I'm relatively new to Linux as a whole, and have been o Fedora a few months.

Any recommendations as to how to make it as secure as possible without crippling functionality?

Everyone seems to love it, but I'm not finding it that helpful in the moment! Lol

The above being said, I'm fine with finding out I wasn't doing something correctly!

There's no Reddit Desktop app, so I wanted to set Reddit up as a PWA in either Brave or Firefox. Are there browser adjustments that can keep me from having to enter all of my login information every time?

Also, I know there are extensions and such out there for Reddit. Are there any that actually improve the experience (and won't get me banned?)

When I say "each entry," I mean overtime I hit "Enter." I keep a running journal of some things that did/did not happen for weeks at a time, and I need to be able to accurately recall when entries were made. I know I can do it manually with almost anything, but I also know I can be forgetful as all hell when things get going.

If it were Android-friendly as well, that would be nice, but not a must.

On more than one occasion my effort to find my way in this new world has introduced me to software that, although established among the Linux community for quite some time, I had never heard of. Clearly I need to consider other sources as I build a knowledge base more applicable to this landscape, and was hoping people would share there "go to spots," with me.

I'm looking for remapping software that can work for Zorin 18so I can get all of the shortcuts I use down to a single key, and since Zorin is Ubuntu-based I figured this would cast as wide as net as possible.

Regarding such software, does it only work with keyboards noted as being a "macro," "programmable," or "mechanical," keyboard, or can the right software effectively turn something as simple as a second numberpad or mini keyboard into a macro keypad?

I was reading about the new edition yesterday and, although not perfect, it sounds amazing!

I'll admit I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet though because I'm pretty new to Linux and don't know if Kodaci is something I need to build up to, or whether not the MASSIVE repository of knowledge built into it would br just what I'd need to be able to learn to swim in those waters without drowning.

There may not be such a thing, but I'm looking for a skin-pack compatible with Zorin 18 designed to look like KITT's dash.

I'm setting up Mullvad on Zorin (18) OS (Linux) and want to understand the correct relationship between Mullvad's tunnel and any system-level proxy settings configured in the OS network manager.

Should the system proxy be disabled entirely when Mullvad is active? Does Mullvad's kill switch interact with or override OS-level proxy settings?

Are there any known Linux-specific gotchas with this combination that I should address during initial setup rather than troubleshoot later?

My computer was absolutely WRECKED by a hypervisor attack (so much so that I need a new motherboard now). The thing is, I have some expensive TB4 SSD's that could be infected, and I can't afford to chance my laptop but plugging them in to scan and clean them.

Then I wondered is it possible for me to put put a scanner/AV solution on an old phone and run it that way?

For all I know, it's a terrible idea that could never work, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.
