Ubisoft Connect is a fucking disease to our society
R6 is the only Ubisoft game I have played in the last ten years. I just started playing this game last week. Every game on Steam starts under 30s but this fking game takes 1.5-3 min to start because of this stupid Ubisoft launcher. The game crashed a few times but I tolerated it until it corrupted my AMD GPU driver today...

Should I give up on being able to watch this documentary? 《给十九岁的我》(英语:To My Nineteen-Year-Old Self)
I am a little bit aware of the controversy behind this documentary causing it to get pulled from the theatre. I figure maybe I could stream it somewhere on the internet but I couldn't find any source at all.
Is there any rewards for getting high scores for each hide out? Beside the shrine unlocks and bragging right?
reddit.comI love how Florentino is getting banned every match now
Keep up the good work guy. The only flip side is DongHuang and Liang are free now…
Anyone played Sifu?
Everyone probably has heard about Sleeping Dog before. Well, this one is another rare good game that has FULL CANTONESE VOICE ACTING. The game doesn't specifically states so but it's definitely set in Hong Kong (I mean you can't look at the window view and tell me it's not mirroring Hong Kong's landscape).
Your father, a Kung Fu master, was killed by his disciple. You witnessed it and grow up to seek vengeance. The disciple is now a triad leader and you have to raid through his many hideouts to find evidence and confront him.
You start at 20 years old. Every time you die, you can choose to continue right where you are but you will become older. The more you die, the quicker you age and eventually you will die permanently when you reach certain age and will have to restart the level or even the whole game. The older you are, the more skills you have access to while having less health.
It's a beat-em-up game with emphasis on combo, movement, parry and dodging. It's not a one button smashing game at all. It requires you to do various things to manage your surrounding to not get overwhelmed by your enemies.
Playing this game serious bring me back to the old era of Hong Kong's kung fu and triad movies. The Cantonese voice acting makes it even more immersive.
I'm applying for jobs and trying to learn how to spot fake LMIA posting
This one gotta be fake, right? The hourly rate is quite high for the position and the job descriptions are very generic. Who on earth would expect a Junior accountant to supervise 3-4 staff if any at all? Any other tips to avoid these fake posting? Maybe not using Jobbank at all?
What accounting/non accounting related job titles should I search for?
I finally got my CPA earlier this year. I got terminated today due to job performance and now looking for a new job. Now that I don't have to force myself to work in the field to gain practical experience, I feel like I'm free to explore other job options. I want to see if it's possible to leverage my CPA to pivot away from the typical accounting jobs like financial reporting, audit, tax, etc. Can you please suggest some job titles or keywords that I can search up? Thanks.
I just started Saints and Sinners 1 today, loving it so far, but some of the mechanics just kill the immersion
What was the reasonings behind in making:
- Unlimited walkers spawns in the same day? Like I will take down a walker, turn a round for two seconds and another walker will just spawn at the same spot out of nowhere. It doesn't feel immersive and make resource management kind of pointless.
- Human enemies have no concept of noises. I'm doing the first quest at the blue mansion. At first I was being careful to sneak around and all, then realize these I can just shoot my way through the house because unalerted enemies don't react to sounds. This is really baffling to me and again, kills the immersion instantly.

Got terminated without cause today. Worth it to consult a lawyer?
Employer: publicly traded with employees number in the hundred.
Position: Accountant
Length of service: 2 years and 4 months.
Salary: $63K
Termination reason: nothing was cited officially but HR told me verbally "performance issue" as I received "unsatisfied performance" review two years in a row.
What I'm getting:
- ESA entitlement of two weeks pay + accrued vacation.
- Severance payment: roughly two weeks of pay + one month of outplacement service ONLY AFTER I SIGN A RELEASE FORM basically giving up all my right to take any actions against the company in the future. They are pressing me to sign it within one week.
I'm wondering if I have a chance of getting a bigger severance here and will it be worth if for me to contact an employment lawyer cost-benefit wise.
If this helps, my employment contract stated that the company only had to pay me the minimum ESA upon termination.
Thanks for answering.
Slow zones on line 1 are back, aren’t they?
It has been two weeks straight that line one north bound is going at turtle speed with random stops. I thought we were done with it😑
Is this email legit?
I’m able to log in to my online banking just fine a few hours after this email. The email doesn’t have any links to click on and the wording looks legitimate. Not sure what’s going on.
