Base Model Battery - Very satisfied.

I'm actually hesitating to upgrade to S26 scared it might not give as good as an experience as S25, just because of how good S25 has been.

Multiple profiles Setup

hello, i have multiple profiles set for multiple devices, and i was looking for recommendations.

I'm going for light on phone to avoid headaches and it's been stable and fast, but TV and PC have different usecases and issues, tested the same profile but it seems Google TV and Windows are heavy on tracking, what do you guys use for those ?

- Phone: Hagezi light

5G in Algeria - Ooredoo

Both FTTH and 5G give 1Gbps 👀, kind of a flex but yeah, i also posted fiber speed a few days back which is also 1gbps even with international test servers.

Xiaomi BE6500 Review

In case you're like me and the ISP provided router doesn't do a good enough job, you may want to improve your WiFi experience with this.

- Specs

WiFi 7 BE6500 / 160Mhz / 700Mbps @2.4Ghz 2x2 / 5800Mbps @5Ghz 4x4.

- Phone

Samsung Galaxy S25 WiFi 7 2x2.

- Coverage 11/10

This thing is a beast, not only covers my 3 bedroom apartment (3rd floor), but covers the whole block, I'm literally getting good signals and speeds down the road, 50m from my building, which is crazy.

- Performance 10/10

It peaks at 940Mbps because of my ONT output capped at 1gbps, but maintains the speed all across the house (80m²). Outside the building i got up to 600mbps at around 50m.

- Features

MLO implementation is amazing, offers a good batch of options to fiddle with (channels, bandwidth, signal power, etc).

Has 4x 2.5Gbps ports (Auto WAN / Dual WAN / WAN Aggregation).

Feel free to ask whatever you need to know or test, i also had the D-Link DIR-X6080Z (AX6000) but the BE6500 is a measurable upgrade.

Geekbench 7.0 Update - Expect Lower Scores

Geekbench updated their app today, went to V.7, scores seem to have dropped a little.

I just posted a score war Score war yesterday and boom, update, good thing i did one last good test before the update. Feel free to share yours as the new update rendered old scores irrelevant with surely new tests and algorithms.

Device: Galaxy S25 S931

Geekbench 6: 3157/10136

Geekbench 7: 2720/9534

Xiaomi BE6500

Hello everyone, I'm thinking of buying the Xiaomi be6500, it seems powerful for its 100$ reasonable price, if any of you tested it, is it actually good in the real world ? Wall penetration, peak speeds, managing clients, etc ...

Thank you

Wi-Fi 5Ghz Channels not supported

Did you guys know samsung locks the ability to connect to a network if it's in a channel "not supported in your region" ?

I just set my wifi to channel 161 which is supported here, and my Galaxy S25 which i bought here doesn't see the network !

Oddly enough, enabling airplane mode and rebooting, makes the network appear again and connects too, yet as soon as the networks disconnects, you can't get it again unless you reboot with airplane mode. After some research, i found that the issue is documented

https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s24-series/samsung-s-decision-to-restrict-wifi-5ghz-and-6ghz-channels-based/td-p/9918035/page/3

https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s25-series/feature-request-manual-channel-selection-for-5ghz-mobile-hotspot/td-p/13854843

https://community.ui.com/questions/Samsung-S25-Ultra-and-AP-roaming/68baa559-fbd8-4e7c-ac6e-6064cfbc54a6

Why would samsung feel the need to lock and disable hardware capabilities arbitrarily ? What's the harm if my phone had all supported channels enabled ? I don't get it.

D-Link DIR-X6080Z Review

I asked and searched in the past about it but i didn't get enough response so i made the jump blindly and this is my experience with it:

My plan is 1000/350Mbps, previously, i was using the ISP provided router, Huawei HG8145X6-10 (2 antennas 2x2 streams AX3000 160Mhz 5Ghz), good for general use, when standing next to it i peak at 1000mbps no issues, but falls hard after a few walls and at the worst point of my apartment i get 200.

I put the DIR in the same place my previous router was, in AP mode, it's 8 antennas 4x4 streams AX6000 160Mhz 5Ghz, the experience now changed a lot. I put it in AP mode as router mode didn't work for me, and now I'm getting max 920 next to the AP, but the worst case i get 750mbps where i used to get 200.

GUI is very bad, @dlink should really work on this as a basic ISP Huawei is better at exposing features and organizing them.

Hardware is impeccable, raw power outperforming anything in that class and beyond, especially for the price (~80$)

High end WiFi 6 vs Entry level WiFi 7

D-Link DIR-X6080Z vs Tenda TE6L Pro

I'm in a dilemma where I can't choose between these 2, i live in a small 2 bedroom apartment, concrete walls so hard signal penetration, i have a 1Gbps subscription and i get full speed next to the ISP provided router, but only get 150mbps at the farthest point. My devices are a mix of WiFi 6/7, so no issue there.

My requirements/conditions are:

App theme

Hello, I'm frustrated, please help.

I'm having this issue where the code message isn't coming, even though didn't change any of my info, i didn't lose any of my account or phone number, i have access to both and using them, i can even change password. For verifying i tried inputing my face scan, ID card scan, card number, email code, only the message doesn't come, even though that phone number is active and still have it.
