Hey guys, first off thank u all for giving me tips for my first USPSA match. Did one and a GPA match and im in love with these sports

With that being said, I want to shoot 1 gpa and 1 USPSA match a month. I am dry firing every day and was curious if I really need to do any live fire in my free time if im shooting these matches twice a month? Should i potentially limit to doing either a GPA or a USPSA match a month and dedicate a day out of the month to live fire?

Reason I ask is I want to make sure im not being dumb with my money and keeping a balance. That is something i struggle with Lol

Ive been in the industry as an engineer for around 6 years, I am a co owner of a MSP style company and ive been stressed out to the wall for over 1.5 years and a majority of our clients I handle nearly alone. The market we operate in is on the downhill as well.

I wanted to ask, if I leave a few people may be without jobs and I might always wonder "what if" if i kept building this company with my co founders.

I wanted to ask, is my career growth and mental stress worth getting a new gig? I believe if I pivoted id be able to do a lot better with career progression and job security

Volusia gun club did a damn good job but due to the complication of two setups, i went blank and forgot to hit some targets

Looking forward to coming out again, the nerves were insane

Asking for advice / tips for my first time

For over a year I’ve lived in this condo with my fiancee, long story short the guy above me is freshly divorced and moved in around the same time. In the beginning he’d randomly cause a lot of noise and have friends over and I didn’t think much of it. As time has gone on he has gone full deep into cocaine. He is constantly partying every other day and I cannot sleep and am in fear of my life due to him dealing (he admitted to me he sells cocaine for a living and brings people to his condo to sell to).

I have spent the last 8 months trying to do everything right. I’ve called the cops well over 20 times, been to the HOA condo association to report the incident over 40 times, 30 of which are documented, I’ve tried calling code, I’ve tried filing crime tips, I’ve tried talking to detectives. Nothing … no one cares.

Worst part is I signed another year lease which will be done in Feb. I have 80ish k and was planning to save another 20 by the end of the lease to get a house. I’m now trying to negotiate with my landlord and management company to let me leave early and I can line that up with purchasing a house.

Ive been shooting for quite a while and recently wanted to go hunting for the first time. I will be traveling to the UP in Michigan and was curious what gun I should take for deer hunting.

I own the following

1970s Mossberg500

2000s 870 Police

940 JM Pro

1950s SKS

Out of these options, which one do you believe would be best suited for hunting? Im leaning more towards my 500 because Id just need to drop the wooden dowl in to restrict capacity while my SKS id need to change the mag out

My fiancee and I are 21, been together for over 4 years and engaged for 2 months. Our lease ends and feb, and long story short I do not want to renew because my neighbor is dealing drugs out of his unit and is noisy every night, it's driving me insane and she sleeps through it.

I have a little over 80k in savings and am wanting to buy a house in February when the lease ends given the market is crazy and id be paying the same in rent.

She originally proposed the wedding in September and got mad when I told people thats what we were planning because it wasnt "set". To compromise I told her Sep-December

Both of our families come from poor backgrounds and I need to pay for the entire wedding in cash. I am proposing I set the budget to ~10k for ~40 people as that is what I can afford and with buying the house (30-40k including closing costs) I will STILL have a large emergency fund and investments in the event of an emergency or job loss

I just need some advice on how to handle this

Ive been in the industry for around 6 years now, when I was much younger every second of my free time was spent learning computers as a whole and continuously tinkering with things like networking, pentesting, etc. Now after 6 years, I want to spend my time AWAY from the computer. Im writting this to ask, how do you all continue to advance your skills if youre in a similar boat, for me, my day-to-day work continues to challenge me and make me a better engineer. But, often times I wish I had the passion I used to.

Girlfriend and her family want to go on a 4-day cruise. I don't drink, and I'm assuming it might get pretty wild. For anyone who's done one, what are some fun things to do without drinking? Is it really as rowdy as people say, or does it depend on the cruise?
