I re-setup my vision pro recently to check out the MLB immersive games on apple tv and realized it's been a while since i tried using ALVR with my gaming pc so i wanna give it another shot.

I've heard there's been a ton of improvments and also now with the support of the PSVR2 controllers, i'm wondering what the correct setup method is if anyone can share.

I remember ALVR having a ton of toggles and sliders so it was kinda confusing to get it stable on my vision pro. Last time i tried steam streaming through ALVR it was so bad, low res, and would lose tracking a lot.

Also heard there's foviated streaming now with ALVR so i defintely wanna try that out.

after the experian data breach last year i froze my credit across all 3 credit reporting agencies and kept them locked since then.

I was looking to pre-order that iphone duo next month but i can't find a clear answer if i need to unfreeze my credit or not. I was under the assumption that because it's a soft pull i won't need to unfreeze but i'm getting conflicting information from online articles.

does anyone who preordered the iphone 18 pro on friday with the apple upgrade program run into any problems with having frozen credit and preordering with apple upgrade?

as we get closer to wednesday, case leaks all but confirm no telephoto on the folding iPhone.

i never realized how much i use telephoto until confronted with the idea of losing it.

i'm thinking of keeping my iPhone 16 Pro as sort of a ipod/point and shoot camera to use along side the fold, not everyday but for special occasions like a concert or a baseball game stuff like that. or as a portable emulation console with one of those usb clamp style controllers.

anyone else thinking of doing the same or similar?

I’ve tried setting the delay settings in the game itself but it still feels so off.

The system is two Sonos One SL for surround and 2 Sub Gen 2 for subwoofer, with the Sonos Arc Ultra and the LG G4 OLED. This is the Switch 2 and Rhythm Heaven btw. But other rhythm games like Taiko also feel off even when adjusted.

I think they’ll probably adapt the square sensor from the selfie camera on the new iPhones that lets you shoot horizontal or vertical and move it to the back. And maybe a higher megapixel version of it.

Just cropping the image would suck because then it pulls down the resolution of the image.

i can already imagine the in store model getting trashed by hundreds of people visiting the stores every day maybe the display getting a bunch of nail marks in it or someone trying to bend it backwards or purposely try to get dust in the crease, and then some website like macrumors or 9to5mac or a YouTuber will report that it’s a shit phone and it’s DOA blah blah blah like they did with the iPhone 6 Plus back in the day.

Or they’ll say that huawei did it first or Samsung did it better etc etc.

There’s gonna be so much stupid press for this phone I just know it.

like i mentioned in my previous DB2 post, vibration or any haptics are not working even with those settings turned on. Action button vibration doesn't do anything, keyboard haptics also broken.
