CRKD SG dropping the yellow fret in descending HOPOS? Does anyone have a CRKD SG that does NOT do this?

Has anyone had this issue. I know for a FACT I'm hitting yellow in a lot of descending hopos but it's just not registering, I switch to my RB1 guitar and it's fine. It almost feels like maybe blue is being counted as held down a fraction of a second too long causing it not to count yellow? It's really only on descending hopos. The guitar is perfect otherwise. Firmware is updated.

I saved up a long time for the guitar and really love this thing, this is the only problem and it really sucks. :( do I just get my money back? Does anyone have a SG guitar that does NOT drop descending hopos?

Can someone test the inro on Expert for Chevelle-Face to the floor for me please?

I've tried various games, Rock Band, Clone hero, Yarg. Various guitars, and for some reason the intro hopos which should be super easy are just not able to be hit consistently for some reason. I'm not the greatest but I'm also not THIS bad.

This is on expert of course, and it's the intro/first verse section with the descending hammerons/pulloff. Would anyone be kind enough to test this song on their setup and see if it's easy for them to hit? Thank you.

CRKD Guitar and Xbox 360-Multi-platform vs other options?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to get a CRKD guitar as I hear the multiplatform ones work on the 360 if you have a soft or hard modded console, although AFAIK it's only the multiplatform guitars.

What's the difference between the CRKD guitars labeled multiplatform and the ones that are listed to support multiple platforms such as PS3 and PC, etc.

Do I absolutely need one labeled as multiplatform to use it on my Xbox without any adapters if I had a modded 360?

Thank you.

Miracle Mask some blurry text/ text characters

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping my 3DS isn't broken, on Miracle Mask some of the text letters often look slightly blurry out of focus l, especially letters like TH or U. It's not all test, dialogue text is usually ok but text that explains the puzzles or the name of journal entries and some journal entries etc.

It's kind of subtle but does anyone else see this? I'm on a 2ds.

FNR4 Legacy and FNC Forever question please.

Hi everyone,

Two quick questions please.

  1. Is it worth running FNC Forever on a real modded PlayStation 3? I'd rather use that than an emulator.

  2. Is there a way to change the number of rounds in FN4 legacy mode? I see the option under my corner If I back out of legacy mode, but it doesn't affect legacy mode, and I can't find any legacy mode options to change either the round length or the round count. It seems to be limited to four rounds no matter what I do.

Has anyone had intermittent freezing issues with fight night champion?

I guess my main concern here is that there's an issue with my Xbox and I would love to rule that out.

It's in god format and the issue is that it would freeze for maybe 10 seconds at a time every other fighter so, it would do it once per fight.

I did try placing it on the internal hard drive and my external hard drive and it does it on both.

Is it most likely just an issue with a copy of the game and not my Xbox?

I know it's limited information to go off of but I'm hoping those with a lot of experience would at least be able to tell me if these symptoms are indicative of an issue with my Xbox or more likely the copy of the game.

I'm not experiencing any other issues as far as I can tell on any other games.

Getting my first RGH 360 in a few days, why do people recommend XM360 over Dashlaunch Patches?

Hi everyone,

I'm about to get my first Xbox 360 RGH in a few days and I'm learning everything and getting my work-flows setup so I'm good to go.

Here is instructions I read for multi-disk games where the second is an install CD:

"But for Multi Disk where 2 Disk is DLC this what I do:

  1. Use iso2GOD to convert the first disk to GOD format.
  2. Copy the GOD to hdd1\Content\0000000000000000\ files to the HDD correct path
  3. extract Disk 2 and copy it hdd1\Content\0000000000000000\ folder to the HDD correct path
  4. User XM360 to unlock DLC

EX. We'll take Forza Motorsport 3 for an example (4D53084D) it the game's ID

So, on your HDD on the xbox hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/4D53084D/00000002 00000002 is where all DLC goes for every game. 4D53084D is just the game id for this game, every game will have its own ID. (When you extract disk 2 you will see 00000002 folder it all you need ignore the other file that not in the 00000002)

hdd1/Content/0000000000000000/4D53084D/00007000 00007000 is GOD format (when convert ios 2 GOD you see 4D53084D with 00007000 inside)

if you using diff path then hdd1/Content/0000000000000000 ex hdd1/360Game/ then it be hdd1/360Game/4D53084D/00007000"

My question is, at the end of these steps, why use XM360 and not the Dashlaunch patches? Aren't those the default go-to these days? Or should I plan on using XM360? Thank you!

