Happy Sweet 16 Willow!
My sweet girl has bone cancer, and this is the last summer I will get to spend with her.
My 32nd birthday is next Saturday, and it’s been the most special thing in the world to share half my life with my sweet girl.
Of course I had to go all out and celebrate her in a big way today on her 16th birthday!!
Edit: Thank you everyone! She had a day full of love, naps, and extra kitty treats!

She’s just a girl who yearns for the sun
Toast went from hiding in her tank for months, not leaving the same spot for days on end, to constantly begging to go outside. Every morning I wake up and she is at the patio door begging to go outside.
I let her outside for supervised 20 minute intervals throughout the day, and as soon as she’s back inside, she does this again. She just wants to soak up the summer sun!

Some finished projects from the last 6 weeks
I had the hummingbird one professionally framed and gave it to my mom for Mother’s Day, and I just finished the fish one today and will get it framed for Father’s Day.
The rest I’m hanging up in my apartment for decoration with the cheap poster frames!
I love a good hobby that gives me something to do while I listen to podcasts and audiobooks with the bonus of making cool art!
