Does Anyone know where to get a FyaRyuu Dragon?

I am a bit young, and I don't necessarily have the money to purchase one, but I just want to know how to get one. I really want one badly as it looks really cute and so much fun to have! But then reality strikes as usual and I don't have a job. But other than bursting the bubble, I know at least one of y'all might have one, so if you don't mind me asking how to get one? If y'all have any suggestions please let me know, because I am new and want to have fun cuddly friends as well that I will keep and enjoy for a very long time! Thanks for reading this, cheers.

Note: If any of y'all don't want your FyaRyuu, then I will happily take it :)

It's a guy... with a very small bow tie... (By Me!!!! "A guy with a very small bow tie" -Me- 2026)

It's a guy... with a very small bow tie...

I sketched this in art today, nothing very much but very interesting, nonetheless. It took me around 45 minutes to make and originally have accouple of sketches of things around it that I erased because they were bad quick sketches. Anyways, this is just based off my imagination and way of thinking. If I could make it better, I would love to try and make the shadow better, but I don't know how to do that so it will have to do. Any thoughts or opinions? (also the scribble in the corner had my name on the bottom so don't mind it)

"The Harvard Classics" From Harvard University from 1909-1910

My vintage book collection contains only a couple of books, with my single favorite being my Websters Dictionary from 1950, and my favorite altogether books being my Harvard Collection.

I found this in very good condition when I went to my local bookstore and thought it was very unique. I looked through them and thought nothing about them, but I did know that I would like to have a nice decoration to my room that would look nice a sophisticated. I asked the lady how much all the books where and she said that all of them would be sold separately, but they had not been liquidated at all. This actually got me kind of worried that all the books would get separated, so I told the lady that I was interested and would like to see how much all the books costed together.

When I said this, the lady looked at me weirdly, but she agreed and had me wait around until all the books where liquidated. While that was happening, I joked around with my friends as we started guessing how much all the books would cost. One said $500, another said $300 while I said $150. However, in the spirit of the mood I said, "if they all cost less or a little beyond than $15, then I will get them". In that moment I heard the lady call me up the register.

I went up to the register and asked for her conclusion on the cost of all the books. She replied in a very slow voice, "they all cost $20 concisely together". I was shocked and immediately put down a 20(with tax) and brought them home to count to see if my treasures were worth the $20 I paid for them.

When I got home, I put them all on my bed and counted. All the books together totaled in 50, and after doing some research, I had a complete set! I was in shock and awe of my find, and I was so happy to have it. I shared it with accouple of other friends that did not go with me to the bookstore and they seemed honestly impressed. Some even asked if I would sell it to make some money, but I simply said no to them as the knowledge inside each book is more precious than diamonds.

Other than the story, some info on the collection is that it seems to come from 19-9-1910 and could have been something they would have given the teachers or students as study books. For the condition, they are excellent with no torn pages, no broken spines, and only some miner scratches on the surface (mostly just from being dragged in and out from the shelf). Other than that, what do you think, have any of y'all found something close to this? If so, I would love to see some images to know if anyone has any books like these!

Any Reviews about CandyCoated?

I have not yet received my first inflatable, but I have got a couple of plushes. I know about many inflatable companies and have heard good reviews of them, but I have seen many a time products show up for a company called CandyCoated. I know they make suits, but they also make toys. Does anyone know about the company and where they stand on the end of quality and design for their products? If so, I have been eyeing them for a long time but can't necessarily know due to me being unable to purchase one of their products. This is because of my age and money at the time of this being sent out to the internet to read. It would be helpful if anyone has any information they would like to share, I personally would love to hear it!

Does anyone know how to get a Inflatable Cerisey Dragon?

I was looking around and I found a fun lookin dragon pool toy. I started lookin more around and I came across a dragon called Cerisey. I didn't know what it was or what brand it came from, but I knew I would like to have one. I suspect its not as cheap as more pool toys that are manufactured because of preorders. I also tried looking for a website but its on facebook, and unfortunately I don't use facebook. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do and a range of price that would come from one of these inflatables? Also, I saw someone else have a dragon named FyaRuu, do yall know how I can get one of those as well if it is cheaper than Cerisey?

I do prefer dragon pooltoys rather than any other pool toy due to them being so darn cute!! I also like inflatable dragon suits from Hongyi and other manufacturers, which if you are interested in this kind of stuff I suggest following their youtube accounts (its fun to see what they make). But then again, they are so darn expensive and I don't have the allowance to purchase one, plus you have to ship them over seas and other stuff which costs money.

