a number of abductions of IDF soldiers in Lebanon and subsequent controversial prisoner exchanges. The full text of the directive was never published, and until 2003, Israeli military censorship forbade any discussion of the subject in the press.

In the 1948 war, the Zionists outnumbered the Arabs two to one

The myth is that Israel was attacked by Egypt, Transjordan (now Jordan), Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon in 1948. What's never mentioned is that the Zionist militias outnumbered the Arabs two to one and also had superior arms. And the Arab countries didn't send in their standing armies; they asked for volunteers.

In fact, the Arabs were disorganized with different groups having different goals. Afraid of revolts at home, the Arab League countries asked for volunteers - which took time to organize. The Zionists had 29,677 initially; later 117,500. The Arabs had 13,000 (initial) and then 51,100–63,500.

At no time were the Zionists outnumbered or outgunned by the Arabs. Yet this has become one of the founding myths of Israel.

How come Trump gets along fine with Communists but hates the Pope and other Christian leaders?

As I was watching Trump abuse a reporter it occured to me that he didn't learn to be so rude in a Christian school. He's rude, like a Communist.

Trump "dated" Kim Jong Ill,of North Korea. He famously refuses to criticize Vlad Putin. And now we see him bragging about his friendship with the Communist dictator of China.

Trump saluted a North Korean general. But his lackeys insulted the Vatican's representative (a bishop) by claiming the Catholic church needs to bend a knee before Trump. Then he cut funding for Catholic Charities.

There is more evidence that Donald Trump is a Communist than there is that he's a Christian. What do you think?

Is there a difference in the quality of ash and rosewood now compared to before CITES?

CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) heavily regulates the international trade of rare woods to prevent exploitation, with major restrictions placed on rosewoods, ebony, and bubinga.

How does the quality of rosewood and ash today compare to the wood of yesteryear? How does that apply to instrument makers?

Was playing in the Beatles the first jobs the boys had?

I remember a quote from John Lennon (in 1965) where he was advising somebody to not eat a prepared sandwich. He said "I wouldn't eat that if I were you. I used to work there and we would spit in the sandwiches and roll them in dirt."

This is the only mention of a possible job I know of from any of them. But John was 20 years old when the Beatles went to Hamburg in 1960. Paul was 18 and George was 17.

Did they have any jobs before becoming professional musicians?

In praise of the twelve string guitar

The twelve string doesn't get a lot of love and as a result, a lot of people are intimidated by them. Leadbelly was known as the King of the Twelve String Guitar but he played mostly chords and single note fills. The Beatles, the Byrds and Led Zepplin used the twelve string to color their sounds. Many people today just play cowboy chords.

We've all heard the comments about spending all your time tuning a twelve string. It's not a forgiving intrument when it comes to intonation, but a twelve string guitar that is properly set up will stay in tune (depending on the environment.)

If the action isn't too high, leads sound great. Jimi Hendrix tuned his twelve string down to C - which is the way the instrument was originally tuned. And you can bend the strings easily when it's tuned down.

The twelve string typically has three courses of unison strings in the treble and three courses of octave strings in the bass. I never cared for the octaves and even played around with making it a nine string by removing the octave strings. I've also tuned it to fifths like a cello to turn it into a sort of Irish bouzouki.

Eventually, I realized that less is more. The unison strings and the octave strings are two distinct voices and I find myself playing triads more than six string chords - especially when playing with other guitarists who are playing full chords. I can get mandolin sounds while doubling the bass lines which compliments what the other guitarist is doing rather than limiting the arrangement to big cowboy chords.

And that, for me has become the secret to playing twelve string guitar: less is literally more because it allows me to use two distinct voices. Triads work better than chords. Doubling the melody or bass with the octave strings can be very effective. And it's easier to mix.

When Les Wexner was called to testify in the Jeffrey Epstein case beind closed doors, the Republicans didn't even bother to show up.

We need a full investigation of Les Wexner. All of the evidence points to him funding Jeffrey Epstein's Mossad honeypot scheme jut as he has funded so many other individuals.

I know the Republicans like to claim the Jeffrey Epstein scandal is a "both sides" scandal and they even forced the Clintons to testify. But if you get past the noise, what stands out to me is how many of Trump's Florida cronies were involved with Jeffrey Epstein and are now in the Trump administration.

It appears the entire Florida GOP was in cahoots with Jeffrey Epstein.

People in the West keep wondering why Hamas militants don't surrender but never ask why they should? Surrendering to the Israelis means a lifetime of imprisonment, torture and now, death by hanging. The Israelis define terrorism as anybody who fights them and they don't recognize that the Palestinians have any rights. So by surrendering, the Hamas militants are admitting their guilt.

