How do I get an endo diagnosis?

Honestly I’ve had it really. I have had clean ultrasounds and blood tests. Now I’m considering a colonoscopy to rule out anything back there. But the past year or so I’ve been getting butt cramps before and at the start of the period. This was so bad once or twice I got diagnosed with an anal fissure. But now I’ve notice the fissure acts up before or after my period. So technically it’s cyclical. Right now I’m on my period and my butt hole is literally in pain its cramping. It’s radiating to my stupid hip and my whole lower body is aching. I’m so glad I’m at home today. I have regular periods and no cysts so no pcos. I really don’t know what’s wrong with me and I don’t find going to the gynae helpful. One doctor asked me to have children to help with the pain. I’m 29 rn. I don’t want to go through childbirth if I can’t get through period cramps. I want to stop the period entirely but I come from a religious family and they’ve convinced me that BC will give me cancer.

I don’t know what to say to the gynae. What do I say? How do I get checked for endo?

Expats who left NZ are you happy with your decision?

I’m contemplating moving back to my home country and job hunting. It’s not a western country but I can live in a nice one bedroom for what I’m paying in Auckland for a shared 3BHK. I have a valid work visa till 2029 so if I change my mind I can return. I have around 40k NZD in savings which nearly doubles because of the currency difference.

I’m going to enter my early 30s and the past year and a half in NZ hasn’t been that great. I chose a job that had residency potential and it turned out to be awful for me. I am actively job hunting but the wages and the distance from my family along with the poor quality homes and general isolation is making me sad. It doesn’t help that everyone is enjoying summer now and I’m freezing here since it’s winter. The weather is very similar to the UK from what I remember just sad and grey.

How do I explain what I’ve been doing the past one year on my cv?

I’m feeling a bit stuck and would love some advice from people who have successfully pivoted careers.
My background is:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications

Master’s degree in Human Resource Management

Around 6 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and project coordination

Recently completed a one-year postgraduate teaching qualification (Early Childhood Education)

The problem is that I realised during the course that teaching isn’t for me. I completed it, but I honestly didn’t enjoy the work and don’t want to pursue teaching as a long-term career. I wanted to quit the course but I relocated and did it away from home plus I wasn’t getting a refund etc.

I’d like to move back into recruitment, HR, project coordination, administration, or other office-based roles, but I’m struggling with how to position myself. My most recent qualification and experience are now education-related, and I’m worried recruiters will look at my CV and think I’ve changed careers completely.
A few questions:
How would you structure a CV in this situation?

Should I minimise the teaching qualification or keep it prominent?

How do I explain the career change in applications and interviews without sounding negative about teaching?

Would you apply directly for recruitment/HR roles or focus on admin/coordinator positions first?

Any advice from recruiters, HR professionals, or people who have made a similar pivot would be hugely appreciated.

Can’t sleep before graduation

I am graduating tomorrow and can’t sleep. Idk I’m excited but nervous since this is my masters so o have to work after this. I have worked before but I’m stressed now. This is the final formal education I’ll be doing. A part of me doesn’t want to use the degree but then it would mean I wasted time which I’d have to explain in interviews if I take a job unrelated to the degree.

Idk am I late in life or early. What does the future hold idk…..

I’m glad my dad died……

I’m not happy but I’m relieved. It’s been one and a half year to be exact. He passed from the big C in 2025. I cried on and off for a year and sometimes didn’t know why I was crying. When he was alive there were some good moments. But most of them were bad. He scared me and we fought constantly even when he was ill. He also refused proper treatment and also didn’t make a will so the admin after death was horrendous.

Everything was horrendous tbh. Before he died he chose to fight with me about my career while on a vacation. He said I was too focused on something he wanted me to do something else. And like a true idiot after he died I pursued that profession out of some guilt and one year on hate it. I was in the right field in the first place. He made me feel small. He hurt me and he made me a grown woman in her 20s feel like an incompetent child regularly.

I’m willing to admit he wasn’t a great dad. I am done mourning him. I am done feeling guilty and I am done trying to live life to make anyone else happy. I don’t know what I want but I don’t want to live for him or anyone else.

Didn’t like the sermon and it’s making me question my faith a bit

So I was raised catholic and some of my family are born again Protestants. But we went to church etc and prayed and I was out in Sunday school. I believed till last year that life starts at conception but slowly due to my personal experiences interacting with special needs children I’ve started becoming more pro choice. I don’t think they get the life that everyone else does. I also don’t think of it’s done early on or in the case of rape or incest that it’s so bad.

I attended a mass yesterday and the priest went on a spiel of how the country isn’t Christian anymore (western but we’re not in the US) because we have abortion offered and he mentioned some other lifestyle things and assisted dying etc. I felt like nope don’t agree and don’t know if I want to return to that church.

Did anyone else feel exhausted after submitting everything? How long till it went away?

I finished all my assignments and my thesis and did it all with a cold virus over the weekend. Today was my first free day after weeks and I’m so tired. Surprisingly I didn’t feel tired before while I was powering through but now it’s like I’m totally fatigued. I also feel a bit jumpy like I can’t relax properly. I was waiting for this day off but now my mind is on the stuff I submitted it’s like hmmh is everything okay and I keep thinking about finding work and stuff. I’m not able to totally relax. I also woke up super early even though it’s a day off.