Resistance 3 is such a cool game that's nearly ruined by its performance and technical issues.

I just got my new PlayStation 3 and I love it, I'm playing through all the exclusives and games that are trapped on the system.

I'm playing through the resistance series and 3 is absolutely incredible in its art direction and gunplay, and environments it's just so so good.

And then it all comes crashing down because of the performance. It's not uncommon to spend most combat encounters are sub 20 FPS. Audio desync and other audio issues are common. Honestly though, it's the performance. It's just really really bad.

I don't think there's even been a game I've wished as much would have better performance than Resistance 3.

I'm trying so hard to just ignore the performance but it's just sooooo bad. It sucks because everything else about the game is super good.

Steamdeck users, what's your latency settings?

Hello,

I'm playing on my deck using wired headphones and I just can't find a latency setting I'm happy with. At zero it feels like I'm hitting notes slightly earlier than the music.

I haven't played many games like these so I actually don't know what I should be targeting for latency. I've been having so much fun with the game I just need to get latency down!

Is it normal for the DSi to require slightly more pressure than the original DS?

I recently upgraded from an original DS to a DSi and it's wonderful.

I did notice however I'm finding myself having to tap twice a lot because I'm super used to the DS and just barely being able to touch the screen for a tap.

My DSi doesn't require a lot of pressure in fact it's barely more than my DS but it IS more. Is this normal? Is my digitizer ok?

I heard Nintendo had the DSI use a slightly more firm digitizer/bottom screen to avoid accidental double tape and such issues that made the DSi require a bit more pressure.

Does anyone have or use both that can comment please? Thank you so much.

Every once in awhile starting a game causes my TV to lose signal until a reboot, please help.

Hi everyone,

Just got my new PS3 and installed HEN. I did a lot of research and learning and everything is going good. I use Irismanager to launch my ISOs. I have PKGI, Iris, ModMan installed, I don't use Webmanmod or anything.

Every game works and launching it is usually successful 9/10 times, although very rarely clicking the disk icon from XMB causes my TV to lose signal and display "No signal" and all I can do is restart the PS3.

I notice games will usually switch resolution when launching, so my TV will display no signal for a moment and then continue on just fine, but when this happens it doesn't.

I do use an HDMI switcher I got from Amazon years ago, could this be the issue? Could the HDMI switcher just be failing the handshake it gets for the resolution when launching a game sometimes?

Or is this maybe a known issue or something?

Thank you so very much

How much better do original PSP games look on an actual PSP?l compared to Vita?

I used to have a psp back in the day but was surprised when running adrenaline for the first time how poor some of the PSP games look, even with things like bilinear filtering and such. I'm still trying to find some settings I like.

Is it worth getting a psp just to play original PSP games? Do they look a lot worse on the Vita? Is the text and stuff also fuzzy on a real psp?

With the proper filter setup how close does a vita look to an actual PSP?

Question about internal storage on the 2000 model before I install CFW, please!

Hello,

My vita arrives in a few days and I'll be using the vita.hacking.guides website. It seems straightforward enough but I have one question regarding internal storage.

I'm getting a vita 2000, this has internal storage so I don't need to do anything to the internal partition prior to the jailbreak right?

Just follow the guide, install everything and then follow the YAMT to use my Micro SD card?

The guide wasn't very clear on if you need to edit the internal storage partition even if you own a 2000 model.

Thank you!

Proper way to deal with input goods only being expensive during construction or certain times?

Hi everyone,

I'm playing a campaign that's a bit more difficult than what I've played in the past as I continue to learn the game. (Brazil).

Things are going well but I'm noticing whenever I build something Wood and Iron Market prices go through the roof, makes sense.

