in general young can not get hired not because they do not have experience or because they do not want to work but because you now have to manipulate semisentient mathematics in the form of artificial intelligence softwares to get hired or even get your resume review by a human being in general the young people have to jump through hoops just to have a resume autoreject their resume because it did not have correct keywords in it causing computer based discrimination and making it impossible for young people to get their first job out of the gate

if we make this kind of resume screening illegal then at the very least young people will have their resumes reviewed by human beings which increases actual Americans of getting hired for a job within the state of indiana rather than a company claiming since their artificial intelligence software auto rejected the majority of applicats they can not find an quality talent to hire for the job and they can ship that job over seas to pay some person in India the salary that should have gone to a young person in this state while the company gets to use that as an excuse to keep the government subsidies that the state gives them to keep not paying their fair share in taxes here in indiana

so as a Hoosier how would you feel about making these hiring practice illegal here

now to put this bluntly my ex wife demanded a divorce about three years ago she told me she never loved me and she thoughtthat she and the kids would thrive without me

keep in mind I worked fifty hour weeks to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table and my wife was a bored housewife who had no bothered to get a job despite me asking her repeatedly when the kids got old enough to be in school full time which they had been old enough for full time all days school for years at that point

so I said okay and hired a divorce attorney my wife just wanted to cause me emotional distress by saying that shit she did not actually have paper ready or anything

turned out alimony is not a thing in my state and the default for custody these days is fifty fifty split weeks equal time with both parents joint custody

so we got divorced wife got a hell of a lot less then she demanded thankfully and I quit my job and enrolled full time at a junior college starting in the summer to become an MRI tech pays good money

took me four semesters so a little over a year while studying even during the summer terms and now I stack my shift work double on Sundays and Mondays normal eight hour shift on tuesday so a full forty hour work week condensed into two and a half days and all days I do not have the kids

so I have a lot more disposable income and I get to spend a lot more time doing fun things with my children

my ex wife has been pitch a fit because she has to work when she has the kids so I have the right of first refusal when it comes to child care so I have the kids a bit of than her and thus do not have to pay her screeching ass child support since that situation

as am I the asshole for figuring out how to live my life after my wife decided to be emotional abusive an destroy our family in the process?

to put it bluntly my sister is one of those people made not settling a personality trait it got rather annoying rather quickly

and she just had a laundry list criteria for a potential partner to meet before she even would speak to them, it took about a decade before she met a guy who measured up to her standards and they started dating for about six months

then they hit the serious conversation bench mark, and she stated just talking about everything she expected and wanted but she did not take into consideration her partners wants and desire

my sister was very clear she did not want children…. ever…… nor ever moving outside the city she currently lives in which is insanely expensive….

she did not even consider the guy who met all of her high standards, might have his own list that she did not measure up too

her now ex boyfriend wanted kids and to live in Paris for a few years at some point, so he the respectfully person that he is ended things rather than trying to pressure her to want children or to live and France since she had told him they wanted different things in life

and she basically has been saying how men are trash and how her boyfriend was evil for breaking up with for for not wanting kids

and I am just like no…… you do not get to throw a temper tantrum because someone you were dating respected your boundaries and you as a person when you told him what you wanted from life and it did not match what he wanted from life

so am I the asshole for not letting my sister demonize someone who respected her bodily autonomy and her as a person, when he ended their relationship tprather then pressuring her into a life with him she said she did not want long term?
