The weather in my city is gloriously warm and sunny this time of the year. And I have to say, I still enjoy subbing if nothing else for the freedom I have on the weekends. I can truly leave work behind and not give it a second thought. Mind you, I AM in a LONG TERM assignment, that is only part-time, with sped kids and it was crazy on Friday. A para even had an attitude with me when I had to get a kid from eloping and asked her to help me. At the end of the day, I didn't do or say anything inappropriate (out of frustration as the kid that eloped is uncontrollable sometimes). I check my app and the school hasn't canceled me lol. Life goes on and back to school on Monday. I dont' give it a SECOND THOUGHT

I hadn't been in a while and was hankering to go today and I was there at the start of 10:00am. I am impressed with the *variety of vendors and the food options were top notch and an excellent variety!

GO! and support your local community. I dropped a couple hundred myself but I love everything I purchased!

He is a single dad in his late 50s with a toddler who just started school and his profile is no longer searchable. He's been on facebook dating for eon's as far as I know. HE did not block me (I just know he wouldn't; at best he would've swiped left since we matched then I unmatched him only a couple months ago but started a new account and profile since). I'm wondering if I ever showed up in his search filters if he ever had any. Coz he could've sought a taller woman whose closer to where he lives. These seemed like issues between us

I am an American and product of immigrants (been here over 50 years so I'm solidly American :)). I am a woman in my late 50s and have several tattoos - nothing over the top like arm sleeves but nonetheless visible ones. But I live in San Francisco, a very liberal and open-minded city. I have a college degree and work in education. Anyhow, whenever I'm on social media most of the personalities who are average people have a bunch of visible tattoos, men and women of all ages. I am just wondering if having tattoos is the NORM in America amongst Americans. I'm talking all socioeconomic class, occupation or educational backgrounds (maybe minus phd's or doctors lol).

I am a 50something yo woman and recently discovered travel again. I was always either a checked bag or carryon person no matter where I went. On my recent travel i decided to test my limit and carry one week’s travel in one personal item bag and iPad only (always carry small Chromebook type laptop). Though I still overpacked believe it or not it was a completely liberating experience I must say! I plan to travel like this going forward though I don’t usually travel for more than a week or so

I just accepted a long term assignment going until winter break working 930am to 1:00pm, it counts as half day but my district pays well and there are a few add on pays including 10+ long term pay. The earnings are still comfortable for me and did I mention the hours. Ideal👌 AND its mild/moderate RS/SDC :-)

I am a never married/childfree woman who is 59 and lived alone all my adult life. Just to remind you all that living alone is still great bt one drawback is becoming an anti-social misanthropist. I work in education so I deal with lots of kids so my social bandwidth is pretty good but damn I can't tolerate alot of social and human interactions and will avoid it once I step outside my door or get on the phone for a customer service call.

Once all of it is over, the annoying people interactions and such, I realize we need people, that it's people that make the world go around. As much as I love my peace and being alone and as I grow older though I'm kinder and gentler the people tolerance is worst (but quiet inside).

So just be respectful, receptive polite kind and tolerant as much as you can to endure or appreciate the people interaction, at the checkout line, on a customer service call, sitting next to a stranger on the plane, your neighbors, etc. Don't burn any bridges.

So I work for very busy school districts, one uses Frontline and the other uses Red Rover. School starts August 17 and 20. I usually see assignments trickle in for the first or few weeks b/c like I said these are busy districts but NOTHING. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing anything.

I am looking at walking and pub tours in Viator and Tripadvisor and they are vastly different i.e., from $55 to $4. And do viator and tripadvisor use the same companies?

Would you be hesitant to reach out?

Also, is it more prevalent in white people? The people, old and young'ish but mostly older folks, have double chins or chins that droop and it's really an eyesore. Some are overweight and others are not. I am of a certain ethnicity and I am not overweight (not at perfect weight either) and I never had that.

I am asking a genuine question here. I also choose to post here than in the solofemaletravelers sub where I am usually. I am 59F and will be celebrating a milestone birthday in December. Since I am single/childfree, I usually spend my birthdays alone and I'm usually traveling. My cousin who is now 60 is married and has two kids. She was also a caregiver to her mom who died I think a year ago (that is my aunt). I've been wanting to reconnect with her to go to a big trip like Europe from California where we both live (I in the north and she in the south) and I can get in touch with her on facebook but One reason I'm always traveling alone is I hate bothering people who aren't in your everyday lives or have been out of touch and to suddenly connect. THIS IS NOT a selfish act. I know her mom's death has been hard and I don't think she's ever been to Europe.

Should I connect with her or not? How will this be perceived by her? Mind you, we haven't been in touch in years and I didn't even attend her mom's funeral.

If I'm not traveling alone, I would much prefer to do so with family.

Hi, I'm celebrating my 60th bday in December. It's rough b/c it's on Dec 15 and very close to the holidays and plane travel is hard due to weather.

I am seeking some ideas on where to go. I thought about Europe but wouldn't mind staying put in the USA as there are many many US cities I have not been to. So I'm a California girl and would want to experience something totally different :)

Everytime I am casually in a Ross store, I drop $150. I find the bargains for everything from cosmetics to shoes (I am female) just too hard to pass up. I feel like an addict in this store where in other stores that are pricier or more fufu I can easily just walk on by. I'm not into any one thing either, like clothing or home goods. I just walk into a Ross and see things I want or need.

So I work for school districts that use both Frontline and Red Rover. I had my Samsung Android for years and it worked great and recently replaced it with an older model iPhone (12) and am not sure it works as fast. Is this a moot question?

Hello: please help me here. I am a 59F/never married/childfree woman. The fact that I never married was mainly b/c I was "in between" everything, i.e., school, jobs, relocations, etc. without being "rooted" anywhere or being stable at anything. So I get that part. But what has been getting to me lately as I navigate in the dating world (took a long break and trying to get back in) is men throwing me away like a kleenex after a ONS. I am have one visible arm tattoo of a lotus flower and I do mention I have a couple on my body on our first date (one's a lower back one which I realize some could interpret as sexually promiscuous or easy). But besides the tattoos, what am I doing wrong? I am myself on the dates, I am a good person, I don't negative talk anything, I want a long term relationship. I met these men on facebook dating, both in their late 50s, divorced and with adult children.

I am a woman in my 50s and trying to grasp what the act of sexual intercourse is supposed to mean to people? And how people can forget their sexual partners in the blink of an eye once it's over. Doesn't it cut deep, even if the relationship can be on a spectrum from one night stand to short term relationship to long term or marriage and cohabitation. To me, it's a very intimate and bonding act.

In the age of dating apps, I feel like it's become way too casual. I mean, cmon the exchange of naked bodies, fluids, kissing, seeing each other naked. You can't even fathom that with just any random stranger!

I just downloaded the app on a new phone and also had a change in phone number. I've updated in the app Red Rover. Anyone receive any pings in the app? i.e., for August/Sept assignments it can happen. It just has been stone silent and I was wondering if my app notifications are working