I'm getting better at managing my economy but what's the ideal way to handle a situation where goods only get expensive sporadically? Should I just be building more wood and iron regardless as I'll be building most of the time until I'm at the point where construction no longer makes those input goods go up so much?

Things like Artillery and small weapons, are those usually best subsidized during peace time? I do get some shortages sometimes on things like small arms or artillery which I've been able to fix easy enough when they happen during a war.

I do have a decent treasury surplus that I want to use by building more construction sectors but I wanted to figure out how to solve this first.

Thank you!

Can anyone give me some tips for the weekly ruler. Duke Pierre Of Piedmont

Hi everyone,

I'm not totally new, I know the basics of the game and I've been pretty successful and taking over Ireland but I've yet to play a ruler who appears to be scheme/Intrigue heavy. Infact I'm horrible at using schemes/blood lines to my advantage. I'd absolutely love some help or tips.

For example, I see I'm 4th in line to inherit quite a few titles. I think ok, I'll murder some people, I set my sights on Tuscany.

It seems like no matter what I do, I can't raise my scheme chance above very hard. I'm always hit with a vague "Scheme modifiers -17".

I've target3d husbands, personal physicians, etc hoping that'll bring up the success chance and while it adds some positive modifiers the scheme is still on very hard. Plus I'm also feeling rushed because I'm trying to complete so many schemes before people start dying and succession lines change, etc.

It's all confusing the heck out of me, playing a ruler like this, what are some tips and some helpful advice on how I'd go about identifying and taking advantage of any good power positions I'm in? Like I said, I see I stand to inherit some titles as 4th in line but I can't make headway on that as I feel like I can't ever be successful in murders and such.

Any tips or advice on how a semi new player would go about identifying and then taking advantage of the situation?

If someone would maybe be kind enough to let me know the steps they'd take to start the ball rolling and what they'd do to help setup the schemes it might help me figure out the flow, I'd really like to hear how an experienced player would handle this stuff so I can see how it's done.

I've been playing a ton of EU4 and it seems easier to be me than this haha.

Thank you

EU4 has been so frustrating as a new player...

Hi everyone

I guess I just want to vent and get some frustration out..I'm learning a few paradox games and I've picked up the basics pretty quickly in Vick 3, HOI4, and Imperator.

Obviously I have a ton to learn but I'm able to finish campaigns in those games without anything horrible happening right away.

EU4 has just been kicking my ass though. I DO understand the basics, I get the gist of trade nodes, trade steering, monarch points, war, diplomacy, etc.

Not understanding isn't the issue, the issue is the game feeling overly punishing and at times just not fair, sometimes it feels completely random. I want to love this game and I'm really really trying because I feel like if I can ease the friction I can absolutely love it.

Im already enjoying it but it's mixed with moments of window-breaking frustration.

Prior to buying the DLC pass:

-Start as Castille

-Hire some advisors, the cheapest usually. Do the regular housekeeping stuff like assigning rivals, diplomats, usually scrapping my heavy ships, etc

-Random event that immediately takes away stability to -1

-Start building up my army to make some progress on my mission tree and prepare to fight grenata after the truce ends and I get a CB.

-Random event that pops up asking me to pick between losing 10 loyalty with an estate that's already at 40 and the other 45.

-Banner pops up notifying me I'm low on crown lands, I can't seize land because every estate would go below 30.

-I summon a diet, and pick a few privileges that don't touch crownlands but bring loyalty equilibrium up.

-Unpause and an event fires that's once again asking me to pick an estate side, and now they are getting ready to rebel. Annoying put it's pretty easy I guess they only rise up at 5k or 7k.

-Almost have enough points to bring stability back up at least but then another event fires and takes a bit of those points away.

And it just keeps going.

I guess I'm just saying it often feels like I'm spending most of my time just getting wrecked from all sides by events. It feels like I have to restart until I get good enough RNG for a good start.

Then I bought the expansion pass and things got so much worse because it introduced a horrible disaster in Castille.

