Nintendo may have acquired Xenosaga

The trailer for XBC2: Switch 2 Edition revealed that MOMO, a Xenosaga character, will be added as a cameo Blade.

Users noticed that the announcement had no BANDAI licensing watermark, leading to speculation that Nintendo could have acquired the rights themselves.

Supposedly Bandai removed Xenosaga from their Japanese licenses webpage between October and November of last year.

The PS6 sure sounds like a handheld

"Here's what I think: Sony is making a handheld PS6, as has been reported for some time, but it's no longer a side dish — it might even be the main course. The Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, respectively the company's best-selling and fastest-selling game consoles, have cemented that a do-it-all console-handheld hybrid is the most popular and profitable kind of console yet.

Sony will still make a beefy box for the living room to compete with Xbox and PCs, but the price may be so outlandish amid RAMageddon that traditional console buyers won't be able to justify the spend. It'll be the unnecessary but nice-to-have "PS6 Pro," perhaps. While the handheld won't be cheap, either, it'll be the only way to play Sony's big single-player games on the go — Sony will no longer let gamers think they can buy a PC handheld to play PlayStation exclusives."

In defense of Nintendo's Game Key Cards and wow Sony could have handled physical games on their rumored PS6 handheld.

I think GKC are a great way to have a retail presence, have a copy of a game that someone can trade, lend/borrow, rent or sell instead of having a code in a box, and it doesn't put the burden of extra costs on publishers by having to purchase expensive NAND for cartridges.

Game Key Cards are Nintendo's way to have a retail presence... have a copy of a game that some can trade, lend or sell (instead of having a code in a box).

Nintendo is keeping their games on physical cards, but providing options shouldn't been seen as a negative.

There is no perfect solution, and other handhelds do not use carts. With a Steam Deck, an Xbox Rog Ally X, Legion Go, the only option is digital games with no retail presence. Nintendo has done what it can to appease physical gamers, or parents or children buying games at retail stores for example.

And my question is: With rumors the PS6 having an additional handheld version, how Sony could solve the issue of bringing the same physical retail games to the handheld?

That's a problem that could be solved with the Game Key Card idea that Nintendo had. You could have a Game Key Card that fits both the PS6 and PS handheld, and not have the game tied to an account, so you would still have access to the secondary/used market and retail deals.

But the Internet (well, Reddit) decided that Game Key Cards are evil just because the hate-boner they have for Nintendo, when in reality is the perfect and affordable "physical" solution for handhelds.

Do not think about GKC as a physical replacement, but as a code-in-the-box solution/alternative.

I want to talk about a very annoying, rare, and hard to diagnostic bug, but relatively easy to fix once you know how to do it related to webcams and audio devices not working

So, I really don't know how/where the bug exactly originates. I'm not sure if it a hardware bug, a merely Windows bug, but I know it can be fixed via software.

There's a very annoying bug that happens with webcams, but I'm not sure if it related to the brand of the webcam, or the brand of the laptop/PC. The reason I'm saying this is because I have seen thig bug mentioned with Acer branded laptops, Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra cameras, but I also have seen this bug mentioned with Logitech cameras.

So, I have an Acer Predator Triton laptop (Model: PT14-51-78B4): https://www.acer.com/us-en/predator/laptops/triton/triton-14/pdp/NH.QLNAA.001

I also have an external Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra webcam: https://www.razer.com/streaming-cameras/razer-kiyo-pro-ultra

Windows 11 for some reason breaks when I plug in the camera. It happens in Windows 11, and it has happened at least since 2023 when U bought the camera. It happens on fresh clean installs of Windows, on updated Windows, on every version. It always happens. The camera crashes and it can't be used at all. It happens with or without the Razer apps (which I prefer not to use). Not only that, but it also makes the integrated webcam to crash and won't work again unless I reboot and unplug the webcam. I know how to fix it, but let me give you another bug I found a couple of days ago related to this.

So, for my laptop, I recently got a Dell Thunderbolt 5 dock. It is plugged in via USB-C (obviously) into the laptop. Well, the dock doesn't have a 3.5 mm jack for my Logitech Z625 speakers. So I purchased a Ugreen USB-C to 3.5 mm cable (with a built-in DAC). I have tested the cable on several devices and it works perfectly, except on said laptop. When I open Settings > Devices > Audio I can see the Ugreen cable in there for a few seconds, and then it crashes and it never appears again. All Audio devices crash and won't work again unless I restart the laptop.

Well, I formatted my PC last weekend, and I forgot to do the fix I need to do for the webcam.

When I plug in the camera, the Razey Kiyo Pro Ultra appears correctly in Device Manager under Cameras. But it also appears under Sound, video and game controllers. You just need to disable the webcam in there, and then everything works perfectly. Perfectly. And once I disabled the camera from there, my USB-C to 3.5 mm cable and audio devices got fixed too.

The problem is the webcam and it getting under the Sound, video and game controllers tab.

I have seen this mentioned a couple of times before, but it is very hard to diagnostics. Just wanted to bring visibly to this bug for other users.
