Is there a way to have numbers count from one to another?

Instead of having a messy transition, is there a way to make numbers count up quickly or down quickly

For example, instead of fading from 50 to 100 could I have it go? 51 52 53….97 98 99 100?

Without having to do this individually, because if I did it individually, it would not be very good looking

Another WEA 🥀

It isn’t a full year without getting one of these; this is like my 9th one of my life, still kinda cool, I hear these are rare but from my experience they slap this on anything that seems like it might do anything (also half the time they are wrong) which is understandable but might also ruin the point of using mobile alerts for like very rare storms

Il add this to my collection

Also idk why there’s that second bit above it, jf anyone knows if that’s a Apple thing or what.

Is it OK to use a slightly different air frame in the simulator than what everyone thinks you’re using

I’m curious if I could use a pax 737 (like Southwest or somthing) as a prime air 737F as long as I use my pilot client and use the correct callsign and icao aircraft type? A part of me thinks this would be fine since it doesn’t really affect others, however this could cause majors issues if someone used the total wrong plane however I’m just using cargo on a pax plane

The reason why is that i like to be someone correct with my routes but I only fly at like 2am US time

RIP to my most themed ride and one of my favorites.

Sadly, this and the ride next to it will be gone tomorrow to make way for a B&M hyper or a intamin launch.

it almost paid itself off, and the white one also paid itself off and then some, to fund this project.

Is there a way to make a ride wait for more people?

My ride only runs with about four people, but it has a train of seven cars which looks stupid however, every ride cycle it gets like seven people waiting however, if I made it wait, probably just two minutes longer it would fill up almost half way and look nice

Basically, is there a way to have the wait at the station longer? I already have it do three laps on the track to ensure that there is enough time to wait.

I need thoughts on this compass chart, which sorts disciplines by physical vs computer, and refined vs changing, to see how correct it could be, or how to improve.

The chart

TL;DR

My friend and I are creating an "engineering compass" that helps people understand the different fields of engineering and find areas they may be interested in. It organizes engineering disciplines based on how physical vs. digital they are and how established vs. rapidly developing they are. We know this is not a perfect representation of engineering, so we are looking for feedback from people with more experience in the field.

My friend and I both want to become engineers, and he had the idea to create a compass that can filter different types of engineering in multiple ways. The goal is to help people understand the different fields and possibly find which ones they might prefer.

Some of these fields are abbreviated because not all of them may make the final version if he decides to turn this into a real project. I am mostly helping with the GUI and design side of things, while the original idea was his.

The main goals of this project:

1. Filter majors by the jobs they can lead to

(Not shown yet, but it can be inferred.)

For example, someone working in aerospace engineering and someone working in nuclear engineering are more likely to have similar educational backgrounds than someone working in civil engineering and someone working with AI.

This helps show that one engineering major can lead to many different careers. We also plan to add an option to filter by common "umbrella" majors, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and others.

2. Show how connected engineering fields are while keeping it understandable

For example, software engineering and computer engineering are very closely related. However, computer engineering usually involves more physical systems and hardware, while software engineering is more focused on programming and digital systems.

3. Make engineering easier to understand for people outside the field

For example, someone looking at this chart could see that civil engineering usually focuses on proven, refined physical systems, while robotics engineering combines physical systems with programming and is constantly changing.

How the Axis Works

X Axis: Established vs. Developing

Moving left represents older, more established fields where a lot of testing and refinement has already happened. These include things like roads, buildings, and traditional machines.

Moving right represents newer and rapidly growing fields that are still developing and changing frequently.

Y Axis: Physical vs. Digital

Moving upward represents things that physically exist and can be interacted with, such as buildings, machines, and medical devices.

Moving downward represents things that are programmed, designed digitally, or mainly exist as software.

The Four Main Areas

Top Left: Refined Physical Systems

These are systems that people use every day, are proven to work, and are not mainly computer-based.

Examples:

  • Bridges
  • Roads
  • Buildings
  • Traditional machines

This is why civil engineering is located here, since it is one of the oldest and most established engineering fields.

Top Right: Developing Physical Systems

These are physical systems that are changing rapidly and have grown significantly in recent years.

Examples:

  • Robotics
  • Nanotechnology
  • Medical technology

These fields combine physical engineering with newer discoveries and technology.

Bottom Left: Refined Digital Systems

These are digital systems that have existed for a long time and are widely used.

Examples:

  • The internet
  • Phones
  • Control systems

There are not as many examples in this category, but it represents digital technologies that have become established and reliable.

Bottom Right: Developing Digital Systems

These are some of the fastest-changing areas of technology today.

Examples:

  • Artificial intelligence
  • Advanced software systems

These fields are growing extremely quickly and are mostly based around digital systems rather than physical objects.

Important Notes

We are not experts in engineering. If we were, this would likely have much more detail, but we are not claiming to have all the answers. We are asking for feedback from people who have more experience and knowledge in these fields.

We understand that AI is not exactly its own engineering field, but it has become such a major topic in today's world that we decided to give it its own section.

Some fields are intentionally not perfect circles on the chart. This is because many areas of engineering do not fit perfectly into one category. A field may be very established in one way but still rapidly changing in another.

For example, telecommunications engineering is constantly evolving, especially with modern technologies like 5G. However, older systems like landlines are still proven, reliable, and widely used.

We also understand that engineering, like many complex subjects, cannot truly be represented by a simple 2D chart. However, we hope this can still be useful for education and helping people better understand the connections between different engineering fields.