Lower level fighters will be exiled*.* High level members of Hamas will be hanged. All will be at the mercy of the Israelis.

There's no incentive for any Hamas militant to surrender. And maybe that's the point?

I've been getting interested in finishing Stratocasters lately. Which got me to take another look at the guitar Jimi painted before he performed at the Monterey Pop Festival.

It was quite the fad among British guitarists in the 1960s to paint their guitars. George Harrison, Jimmy Page did it themselves while Eric Clapton had The Fool paint his. Some of them succeeded; others...not so much. Turns out the electric guitar isn't that easy a canvas to work on. George Harrison's "Rocky" is a lot more famous but a little too psychedelic for my tastes.

I like what Jimi Hendrix painted better than any of the others. What I particularly admire is his use of space. He leaves one section blank which would've been the bottom while playing. The red back with a white front is an interesting choice. Roses and hearts - typical Jimi.

Why were the Germans hiring British musicians? Was it because, speaking English, the bands were more "authentic"? Or were there a lot of British soldiers in the city who wanted to hear rock and roll? What was going on in Hamburg in 1960?

President Donald Trump, his sons, and the Trump Organization are suing the IRS and Treasury Department for at least $10 billion in damages, alleging negligence allowed his tax records to be leaked in 2020. The lawsuit, filed in January 2026, claims "reputational and financial harm" from the leak, which revealed his low tax payments. Trump is currently in talks to resolve the suit, potentially seeking a settlement.

Seems like just yesterday Trump was telling us he would love to release his tax returns but can't because he's being audited...for the last ten years.

In February 2024, a New York judge found that both brothers intentionally falsified business records to inflate the value of the Trump Organization's assets. Each was ordered to pay over $4 million in damages and was banned from serving as an officer or director of any New York corporation for two years.

  • Pentagon Contracts: In early 2026, both brothers faced scrutiny for their roles in companies seeking or receiving lucrative Department of Defense contracts. Eric Trump publicly highlighted a $24 million Pentagon deal awarded to a robotics firm he is associated with, Foundation Future Industries.
  • Cryptocurrency Ventures: The brothers co-founded World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency platform that has drawn criticism from ethics watchdogs for potential conflicts of interest. Reports indicate the Trump family receives 75% of net proceeds from its token sales, which reached approximately $1 billion by late 2025.
  • Rapid Wealth Increase: Following Donald Trump’s 2024 election win, both brothers saw their estimated net worths grow significantly. By April 2026, Eric's net worth was estimated at $400 million and Donald Jr.'s at $300 million, up from roughly $40 million to $50 million each prior to the election.

Hello everybody!

So I may have given a lot of people a surprise today. Let me start off by apologizing to everyone whose trust I abused.

I apologize to my parents for saying I had an interview without specifying it was for “Most Wanted.”

I apologize to my colleagues and students for saying I had a personal emergency (by the time anyone reads this, I probably most certainly DO need to go to the ER, but can hardly call that not a self-inflicted status.)

I apologize to all of the people I traveled next to, all the workers who handled my luggage, and all the other non-targeted people at the hotel who I put in danger simply by being near.

I apologize to everyone who was abused and/or murdered before this, to all those who suffered before I was able to attempt this, to all who may still suffer after, regardless of my success or failure.

I don’t expect forgiveness, but if I could have seen any other way to get this close, I would have taken it. Again, my sincere apologies.

On to why I did any of this:

I am a citizen of the United States of America.

What my representatives do reflects on me.

And I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.

(Well, to be completely honest, I was no longer willing a long time ago, but this is the first real opportunity I’ve had to do something about it.)

While I’m discussing this, I’ll also go over my expected rules of engagement (probably in a terrible format, but I’m not military so too bad.)

Administration officials (not including Mr. Patel): they are targets, prioritized from highest-ranking to lowest

Secret Service: they are targets only if necessary, and to be incapacitated non-lethally if possible (aka, I hope they’re wearing body armor because center mass with shotguns messes up people who *aren’t*

Hotel Security: not targets if at all possible (aka unless they shoot at me)

Capitol Police: same as Hotel Security

National Guard: same as Hotel Security

Hotel Employees: not targets at all

Guests: not targets at all

In order to minimize casualties I will also be using buckshot rather than slugs (less penetration through walls)

I would still go through most everyone here to get to the targets if it were absolutely necessary (on the basis that most people *chose* to attend a speech by a pedophile, rapist, and traitor, and are thus complicit) but I really hope it doesn’t come to that.

Rebuttals to objections:

Objection 1: As a Christian, you should turn the other cheek.

Rebuttal: Turning the other cheek is for when you yourself are oppressed. I’m not the person raped in a detention camp. I’m not the fisherman executed without trial. I’m not a schoolkid blown up or a child starved or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration.

