Hi everyone I want your opinions. Both my Eevee & Snorlax GX came back a 9 and I cannot see anything wrong with it. The front is definitely within 55/45 unless I'm blind and the back is the back your allowed to be 75/25 and there's no whitening too. Can someone tell me if I should PSA again for both of my cards or not worth it? Do you guys see anything wrong with both cards? Thanks all

Why this get a 9?

Can someone find the flaw why this got a 9? The centering is within 55/45 no? The corners look good. Can you see the surface damage? Is there even any surface damage? Please no trolls I'm genuinely not sure why this got a 9 :(

Is the centering cooked? Worth sending it in?

Hi everyone id like to get your opinions on the centering of this card. I know the back needs to be 75/25, but it also has a tilt. The front looks like it's around 55/45 or better? but it's difficult to tell whether there's any tilt there as well. I know getting a PSA 10 isn't just about centering, but for the sake of judging centering alone, do you think this card is PSA 10 worthy in terms of centering? Or should I not bother sending it in? Thanks everyone! :)

Can someone tell em why Leasing is the best?

I'm thinking of putting in a 5k deposit and pay monthly and handing back the car in 4 years. This is a no brainer right? But then why is there PCP? Yes you can buy the car in the end and it don't good if you buy the car in the end of your contract. That is it right? What is the pros for leasing then? Cons too? I'm confused. If leasing is so good and cheap then why isn't everyone doing this? Can someone deep this for me I'm maybe overthinking this

Is investing heavily in sealed cases a bad idea?

I'm talking about stuff like Paldea Evolved booster box cases and Surging Sparks booster box cases. My main concern is actually selling them in the future. Let's say I hold them for 5 years and a case is potentially worth xyz. Who is realistically going to buy the entire case? With slabs, it feels easier because you can look at the card, appreciate the artwork, and there's always someone looking for that specific card. But with a sealed case, the buyer is basically buying a large amount of product in one go, and they'd probably wont open it anyways? Maybe I'm overthinking it, but does anyone else think about the liquidity of sealed cases? My portfolio is mainly 70% sealed cases but 65% of them are booster boxes (cases) Appreciate some advice and options thank you all :)

PSA Regular May Submissions What Stage Are You At right now?

Hi everyone sorry for the random question

To anyone who submitted their cards through the sub-centre for the May deadline on the PSA Regular tier (£65 / 40–50 business days), where are your cards at now?

Mine has been stuck on the “Assembly” stage for over a month now. I’m hoping that means I should be getting them back soon, surely?

For anyone else who submitted through the sub centre for the May deadline, what stage are your cards currently at?

Would really appreciate hearing where everyone is at. Thanks! 😊

Is vending worth it? Any real life vendors here?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I know a couple of vendors IRL and they all seem to be doing pretty well. Nice house, nice car, nice lifestyle in general lol.

I understand the basic idea of buying at, say, 70% and selling at 90%+, but is it actually that straightforward once you factor in things like travel, table fees, cards that don't sell, deals where you have to accept less than expected, etc.?

Does anyone here vend regularly and would be willing to share some real life numbers? Things like typical sales, expenses, what you usually have left after everything, average amount per show, etc.

I know every card show is different and sometimes you have a great day while other times you barely do anything, but what would you say is a realistic average?

For example, would £200 to £300 left after expenses for a casual vendor be reasonable? And for the bigger vendors dealing with expensive cards like Ponchos, Moonbreons, etc., can they potentially have £200 to £300 or more left from a single card?

If you're vending once or twice a month, that could be a pretty nice side income alongside a regular job. But the full time vendors who do this every week must be moving a serious amount of stock, so I'm genuinely curious how the numbers actually work.

I'd love to hear from people who actually vend rather than just speculation. What are your typical sales, costs and take home amounts per show?

Would be really interested to hear some actual experiences!

Black horse rejected, Santander rejected and the final one is Tesla financial limited.

Hi, both my wife and I have been rejected for the finance. I genuinely thought my wife would be accepted, but unfortunately, they ended up rejecting the 0% finance for reasons we don't understand. We own our home, have no mortgage or outstanding debt, so we're really not sure why this has happened.

Tesla has now given her one final option called Tesla Financial Limited. When we click Apply for Loan through the Tesla app, it doesn't take us to a third party website but instead the entire application is completed directly through the app.

What we really like to know is whether applying through Tesla Financial Limited means that the 0% finance is guaranteed to be accepted, or whether she could still be rejected after applying?

This option doesn't seem to appear to include the £2,500 contribution or the trade in offer. As far as I can tell, it only offers the 0% finance.

I'm asking because we've already had three hard credit searches, which have significantly affected both of our credit scores. Before we make another application, we really want to be certain that this option is a guaranteed acceptance for the 0% PCP finance.

I also asked the live chat representative, but unfortunately, they said they didn't know.

Thanks all

When does the 0% finance end?

I'm planning to PCP with 0% next month but people are saying it's ending this week? Where do people get this info? If it does end, when does it usually come back? Thanks all

Are you able to check if you can get the 0% beforehand? Before deposit?

Hi, is there any way to find out if I'd definitely qualify for the 0% finance before paying the £250 deposit?

