[I ate] Baklava therapy after a long day.

The night our “core memory” trip became a survival mission

Me and my friends went for a late night drive thinking it would become one of those “core memory” nights.

2 hours later the fuel got completely finished in the middle of nowhere and every fuel station nearby was closed because of the current situation.

Suddenly everyone in the car became a fuel expert and started blaming each other while we were stuck there questioning all our life choices.

One of my friends took an empty bottle and went searching for fuel like we were in some post-apocalyptic movie. He finally found a small roadside stall and begged the uncle there for some petrol, but the uncle refused.

The worst part was that we couldn’t even call our parents because we never told them we were going on a late night drive in the first place.

At one point one of my friends genuinely started panicking and saying, “Bro if my dad finds out I’m finished.” Another friend almost started crying and the whole car became chaotic.

We spent the entire night stuck there thinking about every bad decision that led us to that moment.

By morning we somehow managed to contact another friend, and that guy literally became our emergency fuel delivery service and saved us.

Looking back now it’s hilarious, but at that moment we genuinely thought our lives were over

TIFU by going on a late night drive with friends without checking the fuel level !

What was supposed to be a fun night slowly turned into a survival mission .

One of my friends took an empty bottle and went searching for fuel like we were in some post-apocalyptic movie. He finally found a small roadside stall and begged the uncle there for some petrol, but the uncle straight up refused.

By morning we somehow managed to contact another friend, and that guy literally saved our lives by bringing fuel to us .

Safe to say none of us will ever ignore the fuel meter again.

TL;DR: Me and my friends went on a late night drive without checking fuel, got stranded in the middle of nowhere all night, couldn’t tell our parents, almost had a breakdown, and got rescued by a friend the next morning with fuel 😂
