What is this little guy?

Belongs to a relative. Sole surviving cutting of a large individual that got afflicted with rot.Have no idea what it is.

Fresh growth on my Jade plant!

I had to do a major cutback because of a mealybug infestation, and now it's finally started regrowing again!

Newly discovered species of flightless steamer duck discovered in Chile

Bit of wildlife news I haven’t seen many people talking about. The newly described Chiloe steamer duck is the most recent flightless bird to be discovered. Previously thought to be a population of Magellanic steamer ducks, differences in call pattern and subtle anatomical differences highlight it as a distinct species, highlighting the difficulty in identifying ‘cryptic’ species.

Looking for some additional information for my thriller pearl

I have been trying to find any additional information about it online , but haven’t found anything, beyond your standard Echeveria care guides. Has anyone else kept one of these, and if so, are there any unique attributes (eg: how often it pups, mature size e.t.c) you know of?

These little hitchhikers turned up about a week after a pot change!

Going to keep them for a bit before discarding them.

New favourite succulent!

Echeveria thriller pearl. It’s so pale that it almost looks like paper. Plus it’s leaves have these super funky shapes to them!

EMERGENCY ADVICE NEEDED!

I was checking the head of my beheaded blue star for roots when I felt the lower portion of stem was mushy. I cut it open and worse case scenario happened, lower part is fully rotted. The top part is still firm. Is it worth trying to save the stem or not?

Finished repotting my Echeveria collection!

Weather was good so I decided to make the most of it. Upgraded my thriller pearl from its store pot and changed it's soil, as it was root bound to the extreme and way too sand. The Fabiola I added more grit to, and downgraded my agavoides and Lilianca (?) as their roots were eaten, so their previous pot become too big.

I am a succulent hobbyist, and have recently acquired a specimen of Echeveria 'thriller pearl'. As you can see, this hybrid cultivar has multiple unique features, including folded in leaves and these bumpy projections called caranules. I'm very interested in what kind of mutations can cause these features to develop.

Echeveria 'thriller pearl', a rare patented Echeveria Lilianca hybrid originating in Holland. It's highly prized for its unique leaf shape and carnucles (most evident in the 2nd image). Apparently very hard to get outside of the E. U, with exceptional large specimens reaching £70. And I found this guy in the back corner of my local supermarket for 3 quid.

It's blue with pink margins, and the leaves have all sorts of weird things going on. Some are folding in in themselves, others have wierd bumps and one even has 4 ends to it!

Harvested from my mystery Echeveria that got half eaten. Tried to save pollen to cross with my Fabiola before it moulded, but couldn’t get any, must’ve still been too early.

Before getting mauled, my mystery Echeveria managed to produce flowers, before the open one fell off. Does anyone know what it is?

Left my Echeveria agavoides and mystery Echeveria out for some sun and forgot to bring them in. Woke up to this. I am really upset. Do these guys have a chance? Also, is the flower stalk worth trying to pollinate or should I just get rid of it?

The base of the stem of my Blue Star has become concaved and rough. Stem is healthy tho, and there is no signs of rot.