For example, if I pay the £250 deposit and then I'm offered a 10% interest rate instead because I don't qualify for the 0% finance (due to my credit score or whatever criteria they use), would I be able to cancel the order and get my deposit refunded?

I really appreciate any advice or experiences anyone can share. Thanks in advance

PCP on wife's name

Hi everyone this is a bit of a weird question, but ill try to explain it as simply as I can.

I'm looking to get a car on PCP. I know PCP isn't everyones favourite option, but the deal I'm being offered is really good, it suits my needs, and most importantly it's at 0% interest.

The problem is that whenever I apply, I can't get approved for the 0% finance for some reason. I have a good credit history, own my home, and don't have any obvious issues, so I'm not sure why I'm being declined.

My wife however is eligible for the 0% finance. Would it be possible for her to take out the PCP agreement in her name and then add me to the insurance so I can drive the car?

If that isn't allowed, is there another way we could make this work if the finance agreement is in my wife name?

I really appreciate any advice or if anyone has been in a similar situation. Please no idiot answers thank you

0% finance is absolutely a lie...

Tell me I'm wrong. 90% of people that apply for the 0% finance will probably get 10%+ interest instead of 0% because apparently you need a perfect credit score to get the 0%? Tell me this is not true because I really want the 0% finance but I keep getting 13% from the dealers. Appreciate some tips or tricks to get the 0%?

Trade OP13 for Poncho?

Hi everyone sorry if this is the wrong sub because I have pokemon stuff lol

I have the opportunity to trade for the Pikachu Magikarp Poncho. The proposed deal is shown in the photo.

The other person is valuing my cards at around 85% of market value, which comes to roughly £6,400 in trade value, plus I'd need to add £3,000 cash (around $4,000 USD).

Do you think this is a good deal, or should I walk away and keep what I have instead?

My biggest concern is the 85% valuation on my cards—it feels like I'm giving up quite a bit of value. That said, from a long-term investment perspective, do you think the Pikachu Magikarp Poncho is worth it?

I'd really appreciate everyone's opinions. Thanks in advance!

Should I shrink my sealed collection for slabs?

Should I reduce my sealed collection and consolidate into a couple of high end slabs instead? I feel like when I eventually sell the sealed product, it could take ages and there’s a higher risk of scams. Slabs seem lower risk from a transaction perspective, although high end cards can also take longer to sell.

At the moment I have

2 cases of Surging Sparks booster boxes

4 Lost Origin blister cases

Fusion strike blister x100

2 cases of Prismatic bundle cases

Around 6 booster boxes from various Scarlet Violet era sets and mega.

Pokemon center ETBs scarlet to mega

I’m considering trading some of my sealed product for a big card such as Moonbreon, tag team cards, or other high end slabs. Do you think that’s a good move or a bad idea? If not those cards, which high end slabs would you target instead?

Appreciate everyone's help ::)

How to remove the alloys at home?

Hi guys I know how to change a tyre but I do not know how to remove the actual alloys? When I go to Costco they put it in a spinner thingy but obviously I do not have that. Are there any tools I can buy online that actually work and don't cost a bomb? Also and fit the alloys into the new tyre yourself? I really appreciate everyone's help thank you

Sold booster box on eBay buyer claiming they are resealed -_-

I am honestly so angry and upset right now.

I have sold over 50+ booster boxes on eBay and have never had an issue like this before. I know for a fact the booster box was not resealed. It was factory sealed with the original shrink wrap, came from the same case I opened, and I've already sold five from that case this week, all with positive feedback from the buyers.

The buyer is claiming the packs were tampered with and that the box was resealed. It's so so so obvious that they didn't pull the cards they were hoping for and are now trying to get their money back -_-

I explained that I can't accept a return because they have already opened the booster box and every pack inside it. They keep insisting it was tampered with. They're now threatening to leave negative feedback too

I'm worried eBay will force me to accept the return, but I don't understand why. The buyer has already opened every pack, and if they return it, I'll just receive an opened box with opened packs that I can no longer sell.

Has anyone dealt with a situation like this before? What should I do? I'm sure eBay will refund the buyer and fk me over :(

What is the line called?

I'm pretty sure this is why I got a PSA 9. Does anyone know what this line is called? Scratch or print line? but some of the vendors I showed this card too said I can fix this but I can't remember what they said and how to do it? Some kind of cream? Is this safe to do? Appreciate everyone's help:)

Bank transfers from different people flag my account?

Hi everyone sorry for the dumb questions in advance lol

Basically will receiving lots of bank transfers from different people trigger any kind of account review, lock or suspicious activity check? Could my bank contact me about it?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm currently selling my entire Pokémon collection. It's worth around 50k but it's difficult to find a single buyer willing to purchase everything at a fair price, so I'm selling items individually or in bundles. I do most of my sales in person to avoid scams, and I always ask my buyers to pay by bank transfer. Obviously I will be receiving payments from many different people over time as I find the right buyers and prices.

Should I be concerned about my bank flagging these transactions? Also, are there any tax implications I should be aware of when selling a personal collection like this? Most of the collection was acquired years ago and I don't have receipts for a lot of it anymore.

I really appreciate any advice. Thanks everyone :)