Other than that rant, are there any inflatable dragons like Cerisey(or in fact Cerisey herself) that are cheap but also good quality and fun to have?

Is this too Powerful?

I just got this unit of an amp for around $30, but I don't know if it is too powerful for most speakers. It is a Onkyo TX-SR601(remote not included) and works like a charm. I got a pair of weak speakers for it but they would be decimated if used for this thing, and I am not looking forward to getting any speakers any time soon. So are there any speakers that would possibly work with this thing without being completely destroyed in the process, or should I sell it and use the money for donation?

Edit: the purpose of this amp is to listen to music as I am an audiophile, nothing else.

CRT Loss

I'm sorry in advance for saying these horrifying things about a loss of a working CRT, but I need to know if anyone's been in a situation like this before. I had originally gone to a goodwill with my sister where there are two parts of the store. The first part was an actual store where all the goods that people donate go to sell for a reasonable price, but then there is the second part of the store where the combination of all the products that no one bought are brought to be put into large shallow buckets for people to sift through. In the case for all the products that no one takes from the buckets, they are taken and compressed into a large machine and sent to the actual dumpster, or in the case for cloths, they are reused for reuse to make newer cloths. For most of the buckets, there are only cloths, but sometimes you get lucky and there is a bucket of vintage electronics with speakers, phones, and even better CRTs. For the CRTs, they are very rare due to the value they have for people who collect or even use them for vintage electronics. For me, it would have been my first CRT purchase that I would use for vintage computers or even for my vintage consoles. The CRT was manufactured by Panasonic(maybe) and seemed to be from the early 2000's with its front of its tube being flat. Other than that, it would have been my first purchase as in liquidation it would have sold for about $15 usd, but my sister was a controversial figure at play as if I were to purchase it, she would not drive me home and I would have to walk home a 1hr and a half drive with a heavy piece of equipment. There was also my dad who is a mechanical, and partly an electrical engineer, who would not allow me to do maintenance on the old tele as the cause for an electrifying death. Other than those roadblocks, I ended up being really bumbed and having to put the CRT back into one of the buckets for processing. Now I can never get the story out of my head as CRTs are pretty darn expensive for a kid who does not have a job. To get back to the main idea, do any of y'all have a situation like this one or similar story? It would make me feel better as I would love to know if anyone has been in a situation like mine before. And for my story to be an older one when I was in 9th grade, it comes to no surprise that I still can't do CRT maintenance as my dad is still deathly afraid of them and is simply looking out for my safety. Please let me know, as it would satisfy me in my journey.

T20 IBM Thinkpad Not Working

I had gotten a vintage thinkpad from an Estate sale for pretty cheap. I brought it with its corresponding floppy drive, optical drive, and even an expansion storage drive. I got home and booted it up without any error, until 3 days later when I was downloading games and it just glitched and died. I booted it back up and started glitching out. Now 2 months later, I opened it back up and it seems to do random things. Sometimes it boots up the loading screen, sometimes it beeps one long and two short beeps saying it had an error with communicating with the screen, and sometimes it just brings me up to a screen showing that windows just shut down and there are different ways to boot such as normal boot or safe boot(etc). I have tried to fiddle around with the RAM, and got it to work a little but with varying success and am now only working with one 256mb card in it. I also have replaced the cmos battery using just a normal coin battery that a regular cmos battery would be, and that seemed to work surprisingly. Other than that, it could be a board problem or a faulty copastor, but I really don't know. If anyone has an idea of what's going on or if this is a common issue with these kinds of computers I would love to know. This is my very first time trying to fix a problem with a vintage computer and I know very little on what I am doing.

On a scale of 1-10, What is the difficulty on fixing a Sony MZ-1 MD Player?

I am just curious as to know if fixing a Sony MZ-1 MD player is difficult. I have one but in non-working condition, so I am just curious before I start taking it apart what kind of difficulties would arise if I did attempt to fix it. But in hindsight, the ejection button does not work nor does the disc reader work, but it seems to try to read it. Do any of y'all have any suggestions on what to do?

What kind of Player am I looking for?

