Sounds like they wanna get them on batteries or something. This is the text message they got after the interaction.
>Your Sunrun appt is confirmed for [time and date] Your Sunrun rep will show you how solar + storage can help you take control of your energy. Get ready for your appointment by uploading your most recent utility bill: [link]
the link goes to a page called "customer presentation" with the time and date and a place to upload a bill. They haven't signed anything or uploaded a bill so at least they can't get got that way. Sidenote: every time i see the words "customer presentation" it's always about a timeshare, the most scammiest of scams, so that's got me real worried ngl.
They already have a SolarCity (now tesla solar) system with 17 panels on their home (but no battery) from 10 years ago with 10 years left on the lease. so idk what Sunrun can even do in this situation. the sun facing side of the roof is filled to the max, and every time i've called tesla to see if they can add powerwalls to an existing sytem they said that they can only add powerwalls with new solar installs. So the whole thing from sunrun feels a bit scammy. Or at the least the rep just lying to them.
anyone have experience with sunrun in SoCal (ladwp) area?
It should be as easy as dropping in your png in the "Put Beer in this Folder" folder. The adjustment layer will handle darkening it to match the scene but feel free to adjust it to your tastes. To export for posting just click on File > Export as > jpg or png.
Check it out here: www.photopea.com/#iobCYNYaL (they say the link will be active for 6 months) first time using it and i'm kinda shocked how fully featured it is vs photoshop and even more amazed that it all works in browser. Please don't use AI, guys. Design tools are now more accessible than ever and i'm hoping peeping through this file can teach someone a thing or two.
I also redrew the background by hand so you can also use translucent drinks like glass beer bottles or whatever and not worry about it looking weird behind her hand.
In case the link dies, here is the PSD saved from photopea: https://files.catbox.moe/8dr3b8.psd you should be able to open it again in there on your own in the future.
And let's not forget, a big shout out to u/TypowySlade for insipring this whole trend!!
just got the legacy edition and was greeted with this message in the first page lol
My party went there first thing at 7:00 and the wait was an hour but totally worth it! So funny seeing the marines fall in the water and zoro popping up behind the crowd is so zoro. Buggy’s floating hands was a really cool effect too.

also took a bunch of screenshots here with youtube premium enhanced bitrate and a chrome extension that extracts the actual frame from the video so they should be less compressed than a normal screenshot: https://postimg.cc/gallery/8SFjMFj
put together some textless versions of the latest posters from the official GITS twitter page (they're the highest res versions, even higher than from the official website)
full size versions here for download:

i just remembered from childhood this specific scene helpped me understand how to defocus my eyes to get the magic eye to snap into place, hope it helps someone here!
i’m so scared to break this thing right now while it’s hard to get a replacement. Been loving playing on the TV with full control.
Didn’t need to get out the keyboard and mouse except for to type in the windows passcode.
Weird bug with big picture mode though. I choose shut down and for some reason when I look at the PC after a couple minutes it booted itself back up into the windows lock screen. Anyone know how to fix that?
I just got this notification that the mac app will not work in the next macos update
I have my old Mac mini from 2011 from my childhood that’s just sitting in a box. I’ve already upgraded the drive to a sata SSD in the past. I understand now I’d probably have to install Linux or something on it right? Since there’s no more updates from Apple?
Any cool self hosted stuff I can run on that hardware? Or would it be a waste of electricity vs my m1 Mac mini I’m using as a server right now?
I love the feature where you can create a grid of hotkeys that appear on screen when you touch the pad. It made modded minecraft really enjoyable on the deck since i could have xaero full screen map and mini map toggleable with the left touchpad among other hot keys like chat, toggling distant horizons, shaders, waypoint overlay etc. And then having the right trackpad for camera control and inventory mangement is amazing.
I've always thought minecraft could never be a couch controller type game because of just how janky the controls on console tend to be. Until i tried actually going through all the settings of steam input to make a layout myself.
It kinda sucks that a lot of the reviewers who got a controller just keep dissing the trackpads but then never even used them on the deck. It would've been nice if a real deck user reviewed the controller.
I'm really looking forward to being able to play more mouse and hotkey heavy games on the TV that i wouldn't normally be able to like factory sims and stuff like that.
Anyway, what's you guys favorite touchpad features and for which games? Any layouts you've created for yourself that really surprised you how well it works? Any game you now prefer on the deck vs pc just because of the control scheme? (and I guess will now be able to play on desktop with the controller)
Randomly got these chat notifications saying i've been banned? What's weird is they're all exactly at the same time. What should I do here? Maybe this is the push I need to finally get off the last social media i'm still using lol
