So I've a budget of 300k but the problem is that I'm stuck between laptop & PC.
I'm currently in my 1st semester ( just done with 1st month at uni )
I do have a laptop. It's good enough to handle C & Cpp ( uni tasks ) .
I don't know what should I do right now.
I want to be ahead of my uni fellows & learn some real world things.

So this side is an 19 yo guy.
This side is a student of a govt uni who got into all top unis like Nust fast pieas giki , but couldn't go there cuz my father is lacking resources.
He worked for an employer all his life who pays him peanuts. A loyal retarded guy.
When I asked him I wanna go to NUST they stopped me cz these guys are hella controlling. Baat baaat pr rok tok blah blah ye na karo wo na karo.
When I asked him to pay 260k for my NUST 1st sem fee , all he said mery pas kameti h 1st fee to deduga agay kon dega ?
Mery baray bhai ki uni ki fees mery chachu dety. God forbid agar chachu na hotay to what could happen to my brother's uni. They pay 2 lac / sem for my brother's fee.
Due to this controlling bs , my faith in allah is shattered a lotttttt.
I'm stuck with the thought , " Kama ni sktay to peda q krtay ho???"
My task was to study really really hard. I did it. Done my part. But my father failed to do it.
I don't really believe in Allah now . Ik that He helps me in all circumstances but idk what has happened to me from inside.
Mind you my father bought a 160k BRANDDDD NEWWS SAMSUNG FE shit but he has no money to pay for my uni fee. Which he doesn't really have but still it hurts a lot . I needed a laptop for my programming & stuff but this guy doesn't have ENOUGH MONEY to buy me that.
Abhi m ek esi uni k esy program m hu jahan admission lena is .001% typa shii cuz out of 35k students only 70 were accepted in that program......
I wanma escape my home but if i do call center job it'll hurt my unigrades a lot .....

Assalamualaikum! I'm an 18 y/o guy starting uni this yearrr. I scored well im both matric and 1st year . My percentage in matric and inter was 96.5% and 90% respectively.
I cracked entry test of every university.
I got into FAST NUST UET PIEAS PU .
• 86/100 in PU's test
• 97.3 percentile in PIEAS ( 62/100 )
• 320/400 in ECAT
• 145/200 in NET
• Admitted into BS CS in FAST LHR
I got into CS in all of these universities.

Well , on this side, there is an 18 yo guy joining uni this year . Just for the sake of degree from reputable university , I'm going to choose Punjab University (PUCIT). Other private universitites like NUST , FAST , GIKI , LUMS are just making money . Well, they're running the best business in the name of education.
The main thing is it is so sad to hear the despairing remarks from senior devs just say ,
"CS WALI SIDE PAR MAT ANA , YAHAN PAR J0BS NAHI HAIN , LAYOFFS HIAN , ETC..."So , the point is : AI ML engineering , or other AI related fields are also blooming right???? Then why shouldn't a peep like me go and upskill in Cloud , cyber , AI ML , DS , etc............... There must be a gora who needs services out of these things .
So , the thing is what do think this is the best time to enter in which area ????

Mera dil ruk sa gaya ye jumlay sun kar . I did effort for one year , lekin end par qismat ko kuch or hi manzoor tha . Mera to dil tah NUST jaun , lkin qismat kuch or hi chahti thi . Ab mein ek government uni jaunga , and u know wahan muja NUST jesa exposure nahi milega . Ab dar sa lagra hai , k nust k bacho ko zyada opportunities + competition + environment milta hai . Mujha to ye sab us level par ni milega . Upar se NUST ne FA b khatam krdi , ab ghareeb admi jaye to kahan jaye . FAST GIKI loan deta hai , but U have to pay it back. Qarz le kar admi so nahi pata , to baba ne kaha ye kaam b nahi krna .

Dekho Computing k 4 programs hain CS AI DS SE right? So har program me agar 40 open merit ki seats hon to total computing ki seats bani 160 . Agar koi bacha Computing ki ek field (lets say CS) me admission le leyga (Obv first 40 wlay bacahy) to uska naam other 3 fields like DS AI SE me nahi ayga. And the next people will be able to take admission in these programs..... Smjhay ???? Also do remember agar apney kisi ek list me admission lelia hai let's say CS , so ap ksi or computing ki field me transfer krwa sktay ho like AI DS SE. So, this is the merit game going on .......... Correct me if I'm wrong !!!

Well, the situation right now is k I need advice from seniors (working in industry) k what if agar me CS krta hu (probably from PUCIT) to kya itni jobs (AI ML engineering ) hain market mein? Kya muja job miljaygy (obv if I'm good at it)?
If I pivot towards CA , how it's being affected by AI? Is it AI-proof ? Is it worth pursuing as a career .
