I've been thinking about it a little and it made me curious. Most of the character's have 2 super's, and even one with 3 like Ozai, counting his Sozin/soldier air super. But both norra and avatar Aang have only 1 super.

I haven't played either of them yet, but isn't it a bad thing, or are they in specific fine with just one super to use?

When we get the fixes on them and Ozai we'll probably have visual one's to their animation's and sprites, like norra getting her chains and more loose hair and Ozai having more fluid stuff (I wish his moving kick stays the same though, he's too funny).

But if we get visual changes to finish the character's, could it include getting a super for both of them or would it be too much?

I started playing Xin yesterday, mainly on jungle and I had way more fun than I expected, and I'm definitelly going to get some hours on him. The only problem that I run through mostly was on champs that stat checked me like Trundle, Yi and specially Illaoi.

When I fighted Yi I got most of his HP down, but by a mere second he was always faster than me and killed me. Obviously he was faster in speed but also on cooldowns, and mostly he got saved by his Q by mere miliseconds if it was a duel of 1 on 1.

Of course, I probably did something wrong in there and I could have done something better, but when I tried to duel him or Trundle I struggled way more than I expected, coming that I did well in duels most of the time.

I won most of my other fight's due to playing with friend's and coordinating to try to have numerical superiority, but I didn't know how to deal with Yi or Trundle on 2 different games (to be fair once Trundle got ganked like 3 or 4 times for being reckless he stopped being dangerous, but before that.

The worst was on Illaoi. Even before she got fed I didn't have the balls to gank her, and when alone, I still got wrecked, even having sundered sky and black cleaver.

Is it just a thing that Xin struggles with or can something be done to work with that? With other character's like Shyvana, Anivia or Hwei I got it easier on just waiting for the moment to get a W and jump in and win

I'm returning after a long time. It didn't click the first time but right know the game is clicking to me and I'm having a lot of fun. Thing is, I'm not confident on getting the emperor Xian in time. I took my time conquering the first zone's as Cao Cao and some of the north (mostly for having war's declared or being near Han territory to take).

I have Luoyang from the Gongsun Shuxian faction way more further than me. And I'm with her and Liu Bei on a coalition, nothing bad is happening to me no matter what happen's, and I'm fairly strong either way...But would it be bad to have Luoyang catch emperor Xian before me?

And if so, what happens or what can I do, since I'm mostly looking for getting Dong Zhuo and at much try to get Lu Bu through schemes after Dong Zhuo falls, but besides that I'm starting to feel a bit loss or at the though of maybe having another opponent

I enjoy a good story and some good characterization, but most of my hours on a musou/warriors are on OPPW3, wich even if I love that game, is quite a simple one. The most hours I putted in OPPW3 was on the dream log, some on the free and treasure log from OPPW4 on the short time that I played and all that stuff.

And now that I've been itching for some more advanced musou game for some time, and now that I have a way to get money to buy stuff for myself, I'd like to ask for one with a balance of good gameplay and good side content to do.

I'd discard Origins because I don't like the idea of playing with 1 character, but besides that I'm open to both dynasty and samurai warriors!

I'm mostly used to the simple mechanic's and maps of PW3 and some of PW4, with the most "complicated" things being some bosses or maps changing a bit at times, but not much more, so I would enjoy something that can demand a lil of thinking or skill.

As an extra, better if I can just buy it via steam or similar platforms.

I'm thinking on just sharding the new Don ego for my middle team, but I'm seeing that the threadspin did help those two. I can shard Don's one if not both but it's better to ask first

After some time trying character's, I'm seeing that I'm liking Hibiki enough to main him. I love his izuna drop and his mix game looks fun with his "clones" and faints. I'm mostly starting slowly with the dustloop basic combos, but I don't have much idea of what to do on neutral besides or fainting lol.

Also, about his blockstrings. Checking on dustloop, I'm seeing that he mostly has frametraps and some oki stuff. Does he also use some left/right or up/down stuff or is it mostly mental stagger and frametraps?

I know, the game is not even out yet, and I wasn't even lucky to play the beta, but from watching beta gameplay and trailers nonstop for months, it sparked me again that passion for fgs. I've been 2 years or around that, maybe not far from 3 barely playing any fg for as much as I like the genre. I was burned out from GG, I was a bit bored with SF6, and at much I've been having some entertaintment trying to play tekken or cotw.

But NONE of those games made me excited like the trailers made me. Part of it was because I forgot that I had a preference for character based instead of system based fgs, and seeing completely different characters existing in the same game made me very curious and excited. It made me enough curious to start watching avatar to get some references and context on who was who, it's making me dig again into fgs and have that feeling of WANTING to play fgs again.

