He got charged twice, Initially he took trial, then bought lifetime, and he just got converted and got charged for yearly as well, How does it work?
reddit.comHas anyone tried setting up a US merchant account using Payoneer?
My country isn't supported for the merchant account in the Google Play Console, so I set the account country to the US and used my Payoneer US receiving account for the bank details.
Has anyone done something similar? Did you run into any issues later with verification, payments, taxes, or getting the account suspended?
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has actually tried this.

Someone got a lifetime plan while he was on trial period
He first took the 7 days trial for yearly plan, and then later purchased the lifetime. Will he be charged for yearly? How does apple handle this?
My Bass Tuner app just hit 15,000 downloads in 7 months since release.
Honestly, I never thought that, as an indie developer, I'd have an app used by people all around the world. It's getting around 150 to 200 new users every day and has 800 to 1,000 daily active users. Those are dream numbers for someone like me who only started shipping apps seriously last year.
I'd like to share what worked and what didn't.
Initially, I published an app called TuneIt. I didn't do much marketing besides a few Reddit posts. It reached about 1,000 downloads in 2 to 3 months, and I was thrilled. But after that, growth completely stalled.
What was TuneIt?
It was an all in one tuner app. It included tuners for guitar, bass, violin, ukulele, and other instruments, along with tools, learning features, and everything else packed into a single app.
Unfortunately, it didn't perform that well.
About 6 to 7 months after launching TuneIt, I listened to a podcast about marketing. They talked about why Coca-Cola sells the same drink in different sizes, like 2 liters, 1 liter, and 250 ml.
The point was simple. Not everyone wants the biggest option. Some people just want exactly what they need. By offering different sizes, Coca-Cola reaches more customers.
That idea really stuck with me.
I decided to split TuneIt into separate apps, one for each instrument. I spent the next two days setting everything up and publishing individual apps for guitar, bass, violin, ukulele, and the rest.
The results surprised me.
Every single instrument app eventually outperformed the original TuneIt. The Bass Tuner app, in particular, took off much faster than I expected.
The biggest lesson I learned is this:
Niche apps can outperform all in one apps.
If you try to build one app that does everything for everyone, it can be much harder to grow. Sometimes it's better to solve one specific problem really well.
Seeing the traction, I recently enrolled in the Apple Developer Program and published all of my apps on iOS as well. Hopefully they'll gain some momentum there too, although I know I'll need to put more effort into marketing.
If you'd like to check out the app:
Android: Bass Tuner
iOS: Bass Tuner
If anyone has questions about ASO, publishing multiple apps, indie app development, Play Store optimization, or anything else, feel free to ask. I'm happy to share what I've learned so far.
And if you have any marketing tips, I'd love to hear them too!
What do ya'll think about the screenshot? I am planning to update my Screenshot with this!
Can I do Affiliate Marketing in my App?
I have a instrument tuner app. So a thought came across my mind, if i can market instrument products in my app such as picks, guitars, strings etc with my affiliate links. Does that violate any rules?

After building this app on Android, I finally released it for iPhone.
A while ago, I started building a guitar tuner because I wanted something that was fast, accurate, and easy to use.
After plenty of late nights, debugging microphone input, fine-tuning pitch detection, and learning the iOS ecosystem, it's finally available on the App Store.
It includes:
• Guitar Tuner (Standard & Custom Tunings)
• Chromatic Mode
• Chord Library
• Ear Training
• Chord Quiz
My goal was to keep the experience clean and distraction-free while providing accurate tuning and a few tools to help guitarists learn along the way.
Since this is my first iPhone release, I'd genuinely love to hear what fellow iPhone users think. Whether it's about the UI, tuning accuracy, performance, or features you'd like to see, I'd really appreciate your feedback.
Thanks for taking a look!

Is $1000 per day realistic number?
How much user/numbers do we roughly need to get to this target?
Uploaded my first App in Appstore
After months of evenings and weekends, I finally got my first iOS app approved and live on the App Store.
It's called TuneIt, a tuner for musicians. I originally built it because I wasn't fully happy with the tuners I was using and wanted something simple, fast, and accurate.
This is my first experience shipping an app to iOS, dealing with App Store reviews, subscriptions, and everything that comes with it.
If anyone here plays an instrument, I'd genuinely appreciate feedback, good or bad. I'm actively working on updates.

What's with this finance sector?
Any experts? Confused if i should sell my cfcl - it's about 700 units, or should i hold?
Would you use an app for securely storing passwords, notes, recovery codes, and other private information?
I'm considering building a secure vault app for storing passwords, private notes, 2FA recovery codes, API keys, licenses, documents, and other sensitive information.
Before investing a lot of time into it, I'd love to understand whether people actually need this and what features would make it useful.
If this sounds interesting, please comment with:
- What you'd use it for
- What existing apps are missing
- Whether you'd consider paying for it
If you'd like updates when I launch, I've put together a waitlist here: link
I tried claiming the free chat gpt plus that is $20 USD using my Global Ime bank dollar card and it keeps on getting declined. Is it normal for GBIME card?
So my friend is in one of those “share live location 24/7” relationships…
One day he goes:
“bro I just wanna go out with the boys without starting a whole investigation” 😭
Long story short… I made a small app called MockLoc.
Now bro is apparently “at home sleeping peacefully” while he’s 20km away eating momo with us 💀
Technology is wild.
(also yes it works for dev testing and privacy and all that serious stuff too lol)
