I think they’ll probably adapt the square sensor from the selfie camera on the new iPhones that lets you shoot horizontal or vertical and move it to the back. And maybe a higher megapixel version of it.

Just cropping the image would suck because then it pulls down the resolution of the image.

i can already imagine the in store model getting trashed by hundreds of people visiting the stores every day maybe the display getting a bunch of nail marks in it or someone trying to bend it backwards or purposely try to get dust in the crease, and then some website like macrumors or 9to5mac or a YouTuber will report that it’s a shit phone and it’s DOA blah blah blah like they did with the iPhone 6 Plus back in the day.

Or they’ll say that huawei did it first or Samsung did it better etc etc.

There’s gonna be so much stupid press for this phone I just know it.

like i mentioned in my previous DB2 post, vibration or any haptics are not working even with those settings turned on. Action button vibration doesn't do anything, keyboard haptics also broken.

Easy to replicate this bug, just create a shortcut with the "orientation lock" action set to "Toggle".

It doesn't do anything when you trigger the shortcut, you can check control center to confirm too. but the easiest way to see is to lock your orientation/rotation in control center then rotate your phone sideways then press play on the shortcut while in the shortcuts app.

Anyone else have vibration not working even with all the settings turned on?

looking for advice on what settings I should use at a baseball game. Specifically dodger stadium at 7:10pm if that helps anything. I keep getting noisy color noise in dark parts of the photo at night, hoping not to get that again next week.
