How many of you here don't feel safe around men?

My native language is gendered, most adjectives and words for professions have a separate male and female version (and the "male version" is the default one 😮💨)
Sometimes I'm scared that if people know I'm a woman people will take me less seriously so being seen as male by default is weirdly comforting for me
I saw some comments talking about me and they kept calling me a "he" or "this man" when I've never mentioned my gender once
I refuse to let men openly say creepy shit about women, I refuse to let people make excuses for them, I refuse to celebrate male mediocrity, I would rather be a "misandrist" than an enabler
If a show is getting a shit ton of hate and criticism online (from THE PEOPLE) or has bad dialogue/writing/animation then no amount of arbitrary numbers will invalidate that fact
I felt like I was crazy for seeing how cringe the dialogue and voice acting was and hearing stans insist that it's good and calling me names for it or getting told by parasocial stans that I'm being too sensitive/"being toxic" when I call out how shitty Rooster Teeth or the people who work there are
I'm so glad that I have this sub to support me <3
There have been multiple confirmed instances of critics admitting to being bribed or reviewing things positively due to behind-the-scenes politics or to get exclusive access to something
The cognitive dissonance they will display to bend over backwards to defend every controversy/misdeed the employees do is quite something, how the fuck did they get such an insanely devoted and parasocial fanbase?
I kinda of miss my old account, this new account I'm using can't post on a lot of subreddits (I cant post on r/196 anymore)
I saw comments talking about me and they kept saying things like "he" or "this man" even tho I have never said anything about my gender!
Do people not think that women exist here too?