The disaster in Castille is a nightmare for what's supposed to be a starting nation for a new player. If you don't do things exactly right with that disaster in mind from the start, you're screwed. I can get past it probably 75% of the time within a few months now but I still have to reload at times.

Depending on the events that fire you can be in pretty rough shape within a short amount of time after not having been given a chance to even do very much aside from start of game chores and time acceleration.

As a new player you also have no idea how much of a penalty is really a penalty, so every bad event that happens feels worse because you don't know just how bad it is.

I guess I don't feel very much in control? I feel like the fun I'm going to have or if I'll even be able to make progress as my nation depends on how good the RNG is.

I get it, get good and learn2play. I'm really trying. Something feels different than other Paradox games with EU4 and events though.

I don't feel like CK3, HOI4, or Vick 3 is doing everything it can to make my life more difficult.

I feel like the game just won't let me enjoy it. I can handle all of these events and not let them destroy my country but sometimes it feels like ALL I'm doing is juggling the kicks in the balls the game is throwing at me over and over again.

I'm rambling I'm just frustrated and I know if I can get through this initial frustration there's a wonderful game here.

I took a small island and the state is split with Britan having the other half, how the heck do I get the other half?

I colonized an incredibly small island with just two territories in the state. I own one and Britan owns the other so the state is split.

I've done a lot of research and can't figure out how to take this state hopefully diplomatically.

My relationship with them is a bit above cordial, I've tried asking for it in a treaty but the thumbs down percent is so high that no amount of gold will make them say yes.

I've tried doing the trade state diplomatic action but it says "Britan is not involved in any diplomatic plays".

I also can't even do the conquer state action to see if they'll cede it before a war starts because my rep is too high with them.

What are my options to take the other half of this incredibly small island from them?

WHEN do you build?

Hi everyone,

Using Invictus and still learning but I have a pretty good grasp so far. I'm running my first campaign and have all of modern day Italy conquered.

In other grand strategy games I'm currently playing Fields Of Glory, HOI4, etc there's pretty clearly defined times or states when you know you should build something, adjust construction etc.

In imperator it seems more open, and building for me has been either 100% reactive when a problem arises or I'll say to myself "I have some gold and it's been awhile since I've built something, so I guess I should. A little more research sounds cool so I'll build a library" and that's about it.

I know as with all things Paradox/Grand Strategy the answer is "It depends" but that aside..I'm curious, when do YOU personal build? Any advice on the flow of when and when not to build? I generally know WHAT the buildings do and why I'd build them but don't really know when outside of when a problem pops up or I remember that I should.

I know eventually you can build based on an end game/mid game goal. But when you're new and learning what's the best time to build?

Thank you.

New player, would anyone be kind enough to give me advice on food and happiness?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the game, using Invictus. I've been doing as much learning as possible, watching tutorial videos and reading guides. This is my first real campaign I've stuck with.

I've made some good progress on expansion, but I'm running into two issues.

-Food issues. I'm guessing this is due to seasonal food usage, I was having problem with two main providences, Latium and Aternum. I completely solved the issue in Latium by finding out the AI was exporting too much of my grain, taking back those grain exports fixed that issue.

I've been struggling a lot with Aternum though, is this because I only own one state within that province? I've built a few Granaries, I've tried to open a trade route, I've made sure the governor modifier is on food, etc. Yet I'm still struggling in winter.

The other main issue is just happiness in general, I feel like a lot of my pops in a lot of my provinces are unhappy. I don't fully understand culture too well, but I have only integrated one because it had a high population base and the rest I'm trying to let assimilate by using the governor culture focus in my newly conquered provinces when I can.

Here is an imgur album showing everything I thought would be helpful with my current campaign. https://imgur.com/a/NRPwfvy

Please excuse any silly choices, I'm still learning. I don't quite know from a new player ELI5 perspective, what to build and when, most of my building choices have been reactive to my province needs.

I've tried looking up advice before, but a lot of people explain things as if a new player is already intimately familiar with the mechanics and it makes a lot of the posts I find hard to follow. I'm doing my best to learn and research on my own but I'm struggling with these few things if anyone would be kind enough to give me a hand.

thank you.