I got a hold on some old Memorex Minidiscs for a good price and now am looking for a specific minidisc player. I do know that minidisc players are a little expensive, but I can easily save and look for one in the future. I have seen a couple when I went to a trade fair, and they seem to come in two different ideas on how you load the MD. The first is the cheapest, you have to open a pop-up slot that you are able to put the disc in a close. The second is the one I am looking for, where you don't have to pop open a slot but instead insert the minidisc like a floppy disc into the player. If you can please help me, I don't know what kind of player that is called. I do enjoy weird formats of media, and I hope I am able to use this player plentily.

My First Guitar, how do I fix???

I got this old guitar from a friend of mine who was selling it for around $55, and he said it did not work. Maybe I was excited to be purchasing a vintage guitar that I would use, but it soon bit me back. I then purchased it and tested it and figured that one of the soldering points was bad, and I knew I could fix it. However, that is not the case and now I have a piece of technology that I know very little about and am having trouble comprehending. Someone must have picked this guitar for parts and for some reason also removed ALL the cords from it so now I don't know what goes where and how to put it together. I don't know what to do, what pickups I should install, or how to even wire it up. If there is anyone who knows what they are doing to fix older guitars, may you please help me as I am stuck in a rock in a hard place. I really want to learn how to play an instrument as I am trying to do different things to grow myself and find a suitable hobby to exercise. Also, I did read the rules and I could not find a serial number for the actual guitar, however you can probably find a similar guitar on eBay or something of that nature to use as a reference.

Is there a way to get Commodore Games onto Cassette

I have seen the cassette player for the commodore play games; however, I have also seen the same games which are downloadable on certain forums. I wanted to ask if there is a way to take those downloadable games on the forums, such as Mayhem in Monsterland, and put them on cassettes so you are able to play them without actually buying the expensive original Cassette or Floppy. I have done research into seeing if I can put the games onto 5.25 in floppys, but it seems too complex and complicated. So, I was wondering, since I want to get an inexpensive commodore experience, if I could put Commodore 64 games onto Cassettes using modern computers and engineering tactics. I also do know that you can simply get an sd card adaptor, but I see no fun in that as I really want to get the full experience of waiting and watching the screen for the computer to load my game. Finally, if there is a way to get games onto 5.25 floppys, please let me know as I already have a player that works and is hooked up to the Commodore. If yall have any solutions, please let me know, I am very interested.

Sears Super Pong (Restoration Help)

I have a vintage Sears Super Pong that is really cheap, but I want to fix as it is one of my first electronics that would be a step in the right direction to help me fix vintage computers. I could not find any schematics of the actual machine, so I am not able to repair it. If anyone has any way of retrieving any sort of schematics that would be great as I have no idea where to get them.

Is there a way I could possibly have someone teach me how to fix vintage computers

I got an Apple Power Macintosh G3 for free a couple of weeks ago, and I immediately removed that tiny explosive PRAM battery. That was the easiest fix in the computer, however there are still some compactors that I need help to fix. I don't really have any way on learning how to fix these old machines as I am a very visual learner and can't just watch a person online show you how to fix components on a board. I do need help as I need a teacher to possibly help me teach me into the vintage computer community. Is there a website or something that I could look up people who I could physically drive to and have them help me teach me how to fix my old electronics or is it kind of one of those things where you have to pick it up yourself. As my Power Macintosh does work and is my first vintage computer, I really don't want to break it and possibly making it parts or scrap for it the bin.

I was wondering if any people on this community have any models of a keycap for the keyboard on a TI-99 4A. The reason I ask is because I can't seem to find one online and I am not good a cad or any other 3d modeling software like it. If so, then can you please send me a link as I am in a bit of a rock in a hard place with this computer keyboard being finished.

Need help with Windows Login

I am following directions online to try and get my password back for my computer. I found this YouTube video that explains something with the c drive and accessing system 32 and all this other stuff that I followed all the way through till the end of the video. I did all the beginning part of the video where you have to press the restart button, and then shut off the computer, and then press this "recommended button" in the bios. I waited for windows to load and give me a prompt to where it shows me something went wrong, and I say no, but that didn't show up and instead this thingy did. It wants a password, BUT I DONT KNOW THE PASSWORD!!!! I would like to use this computer and probably put Linex on it, but I can't achieve that dream unless I unlock the computer first. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know, I am personally in a rock in a hard place. I don't care about anything on the computer as a long time ago I thought of backing up everything and it ended up being the right move. So, I don't care what happens to the information on the computer, I already have it anyways.
