How is the Raven if You Aren’t Using it to AoE Buff?

My next character is gonna be a psyker because I really wanna use that augment that makes your force sword attacks crazy but you aren’t able to use powers other than those given to you by a sword or staff.

I plan on blade dancer into assassin because between arch militant, assassin, executioner and grand strategist it seems the best built for close combat exclusively since I won’t have access to any fancy fire abilities (but Hendrix is gonna have a lot of fun).

But I had a thought, psyker’s can always become an overseer, but I’d unfortunately be stuck with the Raven (trust me I wish I could get the Eagle I know how awesome it would be).

So, if I’m not using the raven to buff my entire party, how is it at other tasks? I know a bit of AoE attacks, and giving you more MP but that seems about it.

Who Can Easily Beat Nightmare?

I finally unlocked it yesterday, I thought I'd just barrel through it with knight, who I was using to barrel through danger 5 and grind elites (vorpal sword FTW), but nope, so I did it with Creature because if he snowballs he snowballs but again nope, decided multitasker but never got another stick.

I just want to unlock the new potato, get the achievement, and never look at Nightmare again I don't like difficulty for the sake of difficulty in general, and just want the game to be platinumed again.

FINALLY got Nightmare

Last danger 5 was Creature in the Abyss, I just did a Knight run, lost at level 8, I'll be back to it tomorrow (it's midnight and I'm not in a mood for Brotato now that I'm finally done) but for now I'm just glad to be done with the first part, and finally get to close the tab I had asking people for easy characters to win rank 5 with.

Welp, I just Wasted 45 Minutes and Some Macca

So, a week or so ago I picked back up Vengeance, no clue why I put it down, I love SMT, like I know why I put down 5 when it first came out (BD/SP the week after), anyway.

I was using Dominion as my buffer, so perfectly set up, and I was eagerly waiting to get Ganesha since I could fuse right one to the other.

But I decided to use Sui-Ki for a bit instead, I finally hit level 57 and could get my elephant buffer.

But, well, my buff skills couldn't go right one into the other, so I do some fusing, get it down, use demons, back and forth, and end with them finally.

Then I went to look at what I'd do next, and I saw it, level 58, Lachesis... who I'm gonna need to fuse anyway to get the special fusion...

So, I just spent 45 minutes running around the world to get weak demons, using macca on demons I couldn't naturally find, and ended up with the buffer I'd wanted a few days ago, just to realize, "I just nee4ded one level and I could have had a better buffer with more MP, and hung onto Megido..."

So yeah, TL;DR I just spent 45 minutes to get a demon I was planning on using just to realize a better one I could get with less work was one level away lol

Did the Last Season Pass go On Sale When the DLC Was Released?

Odd question, but I was having problems with getting my pass through Gamebillet, so was the DLC put on sale when it was released before?

Been years so I don't remember, but saving a few bucks is always worthwhile, the thing I'm asking is if you think there will be a sale in 3 days when the first DLC comes out.

Don't care if it's major, just a discount, I would have saved five bucks if it weren't for my card being annoying.

What are Some Horror Focused Supplement's?

I just generally like reading random books, and a genre I particularly enjoy is horror, books like Cypher's Stay Alive or first edition Pathfinder's Horror Adventures.

Books that talk out general horror uses, some interesting mechanics, and my favorite part discussing horror niches and how to incorporate them.

Like, even if you aren't gonna play the system, you could probably find something useful in how to fit the general vibe of that horror genre, or get some niche movie or book recommendations, like I remember one (but I don't remember the book) bringing up a Mexican Mystery which was an early example of sentient machines.

TL;DR What are some RPG books that discuss horror genre's and how to use them in games?

It was Right there... I'm Devastated...

I've been grinding Danger 5 today to unlock nightmare, I only had three beforehand because I really don't like difficulty for the sake of difficulty, I grinded out elites with knight and just let it lay.

For days, if not a week or so, I've tried to complete the codex, and no matter what one thing has eluded me, the DEX-troyer, I don't know why, I've played into overtime with luck in the 400's and 5 explosive weapons, all the other ones just showed up in one run, but DEX-troyer just hasn't been anywhere no matter how long I've tried.

I was doing my run as the Buccaneer, and it just showed up randomly, locked, and I was happy, that grind would be over and I was on my way to just focusing on getting the 5 more danger 5 runs I needed to finish...

I died, it wasn't a buzzer beater, I had 15 seconds still, I normally would have laughed it off but after I worked so long for one random weapon, it hurt more than when you had less than a second on level 20 for me...

I was so excited, I squealed for seconds, then just stared up into my hands when it was lost...

Did another quick run, failed again, definitely just gonna take a break, I've been playing Brotato all day anyway, but that was such a gut punch to me...

Freaking DEX-troyer, that thing's my white whale...

What are the Easiest Classes to Beat Rank 5 as?

I've done it as Knight in Crash Zone and Abyss, and I've done it as Beastmaster in Crash Zone, so I need two more rank 5 wins to unlock the new character, but I really am not a fan of difficulty for difficulty's sake, so anyone got character tips to take out the last 2 wins I need so I can just knight, nightmare and get the new guy?

Where do You Get an Omnibus Signed?

Gail Simone has a signing tomorrow, and I’m planning on going, naturally I’m gonna bring her Wonder Woman Omni (I mean I do have her run of Atom and Wonder Woman/Conan but let’s be real here).

So, do you typically get the dust jacket, or first page signed?

I’m just 6 things away from completing the codex, the sniper rifle and five legends (the only one I’ve gotten since the codex update is Excalibur).

I’ve been doing level 0 runs with curious, the sheer amount of items they can get has made things super easy, they’re why I so easily finished the items.

But weapons, I’ve gotten most of the purple ones with them, just IDK wondering if there’s an easier way.

I know, stack the same types to weigh in their favor I know just stack luck on luck on luck, and I know economy with piggy banks and bunnies, but other than that.

I mean, arms dealer is right there but I also really don’t like playing them.

So, should I keep with the Curious grinding, or is there someone better to try and get just a mass of weapons?

I've been trying to finish the codex since it was added, I had like six left but I'm down to these last two, I just wanna make sure they're both in the Abyss so I don't spend an hour on levels where they don't exist
