I have a top AIO that exhaust right now with . Considering a front panel mod that can fit a fan to get more airflow.
What’s the best way to utilize a front fan?
Just wanted to get a pulse on what temps people are getting.
Right now I’m sitting 55-60° idle with a 7800x3d (CO -20) on a CM Atmos with Noctua fans. It still seems high to me.
Also with glass panel on the MB side not that I would think that would impact much given the AIO. I know the 7800x3d is known to run hot.
I feel like my wiring with stock corsair for my PSU is pretty clean but thought I’d get some input since a lot of you get custom cables.
I do like the braided look of the stock ones. But aside from custom color and just fitted in length to make installation easier, any other perk to custom cables?
I feel like I spend more time and money messing around with my T1 and tweaking things than actually using it as a computer lol
I’ve had a standard gunmetal case but my first draw to the SFF scene was the McPrue design which is obviously just a copy of Apple’s MacPro. I eventually landed with the t1 and love it in every way.
Anyways, when I saw that Zcooi had a new front plate that was basically the McPrue design, I ordered it right away (I feel like I might be the first batch test run of this design). It took about 1.5 months to actually arrive, but I can not be any happier with it. The design, cut and quality matches the t1 well - it was actually better than I expected because in the CAD design shows verticals lines where the plate begins to chamfer but it is not present in the final product which provides a cleaner look. I added a pc dust mesh on the inside of the front panel which to me, looks complete. Now it feels like I have a version 9.9L mini McPrue which is even better than getting a McPrue itself. Bonus I get some extra air coming through the front now
One thing I did wish was being able to get a silver color over black but this color looks very sharp still.
Since I’m going from the gunmetal to black, I’m also looking for a black top/bottom panel to match it if anyone has a spare! I currently will have one panel on the way from another redditor but still look for one more.
Maybe you purchased an extended t-grill, and you have a spare panel picking up dust. I’m look for a black top/bottom black formd t1 panel. Let me know if you have one laying around and want to sell.

New to PCs, coming from consoles where I can expect 5-6 years before the next gen
I have a 5070 ti / 7800x3d / 32gb DDR5 RAM build. How
long will this spec last realistically before I will need to upgrade it?
I’m hoping longer than 5-6 years considering how things are going today + it’s still 4x the cost to build over console.

The leak occurred because of an unprotected endpoint on Steam that allowed anyone who found it to access the files. All content in the leak is from as early as 2003 up until 2013.
Not to be hyperbolic but this may be one of if not the biggest leaks to occur due solely to the number of games it involves.
I bit the bullet and tried out Steamidra after the constant praises about it. I was exclusively downloading from FG so this opened up even more, and wow it just unlocks the download directly from steam. That was mind blowing.
Then someone recommended Luatools, and this seems waaay more polished, less jank of an app. Has a direct plug-in into steam that streamlines downloading/unlocking. All around just much easier to navigate and understand application.
With Steamidra, it’s a nice app, feels a little jank and tbh AI coded. If it was the only option out there then sure I’m all for the praises. But with Luatools, I’m surprised it doesn’t get more love over SM. Thoughts?
I have ASUS B650e-i STRIX MB with a secondary SSD used in the back MB in a upside-down configuration.
It has a thin copper heatsink, thick as I can get it between the space I have with the GPU.
According to CrystalDiskInfo - the Composite Temperature can spike up to 85c sometimes, then will go down. But is this any concern?
Anyone deal with this and have a better solution, I do not want to burn out my 2TB SSD back there given how expensive storage is today.

What steps can I take to not care about information and whatnot on it?
During this time, I was already being told this was a great deal for a prebuilt. This was when components were still high but have only gotten worst.
This entire pc with 9800x3d, 32gb ram, 2tb ssd, AND the 5080 + all the other stuff like psu, case, fans, etc.

I have a 5070 ti / 7800x3d build. I should confidently expect this thing to get at least 90 fps or more with DLSS in 4k.
But no matter what I do, I’m only getting 40-50. I turn off path tracing and it gets 55 fps. Even going to the extreme of turning the texture present to Handheld and still only 60-65fps. This is with DLSS performance or quality mode.
Not sure what I’m doing or if it’s the fitgirl repack I downloaded. Nvidia driver is updated, nothing is frame locked. Other games play at max settings just fine.
Saw this cop past on the 5 south. Something seemed off about him, clothes seem to flap in the wind like it’s made of
Lighter dress shirt material, the tail lights, no shoulder badge, license place doesn’t seem CA except either.
I tried to get closer without going over the speed limit in case he was real. Are there really losers out there impersonating cops like this to this extent?
I enjoy using steam as my platform and launcher for big picture mode so I add all my nonsteam games in my steam

But how come some nonsteam games not register any game time when played. Therefore, also not show up on my recent list in the home page in big picture mode. Some do, but some don’t so it’s not all nonsteam games.
For my dynamic strategy I have, which is if it’s found more than 3. Break the loop and return. Yet sometimes it takes longer, and always returns me more than 3
count(cached(totalStreams))> 3 or totalTimeTaken > 5000
Mostly with games that are cracked, I know it recognizes the controller with legitimate games. I just don’t know what setting or configuration I need to play with

These are games that should have controller support but not with the cracked version