🤦🏻‍♀️

Is there something I can do to protect against bad energy or stuck spells sent my way?

So I worked at a VERY competitive workplace over a year ago for a few years. I got promoted multiple times and made a lot of money. Around the start of last year I got laid off and prior to that the new manager I got seemed very personally against a bunch of us that were old staff and one by one fired everyone without any real pip or anything. This person was bullying me and on my way out I mentioned those instances. Ever since then any opportunity I come across goes badly or turns sour or something. Like even good things go bad but not terrible just kinda sucky.

It’s like my life is stuck. Is there something I can do to check or remove this energy from me? I suspect I’m dealing with someone who goes to a person to do spell work because there was another employee who mentioned that they felt ill whenever they were around this person and they had to quit because of illness without any cause. Something gets my alarm bells ringing with this person.

How to deal with this?

On Thursday, between I was walking through the centre with two children whose hands I was holding. The children were willingly walking alongside me, appeared happy and engaged, and one child was playfully pulling my hand downward while laughing.

At that time, the centre director, whom I had only seen once previously during my practicum, approached from behind and began speaking to me in a loud and angry manner. He stated that holding children's hands in that way was dangerous and repeatedly said that this practice was not permitted at the centre. Upon hearing his concerns, I immediately released both children's hands.

I attempted to explain that we were walking to sit down and that the child had been playfully pulling on my hand. At no point did I pull, yank, or otherwise handle either child roughly. They were on their feet walking with me. However, before allowing me to fully respond, he continued to state that staff did not hold children's hands in that manner and then abruptly left the room without seeking further information or clarification. This whole interaction was less than a minute but very aggressive. There were 4 teachers in the room one was away but the other three apparently didn’t see or hear anything.

During the interaction, it became apparent that he was unaware of my role within the centre. I informed him that I was a student teacher and had been completing my practicum placement. No further discussion took place at that time.

Later that day, the centre manager spoke to my head teacher in front of me while not addressing me, saying that she had spoken with him and "calmed him down." I found this concerning, as the manner in which the feedback was delivered appeared unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional, particularly within a childcare environment where respectful communication is essential.

In the afternoon, the centre manager checked on my wellbeing and advised me to "just forget about" the interaction. I chose not to pursue the matter further at that time because I did not wish to escalate the situation. What I want to know is if I should give my university honest feedback about my placement or just leave it because i could be retaliated against. I asked the teachers if they had cameras and they said no they don’t have any in the center.

What I found unusual was that, despite the seriousness of the concerns that had been raised, there was no follow-up discussion with me, no attempt to gather additional information about the circumstances, and no apparent effort to check on the children involved. The matter appeared to be dropped immediately after the initial confrontation.

The combination of the owner's aggressive approach, the lack of investigation or follow-up, and the subsequent advice to simply forget the incident left me feeling uncomfortable and unfairly targeted.

After my dads death I am facing manifestation blocks

I lost my dad a year ago and ever since that because he died from cancer. I tried to manifest on his behalf and tried to get him to manifest too and none of it worked. I’m glad he isn’t in pain anymore but I’m sad he died. I miss him. I miss my dad.

I want to get my life on track in a few ways , career, health etc and before I could manifest quickly now I’m struggling a bit.

Will there ever be any justice?

So over a year ago I got fired after going to HR regarding my bosses bullying and I ended up not really getting any help or an investigation because they were really strongly supported by management. Now almost a year later a lot more people have been laid off and imho this person is still there and is still allowed to hold their post. Idk why but it bothers me from time to time.

Why are older Indian women sometimes so hateful towards younger ones?

I’m working somewhere on contract right now and there’s an older Indian manager who repeatedly comments about “young ladies” are lazy, “young ladies are useless”, etc and she tries to make these comments around us like it’s funny but it’s not and it’s not witty either. She hates her husband or whatever as she compared young women’s skills to men generally.

Idk I’m waiting for the contract to be up so I don’t have to go back there but yeah I’m not enjoying this environment at all. The tasks she gives us are also very random like go clean this and pick this up and can you organize this food thing.

Stuff she doesn’t task the guys with at work. She seems uniquely interested in the three younger women who are Indian which include myself and two other ladies who she constantly keeps tabs on. I can’t wait to leave and never see this silly woman again.

Edit: I’m outside India atm

Another reason to lose weight for me at least is clothing options

I work at a school and I’ve been a bit overweight the past few years due to personal struggles. I’m late 20s female (172lbs) and had to perform on stage for a play with two other teachers and ended up having wear a borrowed costume that all the teachers were wearing. So I’m 5’6 and I had a borrowed skirt and it was awfully large cause the other ones were too small and wouldn’t zip up. And then each of us had to deal with little comments from other people who were fighting us and the thinner women were told oh you’ll fit into anything blah blah blah.

Meanwhile I felt self conscious and weird and ugly the whole time. I’ve never liked costumes and I’ve never cared for dressing up for things like Halloween etc. Anyway the whole day was a nightmare for me overall…..I’m glad it’s over but I felt huge. I also feel like being a bit taller made me stand out a bit. All the other ladies were tiny (5’2/5’3) I guess they don’t gain weight or something.
