akshan otp here, trying to learn locke. the late game just seems so hard. i get fed all the time and i just sell in team fights and i know thats on me bc i have all the gold. it’s just so much easier on akshan bc u just bait ur team and clean up the fight, or bait ur team and just out play ur way to a clean up. locke i think im doing it wrong. so here are my questions

1. do look for a multi person ult always or is just 1 or 2 fine?

2. before i engage with an e reset, should i just chase or kite a bit so i have my q up?

3. should i be ratting more before objs to get picks or is it too risky on this champ? i do this all the time on akshan but its just so easy to get in and out without being at risk of blowing up. maybe i can do the same thing on locke and its just a skill issue but if so, how should i play it?

he goes collector. and then like builds ldr (i do mortal when necessary) while building important IE components at the same time when possible, like Bf sword. attack speed boots too

what i’ve noticed in my diamond games:

collector is back, like yes it sucked before but that’s bc we were rushing it second item. with it being first item, u can snowball much earlier. building armor pen 3rd and ie 4th has made me feel weak in a lot of games and this build path just lets u get the armor pen u need and ie at a good time. the boots have instant value as ur getting pretty decent life steal and gives u the attack speed u need when we were building storm razor or kraken or both. not to mention collectors build path is just nice

i’m a relatively new fan. started listening in the summer of 2024 to the room is on fire and is this it and fell in love. it didn’t take long for me to finish listening to all their albums and they all grew on me pretty quick. angles was the last and did take the longest however. i also enjoy every song on reality awaits except for tyrants of the yellow moon.

i’ve seen a lot of people say that people end up liking the strokes newer songs years after they come out or something like that. can you guys tell me what albums received that kind of treatment? i feel like it could not have been the first two or the new abnormal. but how did people hate on come down machine? that shit grew on me so fast and not a single miss

prefer responses from high masters or above. i’m an akshan otp on main, currently stuck between D1 and D2. i’ve been learning akali on my alt so i can have an ap pick. but then i was thinking about the broken by concepts most recent episode and how they think people should learn other champs and come back to their main because it helps them learn the game better. so i was really thinking about it and does akali really teach me anything more than i know with akshan? akshan can be played for picks, as an assassin and both are strong laners. the only thing i’ve been able to take away from akali is being more patient and choosing my fights wisely. which is actually pretty good for my akshan bc i feel like i die too much averaging 11/5/5 a game.

but if you don’t think akali teaches me much about the game, who else should i learn? don’t say ahri bc i don’t want my second pick to be one of the most picked champs in the game. in short, what mid laners do higher elo people think are just solid mids that teach you the game better at a higher level of play?

title. are they just not that important?

i’m a dps main but i fill second tank when we need one. i used to always go angela prior to last couple seasons but then she became unplayable for someone like me who just casually plays her. i replaced her with venom after but i played two games with her recently and holy??? she’s so back ? i played against an invis and i heard she is basically satan to angela but the cooldown on assassins charge is so short now. she feels so fun to play and idk why i don’t see more of u out there. granted i’ve only played 2 games on her but i am 2-0 and popped off both games.

i feel like in order to play this hero optimally, i need perfect aim. bc everytime i mess up her combo i just either can’t get the kill or waste my util trying to and obviously that’s not going to fly in comp. do you guys have any suggestions on how to get good ? or should i give up bc i feel like this hero requires more aim than any hitscan and it doesn’t get talked about enough

i’m a perma stuck d2 akshan otp on main. i figure whats holding me back is not having an ap pick so i decided to learn akali. i just really suck at balancing side laning and hovering mid during the mid game. im legit hard struggling in low emerald. i’ll like giga stomp lane and get fed, but i just can’t carry the team fights. i get adc and sometimes one other so i think i need to focus on getting multi kills, but im not sure how. is there a way to get a kil with just one proc of ur ult an q? not use e or r 2? anyways, i also came up with a hypothesis but i cant test it now bc at work, but is it a good idea to just look for an all in off cooldown ? perma stagger them to make team fights easier?