And now that I can get a lil money and we're a few days from getting the game out? I won't play it day one- SO I CAN GET SOME EXTRA MONEY AND BUY THE DELUXE EDITION TO SUPPORT THIS GAME. It's the first time I get a deluxe edition of a game, and it's gonna be so exciting to try Iroh, to try Lin or whoever comes as the chosen dlc character. But mainly, it's to really support this game, as I sincerely wish we can get a good support and lifespan.

I'm even thinking of this time trying hard enough to go to some tournament! I'm shy as fuck and I never had the balls to even try an online tourney in any game, but since I really want to play and learn this game (specially Zaheer, I LOVE that screwed up man and the red lotus), I'm even thinking for the first time on trying to go on some tournament at some point.

My wording is not the best and this is me being a new ATLA AND Avatar fg fanboy, but I want to share the passion that I got through time by the IP and this game. It's gonna be so fun, and I can't wait to get the deluxe and get to play

I'm out of lunacy and tickets but if I get the railway in a bit less than 5 days I can gamble the ticket rewards in trying to get dawn Faust and Gregor, and I'd like to use the teams that can work best on it to do it before walp ends.

I think it was when reaching Alexandría or going to Alexandría for the first time yesterday that a small text popped up for a moment about toggling or activating a guaranteed instant stealth kill. I looked around on the menus and I didn't find it

I'm having fun learning basic AK stuff, but I'm not being a big fan of his outfits, at much outfits 3 and 4. I haven't found in google or in the game if there's any way of unlocking it or buying it, and I'd like to use the outfit if it's possible in the game

I know firelord Azula is the one being more played currently, and I completely see why, but I haven't really saw any footage of focused mode besides of some zoning and one combo :c

At the start, I though it would be just a funny collectable quest of different cars, to get some eddies, maybe some compensation from the cab guy that is basically Delamain. And then I had fun catching the first cars, seeing that each had some sort of personality, while I kept playing and doing gigs and some story.

Then, after a couple of days ago resuming my playthrough, to not speed up the story I kept doing gigs and secondary stuff, and one of those were the Delamain remaining cars.

And I had to raise an eyebrow when it kept getting weirder. They all looked like they had some reason to run, they all were different, and even one was a GlaDOS reference. It made me confused, and I didn't get if it was funny weird stuff of the ai cars or actually them having personalities and reasons.

At the last car (the >!suicidal!< one) I did get a weird feeling from Delamain as an entity. There was something wrong in it's whole existence if there's not only different parts of his supposed personality, but one capable of driving and getting against junk on an action that I understood as >!chosen suicide!<>!, to go off!< before getting added to Delamain again, more when there was already one that at least fortunatelly cowered and stepped back after talking with V.

Then there's the last mission of Delamain. To get to the HQ, deal with the bots and go to his core while hearing them indeed having their own personalities, none of them wanting to co-exist with Delamain.

It was also a bit confusing but interesting to read the emails on the computers, how it slowly kicked out the whole work force of the company to just remain Delamain there, with some comment about the vodoo boys or something, I have to re-read him.

Then I reached the core, and Johnny got in front of V and told him to not reset the core. I was with Johnny, to try to merge the personalities on one Del instead of resetting him and effectivelly killing them, and I didn't though of destroying the core to free the Del's.

But I acted on impulse. I saw the two option's and how I couldn't choose the INT one, and I pressed to reset the core. I felt bad as Johnny very understandably got upset and told V that he was one sick son of a bitch or something on those lines.

I felt weird when I picked the Del cab for the next side quest that I did. I want to do it right in a next run, and it made me see the charm in Night City and it's quest. Phantom Liberty is gonna be intense if a collectable side quest is that good

I'm on my first run, resuming it after a few months of playing other stuff. I've been doing some gigs around before keeping on with the story, and I'm noticing that I'm having some trouble to do melee damage or to get close to enemy groups or sniper's. I have fun using Rebecca's shotgun and a rifle, but I don't know if maybe I need some late game stuff or not to start doing unga bunga melee damage

Mostly about Lau Chan and about Secure Boot & TPM 2.0.

On the game's page on steam, it appears that I don't have either one or both of these security things, and I haven't found much on google. I only play multiplayer content in any fg (and training), and I don't know if I could have some trouble playing online content without any of those things,.

The other thing is about Lau Chan as a character, to be informed further than his character guide on the official VF channel. I was having some little fomo and curiosity about picking VF to prepare for Crossroads, to maybe pick Jacky or Goh.

The Bakunawa killer trailer complety sold me, I really like how he moves in the trailer, and with all the kung fu stuff and conversation's on here I'm seeing that it would be cool to play some Lau Chan before Crossroads (or Lei Fei, but I think it's out of my league, taking in account that it's my first VF and I'm not even a 3D fg player). More when he doesn't look hard for a beginner

So, besides the security thingy, what type of character is Lau Chan? Does he use his stance in combo's or it's mostly a pressure/neutral tool?