And lastly, yes this is ugly, but I made this in about an hour, since the real GUI will be very different.

Any feedback or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Is this too rough

I’m stuck between

Getting rid of it
Pros:
Cheap
Easy
Cons: it’s historical to the park

RMC
Pros: better ride
Improved fun and no more space needed
Cons: limited space and costs a bit

Keeping it how it is

I finally made a big coaster in advanced editor

Still working on names but it’s called project big blue (inspired by project purple) until it is opened

It pushes like -1.5 G airtime, 3.5 G vertical and i believe 1.2-1.5 sideways so a bit much but ok

I think I’m going to name it eye of the storm since it has a water, heart line roll, and a spiral.

Also I really like pre-lifts I’ve been making them on all of my rides lately

My laptop is only charging to about 74%. Is this something I need to be concerned about?

I use my laptop roughly 7 hours a day for school, money, and gaming

To be fair a lot of that time is just spent passively but I still consciously probably use it like three hours a day every day since December 2019 with only maybe two weeks off a year so basically this thing is abused

In 2022 I had water damage and I sent it in to be basically fully replaced

I treat it nicely and I use the same. I would use a tower. I probably take it off of the charger only for maybe five hours a year for example if I’m sick and I have to work from my bed. But besides that it sits in my room on an elevated pad for airflow, connected to a monitor and power all the time.

However, despite being on the charger, it’s only at 74% and will not charge any further. It used to be around 95 last time I checked earlier this year. I’m assuming this is just a battery life issue and that it’s not really able to hold a charge as well since it’s super old

I have it plugged in all the time but once I go off to college, that’s probably not going to be the case so I’m a little concerned about this

Am I the only one that is pissed they are turning JAI into somthing it isn’t?

I just rejoined again for the first time in like three months

37 out of my around 50 bots I talked to for years are gone or moderated

And for what? Cleavage or some shit?

Back in the day that was 50% of the reason we used janitor 🥀🤦

And it’s not even that I don’t like these bots are moderated because I understand people need to follow rules, but the rules are so stupid

This isn’t made to be family friendly money generator, it was originally way better as a smaller platform months back with less strict rules and limited input

Does anyone have any bots or tips that aren’t modern AI slop or low quality BS

Because frankly I miss the old janitor and I’m not tryin to go look in the deep web for alternatives that are probably even worse

I saved a coaster and now I’m not able to spawn it

I designed a coaster with advanced colors, but for some reason whenever I spawn it in, it does not let me spawn it

I don’t have the advanced colors game pass so I’m not sure why it let me use it in the first place but it’s a really big pain because I spent like seven hours on this and I already deleted it from my world recently

How does one per chance spawn something in without the advanced colors?

Fixed/made the marina Bridge better

The first issue that was really large for no reason for such a small island it could be much smaller and also in real life these usually open from one direction

In addition, I placed a sidewalk, which would let people of the island walk to work since it’s a pretty small island

I didn’t have my spray paint so that yellow is just for the crosswalk

And yes, it can still fit all of the vehicle

I love construction projects like this so if you have any suggestions, let me know

Have any of you flown United to Chicago or other regional flights?

I was doing a deep dive on FOE (the airport in the south) and saw they operated flights on United to Chicago in the early 2010s, i was wondering if this was common or if that ment people did it or just if anyone remember it

Sorry for such a random question I’m just doing some stuff with Topeka airport in a game and also interested in my home airport but I wasn’t in Topeka in 2014.

I think that’s the only flights Topeka ever got but feel free to let me know if not

I know I’m grandfathered in to fly, but am I still allowed to control?

I’m currently 15, and was born in October of 2010, however, I think it was January of this year that they made the requirement to play the game 16 which I don’t turn for a couple months

However, I created this account way back when in like June of 2025

So I’m grandfathered in and I’m allowed to operate from what I read in the statement that the development team made

But could I still have issues becoming a controller not sure if they would let me control, knowing I’m under the technical age to be on the network

However, I know I’m grandfathered in, but I just don’t want to get in trouble and I’m wondering if I should just wait to control or if I should just inform my trainers that I’m not 16

Rare my landing? xp12

Very late also got picked up by a gust of wind toward the end but I think it was ok

I have only 20 hours on 737 this year so far, only about 10 landings

I’m lowkey scared to book my S1 session

I’ve been past the academy for like fricking a month and I understand everything but I’m just really afraid I’m going to mess up

How much do I need to know going into my first ever lesson currently I’m knowledgeable on how to do clearances and airspace types for the most part as well as taxi instructions and such however there’s a lot I still don’t know

I downloaded CRC profiles for my area and I’m thinking about booking a session, but I’m just not sure how much I need to know

Absolute horrible approach by me lol

My first landing attempt, I had a horrible crosswind floated down the runway and ended up going around

Then I went to turn base on a cross runway, however, two wiser pilots went on the same runway that I was going on because the winds were actually improving so I had to hop in base behind them, which resulted in doing a 180° turn for separation and then a horrible landing back with the ILS into Nashville

Gotta love low visibility, wind conditions

And thankfully, I landed just at the nick of my fuel tank. I took the second photo only a few minutes after arrival and I know this isn’t necessarily too low, but still kind of concerning.

At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is that I landed relatively safely and had fun

Thanks to all the pilots, especially the Delta pilots (611, 1411) who actually talked on the common traffic advisory and although Nashville was not staffed, thank you to the Memphis staff who helped me get here
