Police is same everywhere

A CCTV video from Hotel Mango in Baltana, Mohali, has drawn widespread attention after allegations were made against a local police post in-charge. According to reports, two sisters who operate the hotel alleged that the officer demanded ₹20,000 per month and later assaulted them when the demand was not met. The incident, reportedly dated July 29, gained public attention after the CCTV footage circulated widely on social media.

Following the circulation of the video, Punjab Police placed the accused officer, Harjinder Singh, on line duty pending departmental proceedings and initiated an internal inquiry. Why is it so noisy in the office?

I recently joined Goldman Sachs as an Associate, and I’m finding it really difficult to focus because people around me are constantly on calls. The noise is becoming a major distraction and is starting to affect my productivity and concentration.

Is this just part of the office culture, or does it get better over time? How do you deal with the constant noise in an open office? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I’m looking to move around June 1st (flexible by about a week either way) and am currently searching for an apartment in Troy, Cohoes, or Watervliet, preferably closer to Cohoes due to my workplace location.

I am looking to move in within a few weeks near the Albany office of GS, I'm looking for a one or two bedroom apartment but I don't have any other female roommate as well. I'm also open for studio apartments.