I know it's a bit of a noob question, but for as much as I'm liking the game, I'm still having a hard time to acclimatate and learning how it works, from the combos to defending. The two things I'm struggling more are being pressure and defense, and at least with pressure I'm slowly learning to use more light hits and the cancel's to get some +2 or +1 here and there to try to keep the pressure.

But one that I'm not getting is defense, and I haven't found much on youtube besides of a tutorial WAY more helpful than the ingame tutorial, but not drills or ways to practice just defense to get used to tap back without risking getting a combo.

So, is there any good video or guide to practice the defensive mechanics of this game?

I'm coming back after a bunch of time trying some character, not feeling interested and going to other games. Now I'm feeling interested thanks to Wilnas and I'm looking to be learning him, and I don't really know what to do on the corner besides of using 5M, far L and maybe go from time to time for a grab if I'm close enough.

Also, it can't be used on pressure, and I'm seeing it more as a starter for punishing very negative moves like dp's...But I saw that besides of the silly scaling, 6H makes me +5 and not too far from the opponent. It is useful for oki if the other person doesn't has a good reversal or a dp to fish for?

I though this game would come out on some point of next year or so, and I saw now that is releasing sooner than I expected and with character's that get my attention (coff coff Magneto coff coff Wolverine and Magik). So, I don't think there's any fg similar to a 4 character tag, but I think it's worth asking if there's any game good enough to warm up for Tokon.

Dbfz? umvc3? Skullgirls?? This post is mostly out of curiosity but It would be nice if there was one good to prepare from before

First of all, I don't know if discussion is the adequate label, correct me there if I have it wrong.

And, I know both works for learning basic stuff, focusing in general mechanics, but I am curious about it after trying both of their combo trials out of boredom.

After a bit of time without touching the game at all and getting my ass handed with Joe, I'm starting to see that maybe I could get first on a more simple character and focus on using the general systems correctly first, and those two are the most simple (to play at first and on a lower level) that I could find and think of, maybe Rock as an extra.

And also, it's always interesting to see other people's opinions and point of view, since I have very little experience and a lot of curiosity

Before I start ranting about it, besides of having spoilers on this post, I think it's important that I share the important fact that I probably can't understand it from my own point of view and experiences probably, I haven't found another reason. But still, it pains me, it makes me a bit confused and I can't really understand a "logic" or "how" to Saikai and in consecuence the relationship's that Ryoshu has with Araya and Rien, and I specially can't understand Araya's decision.

Also, I know I'm a few months late, but I just played it recently, it's still my 3rd favorite canto With that addressed, I don't even know how to structure or tell my rant or feelings about it, but the main thing is that I don't get it and I want to vent it somewhere.

I guess the first point is the feelings? The feelings that Saikai talks about, the feelings that Araya ends up still having for Ryoshu. I really liked and felt a bit close to the >!"Araya waits for no one!"!< moment, the >!"hate" and wrath Araya has for Ryoshu for thinking of abandoning her and letting her in that state, even if it wasn't really Ryoshu's fault fully.!<

But besides the very emotional bossfight and the >!muga!< moment after it, I truly can't understand the moment >!Araya "sacrificed" herself to still connect Ryoshu with Dante by the chain, to keep their bond and be the scabbard as her E.G.O.!< Why? WHY did she do that, wasn't best to run and not look back, to be free>! from pain and enclosure, out of that spiderweb once that everyone there was dead and Rien for sure was going to die?!< Why suddenly forgive >!all that pain and anger just for mom, who's already destroying herself.!<

And the same goes for her ID of the Blade of the HoS, even if I mostly connect it for a phrase that I'm completelly agreeing, wich is "let us forget all. Erase all. I will forget and erase myself. And you too, will be forgotten" and the rest of the phrase from her trailer. Even if I agree from a subjective and more positive standpoint of my own point of view.

I sincerely believe that it's not a bad thing. Let it be forgotten, erase all the pain and memories, the hate and the happiness, so something new could be born from that void, to ">!erase me and erase you!<", so in any new memory or experience, a new me can enjoy it and no one else, so something better could be born from that erasure by keeping on living.

Of course, that is talking about the phrase and how I see it, from her lore is maybe the most agonizing and sad thing Limbus has written for Limbus, wich is a high ceiling.

But it circles again to the unsevering, to Ryoshu, Araya and Saikai. Specially to Saikai. No matter how much I listen to it and read the lyrics, I still can't get it. Is really love like that? Can threads really never be cut? HOW >!is sacrifice the easy path?!< I really can't understand it, and I'm even starting to think that I'm just overthinking it that much.

At least with Tian Tian I got it. I didn't like it because I have a very different point of view in mortality and inmortality, but I UNDERSTOOD THE SONG AND THEME.

I don't have anyone to rant about it so here it goes. Oh and I only mention Rien once because I don't have a problem that bad with understanding him, since a bunch of him is being >!a puppet of Hermes!<. He's t>!he same waves he talked about before his dead, he remains frozen and his darling daughter will never remember to unfreeze him.!<