Turning the other cheek when *someone else* is oppressed is not Christian behavior; it is complicity in the oppressor’s crimes.

Objection 2: This is not a convenient time for you to do this.

Rebuttal: I need whoever thinks this way to take a couple minutes and realize that the world isn’t about them. Do you think that when I see someone raped or murdered or abused, I should walk on by because it would be “inconvenient” for people who aren’t the victim?

This was the best timing and chance of success I could come up with.

Objection 3: You didn’t get them all.

Rebuttal: Gotta start somewhere.

Objection 4: As a half-black, half-white person, you shouldn’t be the one doing this.

Rebuttal: I don’t see anyone else picking up the slack

Objection 5: Yield unto Caesar what is Caesar’s.

Rebuttal: The United States of America are ruled by the law, not by any one or several people. In so far as representatives and judges do not follow the law, no one is required to yield them anything so unlawfully ordered.

I would also like to extend my appreciation to a great many people since I will not be likely to be able to talk with them again (unless the Secret Service is *astoundingly* incompetent.)

Thank you to my family, both personal and church, for your love over these 31 years.

Thank you to my friends, for your companionship over many years.

Thank you to my colleagues over many jobs, for your positivity and professionalism.

Thank you to my students for your enthusiasm and love of learning.

Thank you to the many acquaintances I’ve met, in person and online, for short interactions and long-term relationships, for your perspectives and inspiration.

Thank you all for everything.

Sincerely,

Cole “coldForce” “Friendly Federal Assassin” Allen

PS: Ok now that all the sappy stuff is done, what the hell is the Secret Service doing? Sorry, gonna rant a bit here and drop the formal tone.

Like, I expected security cameras at every bend, bugged hotel rooms, armed agents every 10 feet, metal detectors out the wazoo.

What I got (who knows, maybe they’re pranking me!) is nothing.

No damn security.

Not in transport.

Not in the hotel.

Not in the event.

Like, the one thing that I immediately noticed walking into the hotel is the sense of arrogance.

I walk in with multiple weapons and not a single person there considers the possibility that I could be a threat.

The security at the event is all outside, focused on protestors and current arrivals, because apparently no one thought about what happens if someone checks in the day before.

Like, this level of incompetence is insane, and I very sincerely hope it’s corrected by the time this country gets actually competent leadership again.

Like, if I was an Iranian agent, instead of an American citizen, I could have brought a damn Ma Deuce in here and no one would have noticed s–t.

Actually insane.

Oh and if anyone is curious is how doing something like feels: it’s awful. I want to throw up; I want to cry for all the things I wanted to do and never will, for all the people whose trust this betrays; I experience rage thinking about everything this administration has done.

Can’t really recommend it! Stay in school, kids.

The Wexner Foundation has thrived at the same exact time period Les Wexner funded Jeffrey Epstein. The Wexner Foundation website is very revealing.

https://www.wexnerfoundation.org/our-values/

In the early 1980’s, Leslie Wexner advanced a set of leadership development ideas that have become his unwavering philanthropic commitment over four decades. He recognized that leaders were not sufficiently developed and valued in Jewish community life. With laser-like focus he crafted a set of initiatives designed to identify, train and support volunteer and professional leaders in North American Jewish life and public sector leaders in Israel.

*"*The core of The Wexner Foundation’s philanthropic work has consisted of leadership programs that Foundation staff run and operate—investing in individual leaders."

Here's a recent letter to Wexner Alumni.

Dear Alumni,

The Wexner Foundation was created 40 years ago seeking to develop Jewish volunteer and professional leaders in North America and public service leaders in Israel...

eJewish Philanthropy recently wrote “…there has been scant public discussion of Wexner’s relationship with Epstein within the Jewish world.” Together we represent a tiny corner of that world. For a generation our organization has stood for excellence. We are refraining from issuing statements for now so we can listen more closely. While not public, we are engaging in a robust network-wide discussion, and we hope you will choose to be a part of it.

Immediately following Les Wexner’s Congressional deposition and the political press conference where members made several uncorroborated statements, we started inviting Alumni groups to Zoom calls to share your reactions, perspectives and recommendations. We are only listening. We will sit in a posture of taking in your feelings and feedback.

These calls have already begun, first with alumni of our programs for Jewish professionals and next with Wexner Heritage Alumni (volunteer leaders in North America) and current cohorts. Our Israeli alumni are an essential part of our extended network family. We are in close touch with our Jerusalem leadership team who has given us initial input into this conversation. We will pursue further opportunities to hear from Israeli alumni once the understandable focus on grave and immediate security threats has passed. And we pray they remain safe and secure.
