This is probably a weird thing to admit, but I think as a Leo, if I’m not the main character in my partner’s life and they don’t celebrate even the little things with me, I start feeling really undervalued.

My ex and I started dating in July 2024, and around 20 days later it was my birthday. He forgot it completely. I told him the next day, but there was still no effort to make up for it or make me feel special.
The next year he was in boarding(without phone), so he asked his friend to wish me, but when he came home there was still no celebration. Instead, he kept questioning me about what I did on my birthday and whether any guys were there, even though I had only gone out with my two girl friends.

After months of feeling unimportant, one of my male friends of five years confessed his feelings. He spoiled me, pampered me, appreciated me, and made me feel like I actually mattered. I just stopped talking to my ex cuz got closer to him. My ex found out and we consider it cheating

The sad part is that I never wanted those things from someone else. I wanted my ex to be the one celebrating me, and making me feel like I was the most important person in his life. I genuinely loved him, which is why it hurt so much.

We don’t talk anymore I think I want to stay completely by myself no guys, no talking stages, no relationships for however long it takes to heal, even if that’s years.

The person I loved the most couldn’t love me in the way I needed, and I don’t want to keep chasing that feeling in someone else. I’d rather protect my peace, heal, and focus on myself than settle for something that leaves me feeling undervalued again

I’m sharing this honestly, so please don’t judge. I’m in my late teens, I’m not detached from worldly things my wishes are probably what you’d expect from someone my age.

just wanted to share something that happened because it honestly made me emotional.
For the last few weeks I only had ₹400 left. Out of that, ₹200 went towards food with my friends, and after that I kept stressing because my birthday is so close. I still had to pay for my outfit, take my friends out for our birthday tradition(dinner out on birthdays), and I also needed money for my dermatologist.

I feel really awkward asking my parents, so I just kept overthinking everything.
Last night before sleeping, I just spoke to Swarnakarshan Bhairav dada (not in an ungrateful way but very emotional way) and said “Bhairav dada Uk my bday comin soon I’m broke I need ₹7000” that was literally it.
In my mind, ₹7k was basically ₹2k for my bday outing w friends, ₹2.5k for my parcel, and ₹2k for my dermat. That’s why I asked for exactly ₹7k.

No ritual, no long prayer just one very very heartfelt sentence.

This morning my mom woke me up asking if my dad had sent me money. He’d transferred 5k because my mom reminded him abt my bday. Then later my mom said she’d pay ₹2k for my parcel (parcel is ₹2498, but I will pay online from 5k and save 2k for bday outing) parcel will arrive on 26-27Jul.

It wasn’t until I was fully awake that I realized… I had asked Dada for exactly ₹7k the night before, and that’s exactly what ended up coming.
I’m not saying this to prove anything or tell anyone what to believe. I just wanted to share how grateful I felt. It reminded me that sometimes even if all you can do is speak honestly from your heart, He still hears you. ❤️
